You Want to Stay Where?! A July PTR* TR LINK 8/8!

I just found and read your whole pre trip report and i LOVE it!!!! i hope you don't mind if i join in with the ADR game, it looks super fun! :thumbsup2 I am going July as well, will be hot, crowded but MAGICAL!

ADR guesses: Breakfast- 1900 park fare
Dinner- Narcooses

Here are my votes once again on Thursday Night!!!!

Signature/Celebrity Chef: Narcoossee's-one of the best meals I have had at Disney

Character/Dinner Show: Cindrella's Royal Table - That's where Bill and I got engaged so it has a special place in my heart!!

Table Service: Rose and Crown- Love to watch Illuminations while finishing dinner

Counter Service: Earl of Sandwich-love the sandwiches!!!

Hope you had a great week!!

Earl of Sandwich (looking forward to trying this one)

Thanks for playing Kimberly!

Hey, at least I know who to PM now. :rotfl2::lmao:

That's right!

:scratchin Totally did not see that one coming. Well played.

:joker:

And you asked about the Agent P missions. They have a kiosk on the walkway to World Showcase and then in Norway and Italy to get the phone. You could probably get more than one, but you really won't need to

Thank you!

Uh oh... I hope your phone has enough memory. We all know she certainly isn't camera shy. :rotfl2::lmao:

I'll give anyone wearing a princess dress a free pass. :rotfl2:

Wow, I'm impressed. I like that idea. Where did you find that picture for day 33?

I just Googled "Disney World coloring pages" and then saved the images. There are quite a few like that!

ADR Guesses:
Ohana
I know it has to be Narcoossees or 1900 PF. So I guess I'll flip a coin.
Narcoossees

Tournament:
Artist Point: We've already established the fact that I love Wilderness Lodge and am a snob towards the GF snobs. No surprise here.
CRT: This is a tough one. I almost voted Hoop De Doo, but I think I would still like to eat in the castle one of these days. Actually I think next trip, DD will be 2 and we might actually do this.
Whispering Canyon: Endless supplies of ribs and chicken. Bottomless milkshakes. They even have fish. R&C has nothing on WCC.
Sunshine Seasons: Tough match up. These are 2 well loved CS places that my family as a whole doesn't really care too much for. I do like the convenience of Sunshine Seasons for grabbing a quick snack and the fact that you can find lots of fresh fruit and items like that.

I hope you give CRT a try-there's really something about it.

My picks for the week are:

Artist's Point
Cindrella's Royal Table
Whispering Canyon Café
Earl of Sandwich

I love your countdown that's a cute idea.

Thanks! And thanks for playing!

I truly do not know how you do it all...I get tired just reading what you do.

Cheerios and socks? Now that is a strange combination. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

This weeks picks from me if I had to choose eating at one or the other would be:

Artist's Point v. Narcoossee's -- we have never done either, but I do want to try Artist's Point (probably our December trip) and have no interest in Narcoossee's -- so Artist's Point wins for me

Cinderella's Royal Table v. Hoop Dee Doo Revue -- again have done neither, but being you have a princess and I like princesses -- Cinderella's Royal Table wins here

Whispering Canyon Cafe v. Rose and Crown is an easy one. ROSE AND CROWN A MILLION TIMES OVER WCC. We ate at WCC once and you could not pay us to go back. Rude hostess, boring waitress and really bad food (so bad that Mark got sick on it and we know it was the food because of what he ate that I didn't)

Sunshine Seasons v. Earl of Sandwich -- Earl of Sandwich by a long shot.

Have a great weekend.

Like you have nothing going on with that wedding to prepare for...

Thanks for playing Kathy!

