You Want to Stay Where?! A July PTR* TR LINK 8/8!

My tournament of food choices are for

California Grill because eating and watching Wishes top my list of my favorite things to do in WDW
Akershus for the same reason as before: princesses duh!
Ohana because we have an ADR here for September!!!
Flame Tree BBQ because it sounds yummy!

You guys are gonna love having Photopass plus! They're gonna mail you a voucher that's taped to the outside of a CD. That's the voucher you need to take with you. Then, the CD case has a CD of stock pictures which are nice and a pamphlet kinda deal that has your code to put in the Photopass site when you actually go to order your CD when you come back. You can trade the voucher in at any Photopass counter. We did ours at DTD. When you trade it in, they give you the red card on a lanyard with another little card listing the rides and character meals it's good for and they hole punch in the 2 week date.

One word of advice? Don't trust the landward. Our card fell off the lanyard a million times until one of the PP photographers in AK took out some tool and tightened the metal clasp on it. At the character meals, I presented the card to the photographer at the photo op and they put in on the card and then I guess made a note somewhere because the pictures were delivered to the table with no problem each time.

It's pretty awesome that Maddie wants to ride EE!

My ADR guesses are for Akershus, Chefs de France and Narcossees!

I might be too late here, but I would strongly encourage you NOT to tour in Toms (as adorable as they may be). I wore Toms on our last trip and I not only ruined the shoes, but my feet HURT!

You're welcome. :) After the ride you have to take note of your ride photo number. Then you go to the photopass counter for the ride, show your PP+ card, and they'll put it on for you. If you don't have the card with you, I think you have 24 hours to come back, but you need to come back to the specific ride and know your photo #.

Thanks again! I was totally clueless having never purchased the ride photos. Now I will be prepared! And I'm excited for us to have the ride photos this trip. :cool1:

Ok so my guessses are Chef Mickeys for breakfast, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall for a princess filled lunch (and salami) and Chefs De France for dinner.
The bracket guesses are signature- Yachtsman Steakhouse, character- Chef Mickeys, table service-Ohana, and counter service- Pizzafari.
*Just a little side note, I have an interview for a job I really want on Friday, so please send me a little pixiedust:, Thanks!

I never posted my guesses!!
Okay, let's go with arkershus, chefs de France, and narcoosses.

I'm joining in to vote!!

Signature/Celebrity Chef
California Grill

The Character/Dinner Show
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

Table Service
'Ohana (our fave!!)

Counter Service
Flame Tree BBQ (I'm a vegetarian but this is DH's fave!!)

I have been following along but things are so crazy I never have time to stop to respond! Okay, so I can stop long enough to get in on this one bracket wise!!

Signature: California Grill, not been but really want to!!

The Character/Dinner Show: Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, not a Chef Mickey's fan at all (food wise anyhow)

Table Service: 'Ohana, tough one since we love both!

Counter Service: Pizzafari, I know Flametree gets lots of love but we have yet to try it and i know Pizzafari is really good so I will cast a vote for it!

I know this wasn't directed for me, but some extra good thoughts can't hurt right?! Good luck with the interview!

And, now we're moving on the next round where the decisions are sure to get much harder.

1. California Grill vs. 8. Yachtsman Steakhouse

1. Chef Mickey vs. 8. Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

1. 'Ohana vs. 9. 50s Prime Time Cafe

1. Flame Tree BBQ vs. 8. Pizzafar

Indeed, it's getting much harder, but here are my picks...

California Grill
Chef Mickey (only as they have the Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Donald!)
Ohana
Flame Tree BBQ

It's been another crazy week sewing my little fingers off, but the graduation dress is looking awesome, and I hope to have photos to show off next week!

Here's the next clue for the Guess My ADR Game:

Can't wait to see pictures of your new outfits and the prom dress. Plans sounds good for AK. Here's my pick for day 5:

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall (for breakfast... salami!)
Chefs De France (Lunch with Remy)
Narcoossee's (a nice relaxing dinner after a busy day around the world)

Thursdays are sneaking up on me... but I think I have another week for this one, but my choices are made! :cheer2:

Karen

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall dinner
Chefs De France lunch

Ohana breakfast

I can't remember if we are supposed to guess which meal gets which restaurant...so I listed some guesses just in case. And if my guesses are correct...Good lord, that's a lot of food! =)

As for photo pass plus, I ordered it but it hasn't arrived yet. From the pictures I have seen in my May2013 facebook group, you get a disc with the stock pictures and the lanyard as well as some papers in the package from PP, and yes you have to go and turn in a voucher...I am not sure where you actually GO with the voucher, but I would assume that you can hand it in at any park (and I hope so, our first park this trip is Epcot..just for lunch and a quick visit with Mulan hopefully, but still I want to get it taken care of first thing so it's all set.

