You mean I don't have to cringe everytime a WDW ad comes on TV? I'm going??

This is my first real PTR!!! And it’s my first REAL solo trip! I did Fall CP way back in 2006 so I’ve wandered around WDW before but this is the first time I get to fly in by myself and stay at a resort and eat….lets just say I’m thrilled!
First, let’s introduce you to the characters- well really there’s just me, but here’s me and my husband Ivan on our wedding day- 10/23/09. We actually honeymooned in WDW but Ivan wasn’t too impressed- for those that might remember, that was the year it was EXTREMELY muggy and hot, more than it had been before.

This trip was my early birthday gift to myself. We are hoping to get pregnant soon and I knew it would be a long time before we could afford to go back( not to mention WDW with babies is not my idea of fun- I’m a little bit Commando. So, before you could say “Kidnap Sandy Claws” I had booked my trip- 9/12 thru 9/18 at Pop Century.
It isn’t my first time at Pop, we stayed there on our honeymoon. Believe me, I would like to try other resorts but Pop is nice and I’m a big DDDP fan so I’d rather spend the money on that. Speaking of, DH and I are chefs! He works as a Sous Chef and I am Chef at a preschool.
I'm planning to make this trip my big hurrah! I will hit all the rides I can, stay out, get up, see fireworks( which I've never seen), watch parades and meet characters. Oh, and I have a date with the WS to drink around the world
I promise there will be pictures. And sarcasm. And hopefully something entertaining. I will update this as often as possible with the pre plans. In fact, here are my tentitive ADRs:

9/12

Arrive on Delta around 12PM
Check in to Pop
Hit DTD
CS at either WPuck Express or Earl of Sandwich( I haven't eaten at either place before but can't wait!)
ADR at Ragland Road at 5:15- I LOVE RR. This will be my third time there and I can't wait to taste that bread pudding!

9/13- Magic Kingdom

ADR at Crystal Palace at 8:30 AM- Never been here, another that was on the list and I can't wait to enjoy yummy breakfast and MK on my first full park day. I tend to save MK til the middle of my trips but wanted to do things different this time.

QS lunch
Rest in the Room/Clean up
ADR California Grill at 5:35
Maybe Wishes??

9/14- DHS

ADR Cape May at 9:05- I used to work her during CP so I thought it was fair to come back and check it out
QS lunch
ADR at Sci Fi at 4:45- love the way this place just sucks you into the feeling- this will be my third or fourth time eating here

9/15- Epcot AKA Drink the WS

Breakfast at the hotel
Cava del Tequila and other beverages!!!
Lunch at Morocco or Sunshine Seasons
Resort to rest??
ADR Coral Reef at 8:10- was going to do this place on my honeymoon but...DH and I had a fight and ended up back in the room pouting...( yes, I know we were lame)

9/16- DAK

ADR at Tusker House- did this on honeymoon and I loved the characters( see proof below) and the food, so I'm gonna do it again

Back to the room to rest
ADR at Jiko for 7:30- Can't wait for this one, since I'm a big food lover!


9/17- Free Day

It's my last full day so I'm going to relax and see where I end up. Only thing I have planned is:
ADR at Kona at 7:45 PM- Another new one I can't wait to try!


So I know, I'm going a little nuts, and I'm sure I'll be tired when I get home but hopefully you guys will be along for the ride

So, I realized that I didn't really give you that much info about me. In that case- I'm a libra, I like sunsets and walks on the beach with kittens.


JK. Well....kinda. First of all, my name is Ariane. And as you can see from my last post, I am a tattoo addict- hence the name. Course, I am a broke tattoo addict which means its been awhile.. I don't have any Disney ones but would at least like something simple to show how much I love WDW.
My first trip to WDW was for my fifth birthday. I don't remember all of it but the parts I do( along with the pictures) show how I fell in love. I went back a few times through the years and then, as I said before I did the Fall CP in 2006. It wasn't really the best place to work but being able to wander the parks all day on my days off made it worth it. It was this that made me realize I could totally do a solo trip. And at WDW you're never really alone anyways.
Now for a few favorites:

Princess- Ariel. Followed closely by Belle and Jasmine
Park- Tough....but I think MK
Ride- Too many to count but I think Haunted Mansion would win
Character- Chip and Dale and Donald. I swear I could be Donald...we have so much in common.

As for the trip, here's a secret- I booked it before I got the days off at work !!! But I had a feeling it would work out. Luckily my boss can be really good about giving me time off- I'm salary and I work hard and have never called in sick! So I think I deserve a little time off right?

Alright, that's it for today- maybe tomorrow I will tell you all about more trip stuff....or just clog up my thread with my own nonsense........yeah...more like the latter. To leave you wanting more (or not) here are a few more honeymoon pics:

Hello again! Just wanted to put a quick update here to say that I decided to get a MNSSHP ticket afterall. I mean, if you are going to do WDW full tilt, why not go right? So I'll be at the first party 9/13. I will just take the monorail over after dinner and voila

Also, I am hoping to tweet from the parks when I can. My name is @LaMuertaDeLaCruz so if you feel like following me, then go for it.

I'm also trying to come up with a list of things to pack/things I need to buy. I know I want a few new Disney shirts to wear and I think I'll need a new pair of comfy shorts....but maybe I'll wait a month or so and I can sqeeze into a smaller size Yeah....most likely not, but a girl can dream!

Well it's hit me already- I blame the food porn threads- some of my ADRs seem a little silly. Like although I like Ragland Road, do I really want to go back there again? I mean there has to be something better that would at least be new to me. Although at the same time, I don't want to rush looking around DTD. I figured I'd eat lunch, dinner later and then have a sundae....hm.
OK I did it. I cancelled Ragland Road and switched to Fulton's. I know I went on about loving RR's bread pudding but when I sat and stared at the menu, there wasn't anything that I REALLY wanted. And lets face it, half of it my husband and I could make here at home. Now Fulton's- I went here once with my mom and loved it. And I can't EVER afford crab and lobster in my "real life" so while I debated about leaving DTD and going somewhere else, Fulton's won out in the long run for convience.
Don't think I'll be canceling anything else *crosses fingers* but I'll let you know if I do. Now, off to come up with MNSSHP costume ideas....

Well I know I've been a bad bad PTR writer but work and life has had me busy...but not too busy to notice I'm at 2 months!!!!!! 2 months from today and I will be sitting down at Fulton's Crab House for dinner after walking around DTD for a few hours...


I am having a little procedure done this thursday taht should help with all thr walking around. And I'm also looking at some new flip flops. I love mine but they aren't the ones with support and I know I'll be needing some. In the next month I want to go to our Disney Outlet to get some new shirts for the trip and maybe a few other things. I don't really need a bag( but I'm sure I'll look)- I have a RNRC guitar wristlet that I used on our honeymoon trip. it's the perfect size for KTTW and a camera- thats all I need in WDW.

OK. Here's some of the stuff I've gotten- all I need now are the new flip flops...and to get a new pair of shorts.

First, a pair of flip flops I've worn twice...and now am saving for WDW. Love the silver sparkles

Next, new shirt #1 I love the red...even if Snow White isn't my favorite

Another new shirt...I know again, Snow White. But hey, I like the Evil Queen