Ok time for some voting Signature-Narcossees, Character- Cinderella's Royal Table, Table- Whispering Canyon, and Counter- Earl of Sandwich. As for the reservations for your waterpark day I am guessing Ohana and 1900 Park Fare. Maddie's luggage is adorable as well as her poncho! Yes my target list is usually super eclectic, kids underware, yogurt, dog treats and tea bags! Just an example! So I have had one phone interview and two sit down interviews and a call from HR yesterday, they still have not offered me the job but I am getting closer everyday! I had to get five email references and have to go get drug test and background check done. Not worried about any of these things but time consuming! Thanks for the pixiedust:

Glad I'm not the only one with the totally random lists! I'm going to comment on the job search later...:goodvibes

Guess your ADR's

Ohana and 1900 park fare

Artist's point

CInderella's Royal Table - went here once when i was like 10. Loved the view from the castle

Whispering canyon cafe - funny antics

Earl of Sandwich - sandwiches!

Thanks for playing!

I was religous about putting that thing around my neck and anal about keeping track of it. To this day none of us knows how the heck I lost it. I know about when and where, just know how.

I'm so nervous about that! I may just end up putting it in the little purse that I carry in the parks.

Here are my picks:
Signature/Celebrity Chef

Narcoossee's: It gets pretty good reviews. Lately Artist Point has been sort of "meh" for some people.

Character/Dinner Show
3. Cindrella's Royal Table: Love eating in the castle, and I've enjoyed my food there too. Too bad it's gotten to the point where I'm going to have to cut off my right arm for payment!

14. Rose and Crown: Tough call on this one, but I find the Rose and Crown menu more appealing.

Counter Service
6. Earl of Sandwich: Love this place!

I love your countdown calendar! What a great idea for her to color in the pictures and write a sentence about them. Yes, I am a teacher! :rotfl:
And also? I am in love with Maddie's luggage. I would like it for myself!

Thanks for voting! And thank you! I got the idea from Pinterest ;) I'm glad that teachers approve-I feel a little mean sneaking in the learning. :lmao:

Great update!

Don't worry, if I had a child, I would be that Mom too!!!! :rotfl:

Thank You!

Voting for Artist Point, Cinderella's Royal Table, Whispering Canyon, and Earl of Sandwich.

Darn, had I known about the park hoppers I might have guessed BOG! Probably not though. I highly recommend meeting my Mexican brethren, fiesta Donald.

My guesses are 1900 Park Fare and 'Ohana. Two Seven Seas Lagoon resorts in one day!

Love your mishmash update. The countdown is adorable!

I so hope we can meet Fiesta Donald this trip. He's the one that I've wanted to meet on the last 2 trips!

Thanks Marissa. I bet you're getting so excited!

First I'll vote, then comment.

OKAY. Epcot. Brandon and I LOVE it, and the girls love Future World a lot. We decided to do the Phineas and Ferb Mission last year (it'll be in my TR soon, cause it happened on the day I'm writing now!), but I'll go ahead and tell you that it was a BLAST, and it really helped them get through WS! I think she will love it! You can pick up your FP for it on the way into WS and get the "phone" at Norway.
I also think that this year I'm gonna let them do the Duffy on a Stick coloring thing to help them make it.

I'm not a fan of Akershus either, but PRINCESSES. So we're totally going back, too.

I LOVE YOUR COUNTDOWN!!! I would LOVE for you to send it to me! I'll PM you my email address.:cool1:
Also, I'm THAT MOM, too. My kids will totally be writing sentences.

I love Maddie's selfies! Julia discovered that on the ipad mini, and we've got some hilarious shots. I think it shows their personalities!

I can't wait for your etsy shop!:cheer2:

THAT LUGGAGE!!!!!!!!! AMAZING!!!!!!

We also got that poncho at Target, one for each girl, and we got Sawyer a Star Wars one. We took the last ones they had. My Target lists are always weird, too. Like "bedspread, bacon, dryer sheets, baby wipes, sunglasses." But I pretty much live there because you can get all that in one place!

I'm not actually playing the guessing game, but I'm going 'Ohana breakfast, Narcoossee's dinner.

Another great update (or three!)!

I can't get the file to send Jen, but I'll get Bryan on it this weekend I promise! I have another file that you might want too!

Yay! I'm glad that you got the girls the ponchos-I picked one up for RGirl's DD this weekend too. They are too cute for WDW.

