Sharon and Jack say a heart-wrenching goodbye to each other this week as their relationship finally comes to an end.

Jack shows up at the cabin, where Sharon is trying to relax and re-evaluate her life. Sharon is surprised by Jack's arrival, but not angry. Jack is being very sweet to Sharon, trying very hard to patch things up, but at this point it's too little/too late for their marriage.

Suddenly, the electricity goes out and Jack goes to fix the generator. As he works on it, he tells Sharon he's got the divorce papers and works to change her mind about signing them. Sharon understands that Jack loves her and wants her to have a change of heart, but she realizes that he's a habitual liar and that will never stop. Finally, the two of them comes to terms with what they've lost.

The scene is heartbreaking as Sharon and Jack -- both in tears -- say a final goodbye to each other. They don't really say too much because everything's already been said, but Sharon does tell Jack that she will always care about him. Realizing that it's really over, Jack leaves the cabin.

Shortly after, Brad arrives and confesses his love to Sharon. (See SOD Article.) Sharon has come to realize that Brad is just a friend, and the person she really has feelings for is Nick. For now though, she's going to try the single life for a while. However, with Phyllis and Nick's marriage on the rocks, she may not be alone for long...

The quest to prove Kay's real identity leads to a tricky scheme by Amber and Kevin and a confrontation with the jeweler who purchased Kay's pricey emerald ring. Jeanne Cooper (Kay) expounds on the convoluted tale.

WEEKLY: Is Kay aware that Amber and Kevin have decided to break into the pawn shop to find the receipt for the ring?

COOPER: No! It's their secret. If Kay knew what they were up to, she would stop them right away. She'd say, "What are you trying to do? You're going to go to jail, and I need you out here working for me."

WEEKLY: Nevertheless, Amber and Kevin go through with their elaborate plan, but come up with nothing.

COOPER: Poor things! They feel so badly and are so disappointed that they don't find anything their way.

WEEKLY: Meanwhile, there's more bad news on the proving-Kay-is-Kay front: Michael tells Kay the judge denied their request for a DNA test.

COOPER: There's not enough evidence for the judge to order Jill to get a DNA test that would prove she and Kay are mother and daughter, and that Kay is Kay.

WEEKLY: Does Kay's bubble burst when Michael delivers this news?

COOPER: Absolutely. Kay is at her wit's end at this point. Everything is working against her.

WEEKLY: Then Michael comes up with another plan: having Kay come face-to-face with the jeweler who bought her ring from the pawnbroker, so she can identify it. What happens?

COOPER: The jeweler comes to Murphy's trailer. Michael has bought Kay dress-up clothes. So when she comes out, she looks just like Katherine Chancellor. The jeweler takes out the emerald ring and shows it to Kay.

WEEKLY: Of course, it fits Kay perfectly. Kay and Michael persuade the jeweler to loan the ring to them, so they can prove who Kay truly is. What's their next step?

COOPER: They're going to meet with the pawn shop owner to try to get him to admit he bought the ring from Kay.

WEEKLY: What are Kay's thoughts going into that meeting?

COOPER: Kay is apprehensive, but she knows she pawned her ring with him. She knows he bought it. And she's determined that the truth be told. Kay's going to get it out of him, even if Murphy has to knock it out of him.

Does anyone remember when Cassie came to Nick and showed him Sharon and Nick together with a new baby named Faith? This could be it guys!!!!!

This week, Sharon is hoping to enjoy a quiet vacation by herself at the Abbott mansion when Brad surprises her with a visit. He also confesses that he's still in love with her.

Bad news for Brad. Sharon doesn't feel the same way. Once again, it's not a good time for Brad who's trying to deal with a woman who feels completely betrayed by the men in her life.

Sharon Case says that Sharon is still raw about the way things ended up with Jack, and then to learn that Brad was in cahoots with Phyllis, she just can't view him as "relationship material" right now.