I meant to comment the other day about the flooding...that is a LOT of water. Holy cow. The town I grew up in is right where the Hudson and Mohawk Rivers meet (which, idk if people outside of upstate NY would have this vast river knowledge :thumbsup2 , but they are fairly large rivers and they tend to get higher in spring when everything melts, or you know..during Hurricanes, which my area was hit with Hurricane Irene). Anyway, so parts of my hometown have flooded over the years, and Irene caused the most recent flooding.
This is another town nearby..they had just awful damage. There are still people living in FEMA trailers in this town :(
Irene-Flooding-600x393.jpg

And this is my hometown:
ahh the photos aren't linkable to the dis but if you are interested this is a flikr w/ some pictures: http://www.flickr.com/photos/julie_frances/6106328931/in/photostream/
And this..
6175946388_0564e2c4bd_b.jpg

Floods can be so devastating, I hope everyone in your area can overcome it all rather quickly.

Wow! That's some damage! Luckily it seems that it was mostly the roadways that were hardest hit here, most neighborhoods are still intact. How sad that all those people experienced such devastation!

I'm glad we're all in the is PP+ thing together. I don't like not knowing what I'm doing!

Sometimes I swear we are twins.
I have the EXACT same questions about PP+, so I'm watching this thread for all the answers:thumbsup2.
We, too, are now booked at Tusker House, but for lunch.
And after lunch, we hope to leave AK, because like you, it's not our favorite park, and half day is enough for us.
Also like you, I would be fine with skipping the safari, but I think my kids might kill me.
Yes, I will keep saying awesome things about your sewing skills. Definite deal!

Here are my choices for the next round. Surprisingly, this one wasn't too tough for me:
Signature/Celebrity Chef region features:
California Grill--Still waiting on them to open up reservations for this for September.

The Character/Dinner Show round:
Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall--You remember the craziness that was Chef Mickey's our last trip?? So, yeah. Princesses all the way.

In the Table Service region:

'Ohana--Since I just wrote about our love and adoration for this place, it should come as no surprise!!

And finally the Counter Service round:
Pizzafari--because AIR CONDITIONING! AK is the hottest place on earth...tied with World Showcase in the afternoon.

My choices last round did not prove to be the popular ones, so maybe mine will win out this time!

That's too funny! I'm so glad that I'm not the only one. I just get bored there, and you're right AK and World Showcase are the two hottest places on the planet.

It is... Some stations tend to have longer lines than others. I think my sister was done eating before I ever even got back to the table with food. It just felt like we got a table, scattered, and then ate as we got our food. The line to pay was the worst part though. Incredibly slow.

I will give credit where it is due though. Part of the reason lines can back up at the food stations are because they will make it right there as you order it and make it the way you want it. I can't complain about the quality for a QS meal.

Tournament votes:

Yachtsman - I like the upset here. Would love to try CG sometime, but steak always beats sushi.

Chef Mickey - Sorry, just not that into the princesses and I like the CM buffet for both breakfast and dinner.

Ohana - Just because you get endless supplies of meat delivered to your table.

Flame Tree - There's nothing to discuss here.

ADR Guesses...

Dang, you did make your clue a little bit harder. I'm going to guess Akershus, Chefs de France and Narcoosees.

Sounds like Pepper Market needs some help. Too bad since it seems as though the food is good!

You're going to stop reading the PTR if Flame Tree loses aren't you?:lmao:

My pics for this round are :)

Yachtsman Steakhouse
Chef Mickey
'Ohana
Pizzafari

Thanks for playing!

Voting for California Grill, Chef Mickey's (if I was voting on waiters, I'd say Akershus for sure :upsidedow), 'Ohana, and Pizzafari. I'm gonna guess that you'll be in Epcot for two of the meals and then head over to a resort for dinner. So I'll guess Akershus breakfast (salami), Chefs de France, and Narcoossee's. I would guess 'Ohana, but my instinct is you won't have enough room for it after two other ADRs that day. We'll see!

I must have mentioned my love of salami? :rotfl: Thanks for playing Marissa!