I can't handle the Duffy coloring. It takes tooooo long, and even at Maddie's age the Sharpies make me nervous. I'm not into ruining clothes for fun.

Thanks Jen!

Lovely photo of Maddie meeting Belle! I just love these photos!

My DGD just loves Epcot, and now it's her favorite, at least last year. We'll have to wait and see what is her new favorite. I was surprised that she handled the fact that test tract was closed so well!. Everyday she would wake up and say, I want to go to Epcot, and I'd have to say, not today... But, we did manage three Epcot days!

We love Mousegears! It's a must do for us. And, she and her dad did Agent P's mission a couple of times and they both loved it. While they did that I got to wonder around enjoying the World Showcase. Last year, they had the Agent P Mission control on the bridge (left side) crossing from Future World to the World Showcase.

In England, you'll might be able to catch Mary Poppins and Alice, just outside the teashop towards the back. And, inside the big gift shop are Pooh and Tigger!

My DGD enjoys the Kidcot stations and coloring her Duffy Bear and having it stamped by each country. I also make a Epcot Passport that she has signed by the cast members. Have you ever done these things with Maddie? The passport has room for members signatures, stamps and room for them to leave a special message written in their language. I'd be more than glad to send the Epcot Passport your way... I make mine into an 8x10 book.

We did Les Chefs last year and it was much fun to meet Remy! Our lunch was so good and filling we ended up having to cancel our dinner reservation at Akershus. Even though I did a walk up cancel and didn't give the 24 hrs notice, they didn't charge us the no show fee.

We always have to have a pool break due to the heat and the crowds. And, since we never make rope drop, it does impact on what we do. But, it is a family vacation and we need to accommodate everyone's needs, besides we do have lots of fun!

Can't wait to hear all about Maddie and Be Our Guest! She will be thrilled beyond.... hope she gets a great selection and dances with the Beast!

My guess for your ADRs:

Chef Mickey for breakfast
Ohana for dinner

Enjoy.... Karen

Thanks for a fantastic idea, and for the very generous offer to share your passport! (stay tuned for the next update ;)

We've met Pooh and Tigger there before (I simply cannot pass up the change to drop into the shoppes in UK for some reason!), but we never seem to catch Mary and Alice there! That's part of the reason that we did the 1900 breakfast last year. Maddie was determined to meet Alice!

You know I'll have lots and lots of princess and Maddie pics to share after the trip!

I am ashamed to say that I'm way too impatient to let Maddie color in every country. She's such a perfectionist that we'd be in each country for an hour!:lmao:

Thanks Kathy! I hope your Mother's Day was great too. I know you'll enjoy using your new luggage!

You tricked us with your park hoppers! Good job, I never would have thought that you would leave Epcot and then go to MK for Be Our Guest. ::yes::

She's 6 and already taking selfies with a phone? :faint: I can't keep up with kids and technologies. :rotfl:

We don't have Target here yet, but they are currently building them and they should be opening early Fall 2013 (per their website). So right now my random shopping list is for when I go to Walmart. I cannot go into Walmart with buying some cute Disney baby clothes. It makes up a little for not having any Disney store nearby.

Love the luggage! So cute!

Love love LOVE your countdown calendar! :hyper: Send it to me PLEASE! And you know the teacher in me loves that you are making Maddie write about things she loves at Disney!

Ohana for breakfast
Narcoossee's for dinner

Mel, PM your email address and I will totally send the countdown calendar. It was fun to make!

I'm so glad that I'm not the only one with eclectic shopping lists.

Selfies at 6. It shocks me how easily kids take to technology. I'm pretty sure that it took me 6 months to figure out how to take them (not that I do) :lmao:

Oh man I missed the last rounds!!! Been crazy, crazy! Our trip is almost here and planning a wedding from 1500 miles away is fun, but a lot! I am so behind on my Dising!!!
I love, love Maddies luggage and poncho!! We just got new luggage, great deals from ebags.com!
My Target list is extremely random, every time and I always end up with twice as much as I "planned" on :rotfl:

As for ToT!:

Narcoossees, this was a tough choice and we would love to eat at both but I think I would choose here first, and that almond cheesecake mmmm!!!

