Our kids (DD) 3y9m and (DS) 6y0m - who acts 5y0m, enjoy most of the comical 3D shows - Muffets, Honey I shrunk the audience (they still are afraid of It's Tough To Be A Bug).

I am sure they do not have the patience for any of the standing (360 degree) movies - China and Canada in WS or Timekeeper ? at MK.

My question is about some of the other sit down movies which are more educational than purely entertaining - US Adventure or France in WS or Hall of Presidents in MK, do you think these would hold the interest of children this age or will they become too fidgety from boredom ?

Some kids love them, some kids can't sit still. It's impossible to say without ever having met your children! :D

However, at the ages you've listed, it's likely that they'll get bored with the films simply because most of the narration will go over their heads and they're not yet at the age where scenery or pageantry is going to catch their eye.

But one way to find out is click onto History Channel one night or onto Travel Channel. Have them sit down and watch for a half-hour and gauge their interest. (Be sure the room is otherwise quiet, with no major distractions, like it would be at WDW.) If they can sit still and seem interested -- even if it's just an interest in what's on the screen, whether they understand it or not -- then they should be fine. If they get squirrely after ten minutes, then you should probably skip those.

My kids get real bored with that kind of thing and they are close to your children's ages. We saw the timekeeper, and thye wiggled and squirmed the whole time. Kept wanting to know when we can leave. That being said, remember you have to stand through some of these and it may be too much for young ones.

We went in November and my boys were 3.5 and 5.5. They really loved Mickey's Philharmagic. It's the new 3-D movie in MK. You've got to see it!

They didn't really love the Muppets and they didn't want to try the other 2 3-D movies.

We didn't try the movies in Epcot WS. So I can't help you there. The boys did love Spaceship Earth!