And, now we're moving on the next round where the decisions are sure to get much harder.

Signature/Celebrity Chef region features:

1. California Grill vs. 8. Yachtsman Steakhouse

The Character/Dinner Show round finds

1. Chef Mickey vs. 8. Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

In the Table Service region

1. 'Ohana vs. 9. 50s Prime Time Cafe

And finally the Counter Service round is an Animal Kingdom counter service battle royale

1. Flame Tree BBQ vs. 8. Pizzafari

Remember to cast your vote for the restaurant that you like better, or the one that you'd most like to try. The best part about the Tournament of Food is that YOU pick the winners!

ok so I am late to the dance, but now I'm hooked and being an avid sports fan & fellow Chicagoan I have to get in on this.

My votes--all the top seeds prevail! Cali Grill, Chef Mickey, 'Ohana & Flame Tree BBQ

Thanks, Shannon this is fun!!

Hmmmm it's a little bit tougher this round. I'm going to guess Akeshus, Chefs de France and Narcoosees. You guys are going to be STUFFED!

Thanks for playing!

I can't wait to hear what everyone has to say about the PP+. We will be using it too and I am clueless...

Ugh, this week IS harder for the ADR guess game. Well since you'll be in Epcot, Akershus and Chefs De France are the easy choices. But.... are you doing Akershus as breakfast or lunch/dinner? Hmmm.... that makes the 3rd choice a little tricky. I think that I will go with Narcoossee's.

Here are my choices for the Tournament of Food:

Signature/Celebrity Chef
California Grill - We will be celebrating our 9th Wedding Anniversary on our trip and would LOVE to eat here that night. Being closed right now, they are not taking ADRs yet ...so we are crossing our fingers that it will reopen on time AND that we can get a reservation. We have Narcoossee's booked as a back-up. ... so we'll have to wait and see.

The Character/Dinner Show
Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

In the Table Service
'Ohana

Counter Service
Flame Tree BBQ

I'm excited to use PP+ this time around. I'm so excited to have the ride photos from Maddie's first time on Space Mountain and EE ;) It seems like a confusing start up process though.

Thanks for playing!

I choose:

Yachtsman: it sounds yummier, and hey, yacht club!

Akershus!: because in the perfect world every meal would be FULL of princesses!! And I’ve heard some bad things about CM, and hey, SALAMI!!

Is this Ohana for dinner?!? In that case, yes. Actually, in all cases, Ohana, it’s been a while since I’ve been there!

Pizzafari!! There’s nothing like Disney pizza!

Yay for pp plus, and be prepared for me to ask all the questions about it, I’m considering it for Sept, and by considering it I mean I am going to get it, lol, it just seems like a great idea!

YYYAAAAAAAAHHHH Maddie’s gonna do EE!! Brave one she is! I didn’t brave it til 22 lol. I won;’t throw things at you, I skip the safari with Paige and when I’m solo, we have a fantastic zoo here, so I’m not super into it, it gets kinda old, and without the “samba 1” plot line, and if you don’t have an enthusiastic driver, it lacks.

HOW COULD YOU NOT SEE FOTLK?!?!!?!?!? Friends off….JK. But seriously…high five Brian for me for keeping it in the plans! One of these days Imma be in it and you won’t be able to skip it!

I’m not at the bottom anymore?! Yay! Bahaha. I’mma say: Akershus (possibly for pre park breakfast?] followed by Chefs de France, and then……Narcooses!?

And don’t worry!! I won’t go out of my way, the HK audition isn’t until 6pm, so I’ll definitely be popping into MK that morning to see the princesses before then. I can definitely get a nice video from Cindy inviting Maddie if that works for you guys?! Feel free to facebook me!!

Thanks so much in advance for taking the time to help with the invite Katt! I can't say how much I appreciate it. Maddie is going to flip!

Of course we'd be at FoLK every single visit if you were dancing! And rest assured, my DH and DD will make me go. :rotfl:

I hope she doesn't chicken out at the last minute. I really think she'll like EE. She's most excited to try Space Mountain though. ??

To answer your questions about PP+, you can turn it in at any photo centre in any of the four parks or n DTD. It's marked on the park maps as a Kodak centre (at least it was when I used it in Oct). Just take the voucher in and they will give you your lanyard. In order to get the restaurant photos, just have you PP+ card ready when they bring the packages around and they will add the photo to the card as well as give you the package they printed.

Thank You!!! So they add the restaurant photos when they bring the package to us, not when the photo is taken right? I'm excited to have the ride and restaurant photos!

