hi, this is a thread where you state 2 minimum reasons why you are a disney fan.
here are the rules:

i will go first
i am a disney fan because........
1) when i used to work everyone who was planning to go to disney always asked me what to do and stay at disney
2) i had a disney wedding with characters
3) at christmas around the christmas tree we have a monorail system running
4) we have disney kitchen wear at our house
5) we have a disney decorations around the house
6) we have hidden mickeys around our house
7) you have every tv featurette on disney cruise line and disneyworld ever aired taped on your tivo
8) you are so excited to plan your trip once you get home!

It's 8:00pm on a Sat night and I'm on the Dis at home alone.

I have 3 trips booked right now and I'm not a FL resident.

One look at the TINK ROOM in my sig and you will see it rubbed off on DD as well.I was just in playing with the trains and monorail as I have the entire house to myself.

Dancer, your reasons sound perfectly logical to me. Here's a few of mine -

1. Almost every conversation I have always ends up on a Disney-related topic
2. I day-dream about WDW during important meetings at work
3. I dream of working for Disney every day
4. Before I make a decision, I frequently think "What would Walt do?"
5. I'm on the Dis boards every day

There's lots more, but I don't want to scare myself.....

Im a disney fan because...

1. my room has been recently been transformed to a disney shrine. (Disney paint, tinkerbell bedding, all my disney collectables.)

2. i believe that im a disney princess (dont laugh at me)

3. Im on the disboards everyday

4. what other 19 year olds do u know that have gone to disney by themselves and are planning to go again for their birthday...

5. Everyday has at least one conversation about disney

6. Im dreaming/planning my disney dream wedding when theres not even a boyfriend in the picture hahaha

I know I am a huge Disney fan:

When I seen the first metro bus and thought of a disney bus and would like them to transport me to any 4 of the parks ( we just got back from the world this past tuesday)
Already have next year's trip booked for September even before I left on this year's trip.
Just snuck in a short 4 day trip for my younger son and I in mid- December, hey I couldn't pass up on the great deal that ends today, could I??

1. I'm also sitting at home, on a Saturday night, Dis'ing in my Mickey Mouse sweatshirt, my Mickey Mouse slippers.

2. I have 3 Disney blankets I use, a Mickey Mouse one, a Grumpy one, and another one that has my name monogrammed on it next to a Mickey Mouse (a gift from my son for Mothers day)

3. My son & husband are also Disney addicts and DISboard members.

4. We probably spend enough money on Disney souvenirs each time we go, to feed a small country.

5. In the past year, my husband has purchased the following from the Disney shopping website. Two Mickey Mouse ears carpets, one of them is in our dining room. A Mickey Mouse door knocker, mailbox, welcome mat. Two Mickey and Minnie lamps for our nightstands. He painted the bedroom "Disney Blue" with white trim. He is buying Disney cells and artwork and they are framed and hanging on our walls. A Mickey Mouse statue for our front yard, two tinkerbell hanging lanterns, Mickey Mouse terracotta votive candle holders. A Mickey and Pluto dog treat jar. A Mickey Mouse ears dog collar. (Is anyone else's husband this obsessed?? lol)

6. We honeymooned at Disney World.

7. I stalk the Travel Channel looking for shows about Disney World.

8. I created a Disney video with Disney park music and pictures of our vacation.

Ok now that I just read everything I wrote, only one phrase comes to mind...My goodness, we need help!

1) I covered my school id photo with a picture of of Mickey Mouse.

2) I always plan at least 3 vacations to look forward to, or I get withdrawl pains.

3) I have Eeyores stuffed in every corner of my bedroom.

4) I have Disney underwear, socks, shirts, coffee cups, placemats, plates, tablecloths, bedspreads, etc. everywhere.

5) I bore people (even complete strangers) with Disney conversation. I do not discriminate who I bore.

6) I get happy feet the moment we arrive.

7) I think it is the most romantic and family-oriented place to be.

8) Disney is my "happy place." I don't even really mind that we have spent so much money there, my kids may not be able to go to college.

9) I named many pets after Disney characters (Figment, Stitch, Sulley, Simba,etc.).

10) I am such a huge fan, my boys were named after Disney characters, though they were named before the movies came out. I must have been psychic.

