You know you've had enough of the cold weather when...

the thought of walking the dog is worse than the thought of him having an "accident" in the house.

Your turn!

I am right with you. It was 7 when I left the house today! So glad all I have to do for the dog is open the back door.

You wake up in the middle of the night, it is 7 degrees outside, and only 51 degrees inside. SPRING PLEASE!!!!!

Your kids leave their gloves in the garage after sledding and when you discover them they are frozen solid:rotfl:

When you have to wear a winter coat into the basement to do laundry even though the house reads 73 degrees.

I love the snow but could do without the actual cold part:upsidedow

You start pricing houses in Melbourne, FL (where your fiance's company has a branch he could easily transfer to...)

You wake up in the middle of the night to the cat's butt right next to your face but you don't move her because it's body heat.

:thumbsup2

I'm sick of the cold when I purposely avoid marking things on my calendar so I don't have to leave my house!

When you look like you have a weird skin disease because the cold has dried out your skin to where you cannot walk anywhere, inside or out, without stopping to itch, and no amount of moisturizer can stop the peeling of skin from your face. And when your husband thinks "something happened" to you because your cheeks are so discolored and blotchy from the cold dry air.

And you secretly hate your coworker who is actually very nice, all because she has remote start on her car and you watch her with envy as she points and clicks before leaving work!!

When you reach into the depths of the freezer to find something that passes as dinner, just so you can avoid going out to the grocery store today.

This is so true!:rotfl:

It's -30C here right now, not sure what that is in F but oh my goodness is it ever cold out there. When I take the dog out it the cold air makes my skin sting. I am so ready for summer.

you get scared that you might slip and fall on the ice and the snow packed snow..

someone in my family has done this they heated up the toliet seat with a hair dryer.(I KNOW to much info).

in the morning you warm the clothes up in the dryer..

You know it's THAT cold when you turn on the cold water tap and it actually feels warm!!!! :cold: :lmao:

That is equal to -22 F-burrr.

I had a water bottle in my car that was parked in our garage. Our garage is insulated so it stays about 40 in there in the winter. I went to pick up my DD from school on Fri when it was -17 here. By the time I drove the 2 miles to school (before the car warmed up) the water bottle was slush.

I gave my dog permission to pee on the deck.

When you think someone has fired shots at your house but quickly realize it's just the house "cracking" from the incredible cold.

You're outside....inhale through your nose.....your nostrils freeze shut for an instant.

Our dog loves it when there is fresh snow so she can pee on the deck :lmao:. She is little and we have to shovel part of the yard so she doesn't sink into the snow.

I remember being up in northern MN and the sap in the pine trees cracking-it does sound like gunshots. We were visiting my Grandpa several years ago and the AIR TEMP was -45, wind chill was in the -70 range-that is a different kind of cold :scared1:

You are excited because it is above 20 today...it has been a LONG week of single digits

Bunch of wimps. Friday at dinner time, it was 14 F. What did we have for dinner? Steak on the grill.

Yesterday it was 12 F at dinner time. For dinner? Slapped some ham slices out on the grill.

It's only been negative in the early mornings. By afternoon, it's nice and warm out at 12-15F. Perfect weather to fire up the grill out on the back porch.