I'm glad you only had a little water in your basement. I know several people who lost all of their belongings in their basement. :(

I'm going with Yachtsman; we've never done California Grill, but just the thought of seeing sushi on someone's table turns my stomach

Definitely the Princess breakfast; I am not a fan of Chef Mickey's anymore

And I would go with Flame Tree Barbecue any day of the week...this is definitely a no brainer for me.

Your AK day plans sound great to me. See, I'm the opposite. AK has grown on me over the years and it is definitely my third favorite, and sometimes it even tops Epcot (the Studios is my least favorite park and if it weren't for TOT and TSM, I'd skip it altogether).

I appreciate the theme of AK, but I can't love it. I always feel like I'm missing something when I read about how much everyone else loves it. :rotfl:

Signature/Celebrity Chef region features:

1. California grill

The Character/Dinner Show round finds

1. Chef Mickey

In the Table Service region

50s Prime Time Cafe

And finally the Counter Service round is an Animal Kingdom counter service battle royale

1. Flame Tree BBQ

Thanks for voting!

My picks are:

Royal Banquet Hall

Chefs De France

Narcoossee's

Thanks for playing!

No, I'm not planning a TR. Nobody would want to read it (and frankly I'd like to forget much of it), as the trip was nothing short of a nightmare! My 84 year old grandfather was with us (not by choice, but none of my aunts/uncles stepped up to care for him so my parents could enjoy themselves) and he basically made every day extremely stressful (disappearing, falling, running people over with the scooter, ending up getting so sick my mom left early to bring him home to Boston and he's been in the hospital since).

I did have some wonderful times with DH and our kids. It was DD's first trip and DS's first time on all of the "big kid" rides and he LOVED every one except Space Mountain. So, my memories of the trip, though clouded with the grandfather issues, will be of my daughter dancing at the Disney Junior show and picking up as many "gold dubloons" that she could find, being in awe at IASW and her splashing in the pool, and the "woohoos" & "can we do this again" as my son enjoyed his first drops of ToT and Splash Mountain, and the giggles around the bends of BTMRR.

Thank you for doing this PTR and in advance for your TR. I LOVE reading about Disney vacations. I always get new ideas, and living vicariously through others helps me get that Disney fix until my next trip.

Oh no! I am so sorry that you had such a stressful vacation. I hope that you grandfather is doing ok!

I'm glad that you have some great memories to hold on to though. They'll hold you over until next trip when you get a do over. Sounds like you've earned it. :grouphug:

Okay...here are my votes for this round.

1. California Grill

1. Chef Mickey (while not always satisfied with the food...you can't beat the characters)

1. 'Ohana

1. Flame Tree BBQ

Now, for the "Guess my ADR" game, I'm going with Akershus, Chefs de France, and Ohana.

Thanks for voting!

For Photopass, yes you will get a voucher, which you can then exchange at any photopass kiosk for the PP+ card. It's the place where you can go look at your Photopass pictures and get them printed. I think they are often close to the entrance of the park, whichever park. I believe we got ours at AK. The actual card is red and already on a lanyard. You can see it in some of my pictures, that's what Peanut was munching on most of the time when I was holding her. :rotfl:

The ADR game is harder this week. I hope I don't lose my first place position!
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
Chefs De France
Narcoossee's

Signature/Celebrity Chef
California Grill (this one is a no-brainer)

Character/Dinner Show
Chef Mickey (this one was harder. In fact, I had started to write my explanation about why I chose Akershus, only to go back and change my vote. The food appeals to me more at Chef Mickey, I like the monorail going through, and right now Mickey and the gang are Claudia's favorites)

Table Service
50s Prime Time Cafe (this one was hard too, but I prefer Kona to Ohana for the Polynesian experience, and I think Prime Time looks like so much fun)

Counter Service
Pizzafari (I know that Ron loves Flame Tree, but personally I've been disappointed with the food both times I've tried it. I'm sure it's good, I'm just too picky. For that, and for the beautiful murals, I picked Pizzafari)

Thanks for the info Mel! I know I'll want to get the voucher redeemed right away, and MK will be our first park. Are you glad that you got the + option?

Thanks for voting! I won't tell Ron that you picked Pizzafari. ;)

For the tournament of dining:

Cali Grill, Akershus, Ohana, Flame Tree

Your AK plans sound great! :goodvibes My guesses for your Epcot day:

Akershus, Chefs, Ohana

Thanks for playing Sarah!

