i forget exactly how the conversation went but after jack delivered the aby in the elevater during a black out caused by a huge snow storm phyllis decided to name her summer as a kind of opposit of your birth day kinda thing.

interesting that she didn't name the baby with her husband

I totally agree about the Adam/Ashley storyline, that is just plain wrong.

My niece that was just born on May 28 is named Summer - not because of Summer on the show but because my sister and her husband wanted an S name to go with their other daughter Samantha's name and that was the one they both liked and they both like the summer so it made sense.

I was just thinking the same thing - Summer is cute name and is going to fit my niece well. But Fenmore has got the be the most rediculous name I have ever heard - even when they call him Fen - that is dumb too. Besides doesn't Genoa City have Fenmore Department stores? The kid would totally get beat up if he was in real life.

i don't know if the Fenmore's department store is still in business.

whenever lauren goes to Fenmores it's always that boutique she goes to not a department store.

i think the writers wanted it to be more snooty so the got ride of the department store in favour for a high scale designer shop


remember when lauren went to b&b and had a meeting with Forrester about having a store in their upscale blvd there were planning with other designer stores

and she's often referring back to the forresters collections

YUP, I was thinking about Y&R yesterday while watching the show (and btw that scene with Daniel and Phyllis was sweet, with her sitting in the dark, upset about her marriage and Daniel there to hug her and hold her) AND it HIT ME.....although I have always loved the name Summer for a girl, I thought that was so wicked cool that they named her Summer and YET now I am thinking it was for Phyllis' maiden name!!! WHILE thinking how cool Summer is for a name....ITA..... FENMORE and REED.......naaaa......not happening for me AT ALL.


AND MISTER JACK.....well isn't he just the stud-muffin of the week with all the ladies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't normally post in this thread, though I do lurk. Anyway, I just had to post this. I normally PVR the show so am a big behind but on y/days show in Canada (todays show in the US) they showed Mary Jane with an animal (not sure if it is a dog or a cat) but man, that thing looked so fake. Now I am beginning to wonder if is a prop or if she is gone nuts or something and keeping a dead animal in the house As I said, I have not seen the latest shows, so just curious...........and you all know what curiosity did to the cat
