I've always had an ADR for TS but have gotten thru at POFQ explaining I wanted to try some beignets, but what about other resorts if I want to try their CS? I think CSR would be fairly easy but will GF let me park to use some CS credits at Gasperilla's? Or Fun and Games area at the Contemporary? There would be no ADR but I think you should be allowed to use your CS there. Is it allowed or up to the guard? (No scam to get parking for MK.... don't even have tickets for MK, its about get CS and maybe touring hotel a bit, we'll be doing waterparks which lack somewhat in CS selection.)

I don't know if you can park at GF or not. We took the bus to MK, then hopped on the monorail to get to GF. If you are going at an "off" time you might also be able to up front on the monorail (we did!).

Should be no problem using CS credits at any of the resorts.

If you're a Disney resort guest, you can drive right through security to ANY disney resort, or parking lot without having to pay.

If you're not a Disney resort guest, and dont want to pay 8 bucks to park at the TTA. I suggest parking at Downtown Disney and then getting on a bus to whichever resort you need to go. Then if you need to resort hop (to a resort with no monorail), use whatever Park bus gets to the hotel first to hop.

So if you're at POFQ and need to get to the Boardwalk and the Epcot bus shows up first, Hop on the epcot bus and then get on the boardwalk bus at Epcot.

I'm sure i'll be flamed. But as long as you have a Disney ticket in your hands the Disney buses and monorails are free to use however you want. So parking at downtown disney, is not illegal. But does fill up the parking lot and make people on this board mad. :thumbsup2

Good Luck!

We are staying onsite, you have to for DDP. I might pop over trying to use CS credits but it wouldn't be worth the effort if just paying for CS so its all DDP related. Parking anywhere but in the hotel parking lot wouldn't be worth the effort for a CS meal so we'll just see what happens if we even get around to it. We drive everywhere, find it easier than busses, especially since we aren't doing the major parks. 3 hr parking passes are definately given for TS dining, just not sure if CS dining is contemplated.

Thanks for the info. I figured the parking pass on the dash would help get past the gate but I think I've also read about an onsite guest having to drive back to his resort to get a PS number so it may vary. Honestly, I don't like the idea of people parking at DTD either. I want to be able to get a space when go there for dining or DQ.

We've had both happen - we left our PS number for Ohana, and they wouldnt let us in - I called disney dining, got the number, and then got in -

other times, it was just showing our POR parking pass was enough to get us through to GF, CR and Polynesian - so it just depends!!

Just make an ADR at one of the TS in the resort, to get in, do a no show and go to the counter service .

We've found the hotels where one might try to park and go to a theme park to be the most strict (Contemporary, Poly, GF). We've never had a problem elsewhere with the WDW parking pass on the vehicle and a photo ID.

If you are going in for CS, tell the guard that. It helps if you know the name of the CS outlet.

Yes, you can always park at DTD, but if you are doing that, you may as well just take the bus from your resort to DTD then the bus from DTD to the resort you want to visit....all of which makes it a major pain in the neck. I've never had a problem as long as I had the vehicle parking pass, a KTTW, and a photo ID.

As to making an ADR and being a "no show".....if you do this, you are preventing someone else from making a legitimate ADR. That's really not nice.

Bad example; there is no Boardwalk bus from Epcot.

That is not a very Disney thing to do......with DDP ADR's are at a premium, so this is a method I do not advise.

To the OP - Your parking pass on your dashboard allows you access to all hotels. We too are Disney Drivers and just came back and did the same thing you are planning, we resort hop alot and have done several CS's at different resorts and not an eyebrow was raised (nor should it be)- When going to any resort - I've never been asked for my ADR number. this includes the YC, GF, CR, POR, Poly, we've just shown our dashboard pass, sometime they want to see your KTTW; but you just have to show it; they've never checked the names