CRT, the castle. That is all. LOL We are really excited to eat here!

Rose & Crown, I like the menu

Earl of Sandwich, my DF is going to looove these sandwiches!

For your ADR's I am going to say, 1900 Park Fare and O'hana!

I hope you have a very Happy Mother's Day!!! :goodvibes

Please tell me you're planning on a TR. I love weddings, and WDW weddings are even better! I'm sure you have your hands full!

I looked on ebags! I ended up getting those from Overstock though.

The weather was crazy in our area, wasn't it? We had some minor sump pump problems, but in the end, everything was okay.

Yay! Maddie's ready to conquer the Yeti!!! I'm sure we're taking Joaquin on. We won't warn him about the Yeti though. Yeah.....we kinda roll that way. :rotfl2:

My mom used to make me outfits for my American Girl Dolls. And now that I think about it, I can't believe American Girl has been around that long!

Okay, I haven't participated in Tournament of Food thus far, but I'll start!

Narcoossee's (based on what my Mom says, she's eaten at both)

Hoop Dee Doo Revue

Rose and Crown

Earl of Sandwich

Maddie's selfies are great. Gotta love it when they figure out how to do that with the phone.

So glad you're back Danielle. Couldn't keep the Yeti a secret from Maddie-she's a Stacey freak! She knows alllll about all of the rides at WDW (or at least the ones Stacey covers) She's also convinced that Space Mt. is going to her new favorite ride-even though she doesn't like dark rides. Thanks Stacey!

Glad to have you playing!

Hi Shannon! Just checking in. ;) LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the luggage and the countdown pages! :cool1:

Thanks Roni!

Happy Mother's Day!

Thanks Kimberly! I hope you had a great day as well.

Happy Mothers Day!!

I'm back to the Dis after a break (work, school, kids, life).

I'm all caught up! We went last July and it was great!

Thank you! Glad to see you back! We are getting so excited!

Sooooooo I got the job!!!! Yeah they called and offered the sales position to me yesterday!!!! I am so excited to start my training on June 3! I have to travel for my training for a week and I'm nervous about leaving my kids, but my husband has assured me all will be well when I'm gone! He told the kids they were going to party all week when mom is away! :rotfl2:

:banana::cool1::thumbsup2:woohoo:

Congratulations!

Okay, so I read this all on my phone, but didn’t have a good enough way to reply, so we’re finally doing it now! YAY!

Yum Le Cellier! Glad it won!

I’m going to vote: Narcoose’s

CRT!

Whispering Canyon!

And Sunshine!

Aahahah, Maddie and I are the same, Epcot’s nice and all, but I’d rather be at another park! Yay Akershus. Breakfast didn’t wow me, but I really liked the dinner Paige and I had!

If you’re coming from Akershus, I’d say you could take that little back path from beside the first aid station over to TT, grab a fast pass, and depending if the wait time is crazy or not, jump in line, then over to Soarin, and then back to TT to use the fast pass. Doesn’t have THAT much back tracking lawl.

Will the character spot be open by then??

Mulan and Belle are my definite meets in Epcot, as you get blue dress Belle, and Mulan is nowhere else! Also keep an eye out for those special in training characters! Over summer you may see some fun ones that would be training for MNSSHP!!

What time’s your ADR? I know we had like, a 2:45 one and got seated right away and got to see Remy, he’s super adorable!!

I wish I could be there to see Maddie’s reaction to BOG, it’s so amazing in there, I can’t help but have my breath taken away by the ballroom every time I go in there! You should ask if Shelly’s available to be your server that night! She’s a friend of mine! Lawl. She’s great!

I’m gonna guess 1900 and Ohana for the ADR’s on the next day!

I REALLY want to use PP plus, simply because I’ve heard the photogs are more likely to take a ton of photos if you have the red card, but my Mom didn’t think it was worth it. Second trip and now she’s doing all her own research. I’m thinking I might just offer to pay the difference, as it isn’t much!! Lawl. A few more days to Online check in!! EEEEK

Love the luggage, and the poncho, Maddie looks so happy in it! I have to say, we don’t have Target in many places up here yet, but my Walmart lists are just as random! Lawl.