Oops...I must have missed the clues for the ADR game last time. :confused3
Anyway, I'm back now!
I think you'll be hitting up Akershus for breakfast, Chefs for lunch, and Narcoosees for dinner.

And for the bracket, I'm going with:
Signature: California Grill
Character: Chef Mickey's. I know there are a lot of complaints about the food going downhill, but to me it just IS Disney.
Table Service: Ohana. It's just a lot of fun
Counter Service: Pizzafari. I'm probably in the minority here, but I like it!

Thanks for playing!!

Loving your plans!! :thumbsup2

My ADR guesses are
Akershus, Chefs de France and Narcoossees!

ToT:
Cali Grill, they both are great but I'm going CG, the view, the food can't beat it! I'm so bummed it will be closed for refurb while we are there!

Chef Mickeys, again both great in my opinion, buttheres just something about the original characters that make me love it.

O'hana, yup love it!

Flame Tree BBQ, again I like both but the food at FTB is better! :goodvibes

We are sooo bummed that Cali Grill will be closed when we're there. It's a definite for the next trip.

Thanks for playing!

Your Animal Kingdom plans sound great. :thumbsup2

Glad you asked those PP+ questions, and glad some of these nice folks answered! I'm wondering though - if we are entering the park pre-opening for an early ADR or BBB on our first day, do I need to pick up the card/lanyard on the way in (will they be open?)? If I don't and we get PP pictures on our way to the castle (which we WILL), do I somehow have to switch those to the PP+ account at some point? Wow - I have no idea about this stuff! I need to just order the dang thing and wait for them to send me the info, I guess. :rotfl:

Thanks Roni! We'll have this + thing figured out in no time!

You can take all the photopass pictures you want, with as many different photopass cards as you want. You just have to enter all the photopass cards numbers into your account at the end. You really only need the real PP+ card for ride photos, and when the photo is included with the meal. I'm not sure about BBB though, you might need it. I know for ride photos you have up to 24 (or is that 48) hours to go back and get it, as long as you know the number. I don't know if BBB would work the same.

Thanks Mel! Great info!

OK, let's do this thing! :rotfl:

The food....

California Grill
Chef Mickey
'Ohana
Flame Tree BBQ

ADRs
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
Chefs De France
Narcoossee's

That's a LOT of food right there!

Your AK plans sound really good! Hooray for Maddie riding EE...a daredevil in the making!

If you think she might be creeped out by the "crawling" bugs in her seat or the stinging sensation during ITTBAB, have her sit on someone's lap.

Take your PP+ voucher to the photo center in any of the parks. They will give you the PP+ card and a lanyard. For the question about PP+ and early park entry...you can get a regular PP card from the photographer and have the pictures transferred over to the PP+ card when you pick it up. That's what we did.

Great tip about ITTBAB! I'm shocked that she wants to try it! I hope she gets on EE. I really think she'd love it.

Thank you! We're excited to try +!

Thank you!!!! BBB photos have been on my "normal" PP card in the past, so I'm guessing that will work just fine. Awesome - thanks!

Oh, with the ride photos, what do you have to do to ensure that they actually end up on your PP+ card? I have never purchased the ride photos (but am excited to have them included on PP+), so I am kind of (okay, VERY) clueless! ;)

me too. :rotfl:

You're welcome. :) After the ride you have to take note of your ride photo number. Then you go to the photopass counter for the ride, show your PP+ card, and they'll put it on for you. If you don't have the card with you, I think you have 24 hours to come back, but you need to come back to the specific ride and know your photo #.

Thanks again! You rock Mel!

Thanks Courtney! I really appreciate the info! I wanted to keep an eye out for a Disney or Cubs lanyard anyway, so maybe I'll buy a back up before the trip.

I might be too late here, but I would strongly encourage you NOT to tour in Toms (as adorable as they may be). I wore Toms on our last trip and I not only ruined the shoes, but my feet HURT!

Oh no! Thanks for the tip! I did buy us some, and we've been wearing them some this spring. Maddie already got a little blister after a trip to the mall in them. We may be in Crocs the whole time (and the Toms are waaaaayyy cuter ;))

Lots and lots of pixie dust coming your way!!! Good luck! Let us know how it goes!

Thanks for playing! You know I gotta have my salami!

I never posted my guesses!!

Ok guys, it's (very) late Thursday night so you know what that means!! It's Tournament of Food time!!!