I know I am a disney fan because:

1) I feel like my fellow DISer's are the only ones who "truly understand" me!
2) When I found out that the new vacation planning guide was available I started jumping up and down!
3) I am putting off having children because I'm afraid we won't have the money for our trips (selfish I know )
4) I just ordered 3 things on ebay and they are all Disney-related!

1. You read about Pal Mickey and start buying him clothes before you even buy him at Disney.

2. You take pictures of your Pal Mickey at Disney World and then send him travellin around the country to meet other friends from the DISboards but making sure he comes home for special events so he can attend them with you.

3. You are planning your trip in March when you haven't even went on your December trip.

4. You read the DISboards daily to make sure you don't miss anything.

5. You watch the Disney planning DVD over & over just to see your happy place.

6. You order the new Disney planning DVD as soon as you hear it is out.

That is great, me too! Here are a couple for me:

1. I was playing ambient music from Epcot when my eight year old told me EXACTLY where that music can be heard in the park. (I was shocked! awesome!....I was so proud.)

2. Not a week goes by without us watching home movies from our Disney vacations or as my two year old would ask...."Dad, I wanna watch tapes!"

3. I have a AAA membership for the Disney discounts and the traditional road service that they offer is more of an added bonus.

4. My MP3 player doesn't have any music on it, only Disney podcasts!

1) I honeymooned at Disney as well as spent my 10th anniversary there (many trips in between but all with kids!)

2) My family and I (including my 9y/o) are known as the the go-to people for our neighborhood, school, work when people are planning their WDW vacations.

3) I have given out the DIS web address to strangers in the grocery checkout line when their kids mentioned their Disney trip.

4) I have owned my own Mickey waffler for 12 years and there shall be no other waffles in my home.

5) We listen to music from the theme parks (via internet) during family dinners.

6) I listen to a Pal Mickey joke every morning.

7) I am devising elaborate plans to have my ashes secretly and strategically spread all over WDW when my time is up.

1) ...It's 2 am. I just got home from my homecoming dance and after party. I can hardly stay awake but will not leave the DIS and listening to Disney ride music.

2) ...You celebrate Disney Friday. Every Friday. Every Friday, I watch the WDW Vacation Planning DVD (6-8 weeks minus 7 days until the new one comes! I suppose that would make it 5-7 weeks now!), the Boy Meets World Episode set in Disney, the Roseanne episode in Disney, then a Disney animated classic. I lead a very pathetic life for a teenage girl.

Those are mine for the day until I can think of any more!

2.) You are standing in line paying at Claire's and spy a pen that writes 10 different colors--first thought "Wouldn't the characters enjoy signing autographs with that!".

then from 5 minutes ago:

3.) You entice DD5 to go back to bed so you can stay on the DIS!

i think we all need help!
i am adding some more reasons because i just thought of them.
1)miley's under construction nursery is fairytale disney with tink and cinderella.
2)you stalk the travel channel and food network for shows on disney.
3)you got your supply's for a puppy named lexi from disney stores and magazines.
4)you paid your parents all your allowance so that they could get reservations to sail on the disney cruise line's ship the magic for it's first time! (which we did when i was 16)
5)you are already planning miley's second trip to disney and her first time on the disney cruise when she is 4.
6)you have 5 customized disney blankets on you. (it's cold up here in northern va!)
7)you have the walt disney co. website as your homepage on the internet.

haha you and i would get along just fine! I have a disney day each week too! (not always on friday!) And im also a teenager and i dont think its pathetic the life we lead...haha its a magical life!

... and comforting. There is strength in numbers

1. We start planning our next trip while on the current trip.

2. HAVE to have Mickey eggs at least once a week (you know-the ones that you cook in the egg rings)

3. Figured out that you can cut your toast to match your eggs, using said egg rings

4. DS 17 makes the best Mickey pancakes much to the delight of his younger siblings (and his Disney-crazed momma--I taught him well)

5. Sees hidden Mickeys in the most unlikely and sometimes innapropriate places (like Church)

6. Had to go to AK and get rootbeet floats near EE just to get those cool spoon/straws--AND made everyone get one so we would have 6

7. Scares self that I can come up with 5-6 reasons in about 10 seconds

1. We use our DVD recorder to record the resort TV channels so that we watch them at home.
2. I am on the boards looking for tips/rumors/etc even though I just got home two days ago.