I LOVE the countdown calander! It’s super cute!

Thanks Katt!

Where would we find the training characters exactly? I'd love to keep an eye out for some new characters to meet.

She is beyond excited to get to BoG. I may video her walking in just in case she actually freaks.

Epcot always makes me feel like I'm missing something (which I usually am :lmao:) We just never have time to see everything. But, yeah I'd rather be at MK.

I am going to put in my guesses for 1900 park fair and chef Mickey's.

Thanks for playing!

Signature/Celebrity Chef6. Narcoossee's – how can you beat that view??? And I need a lobster from there!!!

Character/Dinner Show6. Hoop Dee Doo Revue – for our family this is a no-brainer!! This was our first Disney dinner on our first Disney trip – and it was THE BEST!!!

Table Service14. Rose and Crown – this was one of our best lunches on the last trip – and where we had our BEST waitress – my DH was a little taken with “Katie” – not only was she so sweet, but cute too!! It’s a shame that day was her last day working at Disney – she was heading home!! (and since DH and I have our 20 yr anniversary this year, Im comfortable enough in teasing him about his "dear Katie".....

Counter Service6. Earl of Sandwich – fabulous sammies!!!

Guess my ADRs:
Chef Mickey: breakfast
Ohana: dinner

Is it bad that as a 40 yr old, I would TOTALLY rock that luggage??? :rotfl:

Thanks for playing! I'm thinking lobster might be in order for me at Narcoossees too. :thumbsup2

Not at all! I got it from Overstock ;)

Gee, Thursday sneeks up on me... and I've just realized that it's Wednesday, but I'm gonna vote now"

And for next week's battles:

Narcoossee's
Cindrella's Royal Table
Rose and Crown (Oh tough to let go of Whispering Canyon)
Sunshine Service (Earl, so sorry... but Sunshine is in Epcot and has great variety!)

Well, these are my choices... some were hard and some were easy!

Thanks Karen

Thanks for playing Karen!

It's funny because I think Maddie and I have the same ideas about what's entertaining in Epcot! Characters are definitely one of the highlights for me. AND I made an ADR at Chefs de France last time just because I wanted to meet Remy but DBF made me cancel it rawr.

Ah kids are learning to use technology younger and younger by the day. Presley is 2 and the baby I babysit for is a little over 1 and they both know how to take pictures of themselves on my phone and they pose for them! Scary.

I've kinda given up making lists for target lol. No matter what's on my list I leave with about 10 things I don't need and maybe half of what I actually went there for!

Maddie's new luggage is adorable! I'm glad it's roomy enough for her puffy princess dress as well lol!

My votes are for: Narcossees, CRT, WCC and Earl of Sandwich.

I think you'll be eating at Ohana (which my phone originally autocorrected to Obama lol) for breakfast and Narcossees for dinner!

Ah good trick with park hopping to BoG! Totally didn't see that coming. But it's pretty awesome that you're starting the morning with Belle and ending with Beast!

The only reason I make lists for Target is because I'd leave without getting the 3 things I actually went in for! I'd be sure to have a cart full of other stuff though.

I'm not real high brow about Epcot-my favorite part is the shopping :rotfl:

How cute are Maddie's selfies?!? I love finding little surprises like that on my phone...speaking of which, you realize she's going to want her own phone entirely too soon, right?

Love the luggage and the poncho!

I'm sure you're right. Luckily it hasn't occurred to her to ask for her own phone yet. :faint:

Whaaaat!?! You have park hoppers? Now that threw me all off!!! And I thought that I had it all figured out - hahaha! Your Day 5 plans sound great!! Now for Day 6... (uhh and I thought that picking your Day 5 ADRs was hard!!!) Before you head to the water park, I think you'll have breakfast at Ohana and .... let's see, I'll go with Narcoossee's for dinner since I don't think you'll go to the GF twice in one day. (But who knows, maybe you will!!! Actually, we are doing Ohana for breakfast and Ohana for dinner on the same day just because that's how it worked out. Now that's going to be a lot of food!)