Last week we started the second round of our tournament with the #1 seeds facing off against some scrappy underdogs. Let's see how it turned out!

Signature/Celebrity Chef

This region pitted 1. California Grill vs. 8. Yachtsman Steakhouse, and the refurbbing Cali Grill pulled off the win.

In the Character Meal/Dinner Show region 1. Chef Mickey faced off against the ladies of 8. Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. When the dust settled, the Mouse had topped the competition.

The Table Service Region saw 1. 'Ohana and it's skewers of meat matching up against 9. 50s Prime Time Cafe. And, the winner is....

And finally in the most closely contested match-up of this round the Counter Service Region featured an Animal Kingdom battle royale 1. Flame Tree BBQ vs. 8. Pizzafari. The winner by a whisker was

Here's how the bracket looks now:

This week's match-ups are:

Signature/Celebrity Chef

2. Le Cellier Steakhouse vs. 7. Hollywood Brown Derby

Character/Dinner Show

2. Crystal Place vs. 7. Tusker House

Table Service

2. Via Napoli vs. 7. Kona Cafe

Counter Service

2. Be Our Guest vs. 10. Wolfgang Puck Express

Remember to vote (by next Thursday) for the restaurant that you've most enjoyed in the past, or the one that you'd most like to try!

Hi Shannon,
Thanks for the well-wishes for my grandfather. He is doing better finally. Here are my votes for this week's match-ups:

Hollywood Brown Derby

Crystal Place ~ we did both CP and TH last trip and CP is still on top of our list. I'm still a little bitter that Donald doesn't do autographs there.

Kona Café~ another family favorite

Be Our Guest

Well, I finally have another (tiny) sewing update ready for you. I've been working on this graduation dress for weeks. It's not a difficult dress, but fitting it on the recipient, then driving it home and sewing wasn't working. After 3 failed attempts at getting the fit correct (and recutting the whole darn thing) I finally wised up an asked the young lady to come over so that I could fit and sew in one place.

I am very, very pleased to announce that it now fits!!! I still have to do the finishes, but the hard part is over.

Once it's well and truly done I'll share some more pics. This week I'll be finishing that up, and making the coordinating skirt for Maddie.

This week the new American Girl catalog arrived in the mail. Maddie has spent every day pouring over it and creating a wish list (basically everything in it). Since those prices can be a little scary, I decided to try my hand at making some more AG stuff. I'm in the process of making a sleeping bag and tent. The best part? The AG set costs upward of $200, but mine will cost about $10! I had most of the materials and fabrics on hand, so all I'm really buying is some foam core!

Bryan and are have also been working on getting a countdown calendar ready to go. I'd share, but we're making it in PowerPoint, and I can't seem to take a screenshot of a slide :confused3 So, maybe next week we'll have that ready to share as well!

So maybe I didn't have as much to share as I thought :lmao: I promise I'll do better! And, I'm feeling very optimistic that I'll be able to get an Etsy shop up and running before we leave for WDW. I have some ideas that I think will be very cute!

Have a great weekend everyone!

I somehow missed votes in the tournament this week. I love the dress you made though and am waiting for that Etsy Shop. Cannot wait to see Maddie's skirt. So happy that you are getting near countdown calendar time.

Shannon,

Your are an amazing seamstress, I wish I could do it. I keep saying I'm going to make AG princess dresses for my DD but still haven't found the courage. We will be in WDW for a few days at the same time. :cool1: Hope the plans are coming together nicely. Love reading the trip report!

You're going to stop reading the PTR if Flame Tree loses aren't you?:lmao:
Well, thankfully we didn't have to find out, but I was about ready to leave if Whispering Canyon would have lost in the first round. :rotfl2::lmao::rotfl:

Wow... It is certainly a good thing that you have some impressive sewing skills. Maddie's fashion sense for both herself and her dolls could get very expensive otherwise. :lmao:

Tournament votes

Le Cellier - Just so good. I even liked the mushroom risoto and I don't like mushroom risotto.

Crystal Palace - Tough vote. I like everything I've seen about Tusker, but just haven't worked it into our schedule yet. I've really enjoyed past experiences at CP though. One of my favorite buffets on property.

Via Napoli - Best. Pizza. Ever.

Be Our Guest - Wow... this is actually kind of close. Both have fantastic food and are a great QS credit value. I'll give the edge to BOG because it doesn't require a trip to DTD and the decor is so immersive.