After several attempts at trying to make Sharon change her mind about him, Brad finally realizes that Sharon is only in love with one man -- Nick. Sharon even confirms it. For Brad, it's hard to compete with the man who was Sharon's high-school sweetheart.

Sharon Case says that she's not sure that Nick and Sharon ever stopped loving each other. They've shared too much with each other and can't just erase the feelings they once had.

That said, a rejected Brad decides to let her be when he accepts the fact that Sharon is in love with another man. He then leaves the cabin, declaring that he'll always love her... and heads outside into a raging blizzard.

Is this what causes Brads death?

What is this... all these men running to Sharon while she is at a cabin in the MOUNTAINS I understand why Brad and Jack would go see her but why Nick? And if they do sleep together, I bet that Nick keeps it from Phyllis and a few weeks later Sharon will tell Nick she is pregnant. talk about a hitch in your get-a-long.....that will devastate Phyllis. That would make for a great story line. By the way....

Am I the only one that likes Nick with Phyllis I have not liked Sharon and Nick together for a long time. Sharon is not the Sharon that I use to like...and I think that her and Nick are boring together. Phyllis and Nick are hot together.

Sharon and Brad would have been a great story line also. When she hooked up with Jack I was like I always felt like she was hanging with her father.

If they are to split...who will Phyllis be with...she needs to be with someone. Not Jack...I use to love them together but Jack is such a bad human being.

Hey Got Disney I hope you have had a nice day.

I have atually come to like Nick and Phyllis together. They do have a lot of chemistry. But there is just something about Nick and Sharon.

Don't forget that Phyllis has a dark side to. Maybe it will come back out. I think I like her better when she is causing trouble.

I'm still wondering if anything about Summers paternity will come back up.

I do prefer Sharon and Nick together. I used to LOVE Phyllis and Jack - don't know how I would feel it them now.

And you're right, december - we are so quick to bash Phyllis but it takes TWO to tango -- we should be hating on Nick too. He clearly has a problem!

Oh wow ya'll. This is going to be good. Nick and Sharon finding their way back to each other. It's about time!!!! We all know that Phyllis isn't going to take this sitting down. Frankly I think Jack is going to have a cow too. I can see Phyllis and Jack joining forces to make life difficult for eveeryone around them.

I didn't read that part - yes, then that would be it. I did read that his last air date is in the beginning of February.

Noah asks Nick if they can go see Sharon, he's worried about her. Nick says that would ruin the purpose of Sharon going there to be alone, while they talk, Phyllis takes the response fax Sharon sent to Nick and hides it. Heather comes to see Victor telling him that just because the Mexican authorities have closed the case in regards to Walter doesn't mean he's off the hook! Kevin, Jana, Daniel and Amber start their plan to sneak into the pawnshop to get back Katherine's ring, the one thing stopping them from continuing their plan is a dog! Paul takes Nikki to see Katherine, Nikki still believes Katherine is a fake despite Paul's belief that Katherine is who she says she is. Sharon is at the cabin, she has flashbacks of her ONS w/ Brad then breaking his heart, has flashbacks of when she married Nick then his affair, then has flashbacks of Jack during happier times then finding out he lied. Jack and Noah talk about Sharon, the divorce and Jack saying he'll always be there for Noah. Jack is served w/ divorce papers. Gloria has a busy day in jail, Jack, Jill, Jeffrey and Victor all come to see her. All making her offers they believe she won't refuse. Phyllis asks Brad to meet her at a bar, she asks him to go to the cabin and try to get back w/ Sharon. Phyllis is in for a shock when Nick shows up at the bar to confront her (Brad had Nick on the phone, Nick knows what Phyllis is upto)

Next - Victor wants Gloria to agree to his offer; Nick confronts Phyllis for hiding the fax Sharon sent in response to his; Jana and Daniel worry when Kevin and Amber take long to get the ring

Thanks for all the spoilers!! I love Nick and Sharon together and can't stand Phyllis in any capacity. I hope there is a little Faith in the future!! Gloria creeps me out and Abby sure is a ditz to be as smart as her mama thinks she is!!