And my next Tournament of Food picks are:

Signature/Celebrity Chef
Narcoossee's

Character/Dinner Show
Cindrella's Royal Table

Table Service
Whispering Canyon Cafe

Counter Service
Earl of Sandwich

Maddie's new luggage is so darn cute!! Love the polka dots! I guess I really should start thinking about how I'm going to get all of this "stuff" that I keep buying for our vacation there. I absolutely can not wait for our vacation but the thought of packing ...and haling luggage ... and the airport with my big family makes me SO nervous!! Ahh!! I haven't been on a plane in over 8 years and it will be all of the kiddos first time! Boy do I wish that I could just snap my finger and we would all just be at the resort without having to deal with all of the traveling to get there- haha!!:wizard:

If I had a superpower it would definitely be teleportation. ::yes:: I don't envy you one bit!

Thanks for playing!

I just found and read your whole pre trip report and i LOVE it!!!! i hope you don't mind if i join in with the ADR game, it looks super fun! :thumbsup2 I am going July as well, will be hot, crowded but MAGICAL!

Thanks so much for joining in! It will be hot, and crowded, but we don't care either. We're so excited!

How awesome that you got engaged at CRT! That's so cool!

All right food fans-it's that time again!

Last week we saw some great restaurants go head to head. Let's see how things turned out shall we?

Signature/Celebrity Chef

3. Artist's Point vs. 6. Narcoossees

The view from Narcoossees proved to be too much for Artist's Point as the underdog pulled off a convincing victory.

again-location, location, location.

CRT by a landslide

Counter Service

3. Sunshine Seasons vs. 6. Earl of Sandwich

In a shocking upset, Bryan's favorite sandwich joint beat the Epcot fave. Earl of Sandwich wins!

Here's how the bracket looks now:

5. Boma vs. 13. Coral Reef

Counter Service

I finally have a decent sewing update! None of it is really Disney related, but in a pinch I could say that now that I'm done with these things I'm one step closer to starting the Alice dress and opening up shop to make Disney things for you guys! :lmao:

Last week I mentioned the AG tent I was making, and I got that done. It was so easy, and Maddie is thrilled with it. We have plans to make a fire, marshmallows, and roasting sticks from clay to go along with it!

Maddie and I did go to the fabric store this week to buy the fabric for her Alice costume, and while we were there we fell in love with this fabric. I have some left over, so I might make her a tiered ruffle skirt from it as well

And, I'm happy to report that the graduation dress is DONE! After even more drama with it-I'm finished. It's leaving the house tomorrow! However, I wasn't done with the fabric. The graduate requested that her very special little cousin have a coordinating dress to wear to the ceremony. (Seriously, how many 18 year olds would want a 6 year old to match them at their graduation ceremony? She is such a special kid-which is the only reason I didn't chuck the darn dress out the window :rotfl:) So tonight I sat down and got to work on a version for Maddie.

To refresh your memory here is the grad dress:

And here is the one that I made Maddie. I may add some sparkle tomorrow, but for tonight it's finished.

And, on the "Keep Maddie interested in World Showcase" front Cinderella909-Karen gave me a great idea! She made a 'passport' for her grand daughter to have in WS. I decided that I liked the idea so much that I made one of my own! Maddie is just becoming interested in other cultures and especially other languages (the other day she was asking me how to say a bunch of stuff in Spanish and I was really knocking it out of the park. Then she started asking how to say the same things in Japanese. I told her I know how to say goodbye in German and Russian, but she was not impressed. Frankly, she knows that I can only say goodbye in German because of Project Runway.)

Anyway, to capitalize on the fledgling interest in new cultures and languages plus take advantage of Maddie's love of games and competitions, we made our own passport. Ours includes a bit of a scavenger hunt type twist. There is a question that she has to ask a CM in each country, and if she gets all the answers (time permitting of course) we'll buy her the souvenir of her choice! (yeah, I know she's spoiled, but she feels like we say no alot. This should be a great incentive). Here's what we've come up with:

I'll share the files with anyone who wants them! It's just Powerpoint again!

