Okay..... so I've mentioned before how the weather was like..... here is our day at Epcot in pictures. The day is 9/5, Sunday the day before Labor Day.....

When we get there around 10am it looks like this:

There is no way you could have laughed as loud or long as his sister. First she laughed at him for wearing a Disney shirt.... then she laughed at him hugging the characters.... then she saw that picture with Lotso and I think she was about to fall on the floor laughing.

Thanks. Purple is my favorite color of the moment. It changes frequently. Let's see its been hot pink, blue, green, sparkly. I like things that are shiny.

So I've been talking to a couple of my friends about maybe going to Disney next year.... BF will be going to Bulgaria so we won't be taking any trips together next year. I'm thinking late October so I can do Food & Wine and MNNSHP. Plus it'll be my half-birthday (with my family we count half birthdays and with me we also count the day I was adopted because it was sort of being born into my family) time.

So we were talking about maybe doing the one night premium plan or getting a group together to do some sort of challenge. Like who can find the most hidden mickeys or a character scavenger hunt to get the most photos and signatures. So it wouldn't all be about being a park commando.... and I reallly really really want an annual pass so I can go a couple of times to visit my friends that live down there. Am I crazy?

I would have to say, NO! Course, for what it is worth...I just may be a bit crazy myself. If I could swing it I would go to WDW more than I do.

Thats what your group would need...me and my craziness. Seriously though, do you ever think that some of the best travel companions to WDW would be Dis members? I know that I could avoid a lot of the "disney again?!?" comments.

All that being said... next time I go if I can arrange it, I am definitely doing a dis meet! I can just see it now....my dh and the look of relief on his face when I head out and say..."oh no, hun..don't worry...you don't have to go to the park to do x with me. I have a friend meeting me there so you don't have to go " Oh, he isn't that bad... he just would be as happy staying in the hotel and watching tv as he would be going to the park. Our last trip together I took Zoe alone many times just so I didn't have to bother the guys.

You might look normal with my group, Its me, a former CM, a friend who lives in Seattle, and someone from Kentucky as of right now. And you kind of fit age wise we'll be 32 - 34 (?) Maybe 35? and you look 22!

Also, thanks for the Croc store text! Every time I walk by there I am reminded of our brand new shoes riding around a taxi in Boston all by themselves.

So I made it through apple picking/corn maze weekend, Head of the Charles, and Halloween. And now I'm sick! So hopefully by this weekend and lot of soup and sleep, I'll be able to share photos from this fall, the last of the PP photos and finish this TR since I left off being in the airport it shouldn't take too much longer.

As I left off,we just arrived at 4:15pm for our 6:15pm flight and I changed into jeans.... yes I know I've been dragging this update a bit. We headed up the escalators and towards the security check points when we see a Brookstone and BF is all about lounging in the massaging chair. He then starts chatting up the sales manager about how much the chair is, all the benefits of the chair, is there are ever discounts, etc. All while I'm panicking that the security line is going to take us an hour to go through and we're going to have issues and miss our flight. So I pressure BF to let's go!

We get to the main area and check our flight status and see it was delayed two hours! Well now what are we going to do! Its 4pm and now we aren't leaving until 8pm. We browse the shops a bit until I get uneasy again thinking we still haven't been through security and what if they put our flight back to when we were suppose to leave?!? This makes BF very grumpy but eventually we head through security for the long long line that takes us approximately 5 minutes to get through.

We head to the gate and get ready to sit for two hours. BF is not happy about sitting at the gate for two hours. I get ready to people watch. There is a lady across from us who once in awhile three kids run over to her. One kid is doing cartwheels barefoot between the aisles. One is snacking and watching a video. And the last is a boy about 10 or 11 with a cross body WDW bag keeping his gaming device neat and organized. I start talking to the lady across the way and find out the one watching the video is hers and starting kindergarten in the morning. At this point the boy gets up walks to the person who is his mom holding himself ala Michael Jackson telling her he really needs the bathroom. Mom looks at Dad and tells him to take the boy to the bathroom. Dad sits there to the point the boy is fine I"ll just go by myself, then Dad gets up and takes him. Lady across the way and I just exchange glances.

I go up to the counter to find out why the gate is so late. I'm told our plane is coming from Buffalo and was delayed coming out. Okay reasonable enough. We load on the plane and the crew decides to tell us our plane we were suppose to take was stuck in Puerto Rico because it hit a bird, so they had to find us a new plane. Oh great now I feel safe! We get home safely, but now its 11pm at night instead of the 9pm at night. We once again wait for everyone unload before getting up, walking to the front I see the lady from the seat across from me when we were waiting and she's holding her sleeping child. I stop and offer to help her off the plane. No thanks I have to wake her to get her into the stroller.

We make a quick stop in the bathroom. We head down for luggage pick up and I mention to BF if we see her down here, we should offer to help her with her luggage. She's by herself with a sleeping kid. BF (still a litte grumpy) says no way. I'm suppose to help someone out. I just tell him, what happens if it was me with a kid, I would love someone to help out. BF goes and gets our luggage, comes back and says I'm going to help her okay. They make a stop by me and she asks if its really okay that BF helps her bring the luggage to where her friend is waiting. No problem, I hope someone in the future does the same for me. I think the Disney kindness was starting to wear off on BF.

He comes back, we grab a cab, get home, feed the cats, go to sleep, and I wake up 6 hours later to go back to work.

Now I'm planning October 2011!

The end -- very sad! But nice of you and your BF! Do any flights ever leave Orlando on time? I've got to go finish report cards for my students -- more later!

Our flight really was delayed as well. It's a LONG wait. Especially for a little kid who has school in the morning. ESPECIALLY when it's the first day of school ever! That is so crazy!

Sounds like some entertaining people watching.

It was nice of you to help that lady out. I'm sure she really appreciated it!

So sad your trip is over. But now you can get busy planning the next one!
