You know I'm at the point (politics) Anyone else feel this way?

I'm at the point where I am sick to death of both Kerry and Bush.

I'm a registered republican, but am finding that I am not truly either democrat or replublican as far as the issues go.

I don't trust either man or anything that comes out of their mouths.

I've seen enough Presidents in my life to know that what they say now may or may not take place when they are elected anyway.

Politicians say (or not say) whatever they can if they think it may win them a few votes.

I'm starting to wonder about the benefits of having two parties.

Boy I'm getting cynical in my old age.

There isn't a politician out there that I trust as far as I can throw them. With a father who was head of the Republican Party here for years and years I have first hand knowledge of the way politics are behind the scenes..........nope could care less who wins, who runs or anything anymore. There is NOTHING that ANY politician could do to surprise me anymore.

Yep I feel the same way. I could back either one based on some of thier policies and I can't stand to see either one elected based on other policies of thiers. And in the end it doesn't really matter what they say they're going to do because they'll do whatever they want once elected.

Guess no one with good sense or intact sanity wants the job. Don't blame them either. What I would not give for someone who knows what it is to live like the majority of us to step up and take control of the reins.

Problem is that, I fear, we get what we deserve since so many of us vote according to looks and publicity. Then, on the other hand, where do we get the right information to make an informed choice?

Don't know the answers, if I did, I do not think I would run for office either. I ate paste in first grade and I am sure it would be front page news. LOL

Yep, I feel the same way. I don't buy into anything either one says. I can't stand the petty comments and arguments either. I'm follwing my gut feeling in November.

I've gotta tell you: I really like my candidate and believe he is honest and morally sound. I'm kind of sick of this all too, but I keep participating because I honestly believe that this election might be the most important election ever.

I echo Kendra's sentiments. When I vote for Bush, I will be so proud of my vote. With him I get the feeling that I know what he stands for, and that means a lot to me.

I'd vote for a socialist like Ralph Nader who is firm in his beliefs, before I'd vote for a waffling, changing direction with the wind conservative who I side with on most issues.

I'm tired of the garbage that is being tossed around in this election, but I have no question about my support of John Kerry. I agree that this may well be the most important election we've ever had.

I consider the man in office now to be a danger to the well being of this country.

I am getting really sick of following politics though, I was listening to Rush/Hannity all six hours, every day (I have the radio on in my office, obviously not active listening, but listening none the less) and I've gone back to my iTunes, I'm just getting bored with following politics. I did get a little excited about the GOP convention, but I am still kind of bored with the whole thing, I'm a proud conservative, and give my full support to W (bumper sticker on my truck, sign on the lawn of my new house) and there really is nothing Kerry could do at this point to get my vote, so I think I may just tune things out for a while