We'll include a little packet of stickers, and after we've visited each country Mr. Geography aka Bryan will help Maddie locate that country on the world map.

I really hope that she likes it and that it makes World Showcase a bit more palatable for her this time around.

Well, that's all I've got for this week friends-Thanks for letting me share and have a great week!

My Target list is so random and I always end up buy stuff that isn't on the list....:confused3

I would love a copy of your powerpoint...I'm not that crafty but I think Peyton would love to do this!!

I Last week I mentioned the AG tent I was making, and I got that done. It was so easy, and Maddie is thrilled with it. We have plans to make a fire, marshmallows, and roasting sticks from clay to go along with it!
Impressive! :thumbsup2 That is going to make one heck of a nice AG camping set.

Great idea! That should really be a fun way for her to go through the WS and learn a little bit along the way. You might have a hard time slowing her down though. She might be ready to run off to the next country right away to work on that next question! :rotfl2:

Tournament:
Jiko: I'm just going to stick with my stubborn anti-GF attitude. And I really would like to try Jiko anyway.

Be Our Guest: Garden Grill is near the top of my list for character meals that I want to try, but it can't hang with Be Our Guest

Coral Reef: Nothing quite like seeing the menu swimming by your table.

Caseys: I've never really had much interest in getting hot dogs at the MK, but I kind of fell in love with this place last time. Good chili dogs and corn dog nuggets.:thumbsup2

The tent came out great. And I love Maddie's matching "graduation" dress.

What a wonderful idea for the Passport. Brilliant, absolutely brilliant!

The training spots I’ve seen/heard are:
-When you go out of the BACK of the old character spot, there are two pathways leading between WS by that really tiny bathroom on the Canada side, and the Land pavilion, I’ve seen Belle and Cindy over there say around, 9:30, 10am ish, it was early that’s for sure, especially since Belle starts her meets in France as soon as WS opens.

Then there’s the two HUGE doors between Canada and the UK where there’s a pin cart and a coffee stand, sometimes those doors will be opened up and there will be characters in there, I caught Cindy and Ariel around 3:30, four ish in November.

Then of course the International Gateway (the little path leading to the back entrance to Epcot)

AND finally the space between US and Italy is another training spot! And since you guys are there over summer, who knows if you’ll catch some Halloween characters in traiing!?

I’m choosing:

Jiko, love the African dishes!

Be Our Guest

Boma- again, Africa and ZEBRA DOMES!!

Caseys- gotta love those corn dog nuggets!

Oh my gosh, Maddie’s going to have an Alice dress?? ADORABLE! I’ve been searching for an Alice costume in the stores/parks for Lucy and just can’t find one anywhere but DLR, and I’m never there haha.

That’s a really good passport idea, it’d keep me entertained in WS that’s for sure. Tanessa and I played the “let’s get pictures with the best looking cast member from every country” game, and Tyler and I thought about drinking around the world, but it’s so pricey. Paige and I were going to color Duffy’s but got distracted by characters haha. I’ve thought about getting a little passport thing and doing something like that

I love your passport idea. We may have to do something like that for my niece on our trip this winter. :)

Ok on to picks for the week :)

I'm glad the graduation dress is officially done, along with the tent! YAY for an etsy shop soon---you know I keep thinking up new dresses and costumes, so I'm ready for it!!:cool1:

Yeah, about that Duffy WS thing--they will NOT be using the Sharpies. Just crayons I bring! And we will probably save lots of the coloring for later. We tried the passport once and it just didn't go over well. Who knows, maybe they'll be wonderful and not need something distracting:laughing:!

Love your idea for a personalized Passport! Maddie's looks great! I already have the regular Epcot one for Donovan but I'm definitely going to have to steal your idea of adding the stickers to a World Map. A little Geography lesson will help me feel less guilty about taking him out of school and hopefully help keep him interested in World Showcase. And thanks Katt789 for the heads up on those training areas! My girls would love to spot a princess or two! pixiedust:
