And besides Ashley's age, I guess we've forgotten that Ashley was told she couldn't get pregnant after she lost Brad's son!

Was it ever stated that he had it reversed for some reason? I have no memory of it but I usually rely on everyone's memory here to remind me of the things I forget

Unfortunately, I don't think the writer's read here. We catch a lot of things they forgot or chose to ignore. Like the age of children.

Hey. the mystery woman. Could there be any reason that it would be the fake Phyllis? What was her name? Crazy Sheila, fresh from a new South American plastic surgery? I can't think of any connection to Victor, but that has never stopped them before.

While I'm a new viewer to Y&R....and I don't know all the back stories..(but you guys have been very helpful) forgive me for saying this..but isn't Ashley a little old to be having another child?...
I mean looking at the age of her daughter..and the history I've read, I figured her to be in her mid to late 40's ?...Not judging..I' mean I'm 51 Only really pregnant?..Victor as well...kind of creeps me out.
I wish soaps would allow characters to age..and experience things that natural aging process bring with it. Hmmm...can we say MENOPAUSE!

Oh..and lookin' at Victor...I'm thinkin' he should have one of those "going" problems as well.


Now THAT would be an interesting conversation:

Ashley: Victor, will we meet later for lunch at the Athletic Club?(WHT is
that..these people eat at the gym? )


Victor: No, my darling ...who uses that expression, and is he British at
times? I have a prostate exam schedule for 1 pm.

Ashley: Victor, my love, I'm so proud of you for taking that risk.
There are so many people in this town that have wanted to stick it
to you. Or..so I've heard. By they way..do you know if Jack
is out of town today?
Victor: I am only following your lead, my darling. I know how diffiicult this
menopausal period of your life has been. Although, you haven't gained
weight, forgotten a thing, or had your skin dry up like a wrinkled
prune. I think..perhpas Ashley..my super powerful sperm have
in fact, impregnated you! You are young again! I shall have
more off spring who shall age like the dog (seven years for every
one)..but alas..I shall remain young and viral..as long as the
writers can stand me up and color the mustache hair on my face.

As a new viewer..with sort of an outsiders view, not being familiar with the history of the characters. I've wondered the same thing. WHY apparently some very intelligent and otherwise business savy women don't ever question him or simply look the other way?

So true...What was I thinking They'd also have to change the name of the show!

I have to say, as far as soaps go..it does seem to move more quickly than some I've watched..and that's what got me tuning in. Additionaly, not ALL the characrters are teenagers or young twenty somethings. They do have a decent mix of ages.

I'm on board with creating a data base so the writers can stop rewriting history. Also, so they can stop recycling story lines.

I love that Colleen is going after the board seat. Good for her!

Billy and Mac are both Katherine's grandchildren. Billy is daughter of Jill. Mac is daughter of Brock. BUT I just thought of this. If Jill isn't really Katherine's daughter, then Billy and Mac are not related. Didn't Billy mention Mac just this week????

Billy and Mac are first cousins. Katherine is grandmother to both Billy and Mac - well, at least until Jill is proven not to be Kay's daughter.

That was Julia-but he didn't lock her in the basement-it was her boyfriend if I'm remembering correctly. And Paul used to throw him food down there! Julia was pregnant by the boyfriend, but a beating by Victor caused a miscarriage. Such a fine upstanding guy!

Brock is Mac's father. Jill is Billy's mother. If Jill belongs to Kay, then Brock and Jill and siblings, so Mac and Billy are 1st cousins.

Billy and Mac got married and Jill had to go tell them about being Katherine's daughter (and thus their relation as cousins) before they could consummate the marriage.
