You know it's time to stop DISsing

So I'm here all alone at the house everyone else went bowling with Brothers family.Between the DIS and AceOfCakes.

Aunt that lives a block away calls and ask where the fire is. I see some fog out back and tell her maybe the people at the bottom of the hill caught something on fire with their display of fireworks (thought I was back in Dinsey).She tells me no it seems a bit closer between us.That would leave across the street ,an alley,then her opposite side.

I walk out front and there's 12 firetrucks and 3 ambo's several police cars and fire hoses all over the street.I heard then but on nights like tonight they are common place.I'm glad none of our vehicles are on that side and in the way.I hope no one's hurt as it's a group type home.

It's time to stop for a while

OMG! I've been watching that all night! Until I cycled through them all and they started repeating. Now I'm trying to watch Dick Clark.
Yikes. I suppose that little episode of yours is a reminder that life goes on while we DIS for hours on end!

Duffs Charm City Cakes is about 2 min. from here. I drive pass it some mornings and hope to see him out to give him a holler one day.


Update on the fire . One of the group people was burning matches and trying to set the place on fire another tried to get it out but couldn't.Everyone is OK except the one that was taking to the POPO maybe he will sleep it off.

I have had to run him off our porch in the mornings sometimes as he likes our rocker bench and falls asleep on it.

Now about the cake guy. DH and I kept saying "How much do you think THAT sucker costs?" What do you think since you're somewhat familiar?

We called or went on-line and his basic cakes start at $175 and up.We were going to get DD a TINK cake but went with Carvel instead for their $40 Princess castle cake.

Everyone is fine . No firefighters were hurt .

It's a stand alone 6 Apt. Group type home. I'm sure they will relocate as it looks like the top corner rooms have the most damage and I would guess the rest of the house has extensive water damage.
