You just lost 80 pounds! What are you Going to do next? Ending TR

Fun updates, Camille.

Wonderful Flower and Garden pictures. I thoroughly love that time of year (not sure if I'll insert those in my TR when I'm done with it or not as an "extra day").

I love yours and Mackie's outfits...very cute.

You could see in the picture that Maroo was getting quite red from the hot Italian.

I can't wait to eat there for the first time in September with Brenda and her hubby.

Thank you, Ms. Kat. I had hoped it was a fun one for y'all to read.

The F&GF is my favorite, I actually get depressed when I see Epcot without the beautiful flowers I'm use to seeing there. It's such a beautiful park with all the topiaries and flowers out for us to see. Hands down favorite time to be there. :goodvibes

Thanks about our outfits, they aren't anything spectacular, but a lot of fun trying to buy for and put together along with what park we'll be in.

Poor Maroo, she has a tendency to get red very easily, and with all the laughing we were doing over my trying to sneak a picture in of Armando and us laughing about how vocal he was about wanting to marry someone in the states to stay, it was almost impossible to get a picture of her without her being red in the face. :rotfl:

I think you'll like Via Napoli, pretty tasty. ::yes:: And if you don't, you'll have great company to keep you entertained. :)

Thank you for reading along, Ms. Kat.

I am lovin' the Flower & Garden Festival pictures! I absolutely love the first set of pictures along the water. Don't you wish that they'd keep the landscaping that way all year round? We got to see some of the Monsters University topiaries when we were there but most were gone.:sad1:

Thank you, Lisa!! :goodvibes

All the pictures of the one's near the water are my favs. too. ::yes::
On my FB page if you hoover over my name you'll see my FB cover photo is of the same vista, it's actually a new picture that I caught when I was there another Epcot day, not any of the one's you've seen yet. It's really pretty, check it out. :goodvibes

And yes, I wish they would keep those flowers there all year round, it's so beautiful.
If you ever get a chance to go out the International Gateway do, just a bit beyond the gate they have a bunch of flower beds of flowers they are testing to see if they can survive the FL. weather. They are all the flowers they are testing to see if they want to use them in the future F&GF.
It's interesting to see what works and what doesn't and how it grows, when you see things like that and how all those topiaries and other gardens are kept it's amazing to think about the amount of work that goes into making F&GF work.
The flower beds all have the names of the flowers too, so if you want to try and find them at home you can. :goodvibes

The trip before they still had some of their gardens out after the festival was over (so depressing) and they were less than pristine, I think some people said something and things seemed to be a lot more put together when we were there.
I thought last years F&GF was outstanding, they really put a lot of thought into it and I think they outdid themselves by a lot, the last few years before had been kinda lean. This years seems that way too, but then I haven't seen a lot of pictures just yet.

Goodness, how did I fall behind here? Oops! :)

Ahhh I'm so in love with Epcot during F&G, what a great time to go! All the beautiful photos of the floral arrangements bring back great memories of the one and only time I've been there for F&G.

Mackie's Perry tee is adorable. I know what you are saying about cartoon/character/pop-icon images on clothing. I've never really been one to pick out those types of things unless it was Disney related! :)

Via Napoli.... they are never short on handsome Italian young men are they? And the food isn't bad either.

Your mother/daughter photo at MK with Mackie sitting on the wall is cute! You look wonderful!! Seriously! ::yes::

Camille, so good to see you on here posting on this TR again. You have been in my thoughts and prayers. I pray you are doing well.;)

Love the pictures of Epcot during the Flower & Garden Festival. I have never been there during that time, but in a couple more years when Carolyn and I will be empty nesters (where did all those years go?) it will be one of the first things we do. :thumbsup2

Soooooo, I'm thinking the Oct. trip is totally out. :worried:
As much as I needed to have that to look forward to during the time I decided to plan for it, I'm glad I planned for it, it served it's purpose. However, it's looking like it simply isn't going to happen, and I'm okay with that. :)

Too many things that need to be taken care of around here. The house needs to be painted this year, badly. And we've been talking about putting in a sprinkler system, needless to say I think this year is a bust. :sad1:
BUT!! Never fear!! Where there are Dis'ers, there's always a trip very near!!

Tyler, my son and I were talking about maybe doing a trip together May 2015!! :cheer2:
He graduates Texas A&M this coming Dec. and will have to stay there for the remainder of the year to live out his lease.
So! That being, he has nothing to do but work during that time, fawn over his girlfriend while she finishes up her last semester, and save a little money to go to Disney with his Mama.

Either way the trip will be May, (even if Ty doesn't end up going) and if I'm not going this year by golly I'm going in 2015, come heck or high water!! :goodvibes
Besides, the F&GF is my favorite time of the year to go, I wish it were going to be F&W this Oct., but it's not looking too good. :worried:
Could still happen, but more than likely it won't. I think I'd feel better about the house being painted when I go on my next trip, that way I'm not going with guilt eating at me.

The really cool thing about this particular trip is that I'm actually thinking about coming up with a bunch of surprises for Ty during the trip, the whole trip will actually all be a surprise since I'm doing the planning, but surprises as in things he would never expect. :)
He loves staying at CSR, but I'm actually thinking about sneaking in a couple of nights at the AKV, if I can rent the points for the first two nights, and maybe adding some other really cool things in that he will have no clue about, I think it can make for a really interesting trip.

To me, some of the best parts about going on a trip to WDW is having new thing to experience, so I think staying at a new resort, and doing some things we've never done before is a big part of that for me.
Mackenzie and I having a day off at the start and going to the Swalphin was certainly new and a lot of fun to experience, I'm hoping to capture some of that again.

All y'all will have to help me come up with some good ideas. :thumbsup2

So far the only things I have come up with are AKV a couple of nights, and maaaaybe AofA the last couple of nights and doing Tea again.
Tea was so much fun, and I think Ty would actually get a kick out of it, if I tell him about it before hand he'll probably say he doesn't want to do it, but if I surprise him I think he'd really enjoy it. And more than likely the trip will fall on Mothers Day again, so it will be perfect, he won't be able to deny me. :)

It sounds like you'll enjoy a trip in May better anyway :goodvibes You can relax about the house being painted, you'll have your favourite F&G festival to look forward to, and DS might be with you too! I think it's worth waiting another few months for :thumbsup2

A trip in May 2015 sounds fabulous with your son. I hope you can rent the points; we just love our DVC stays now.

As the time get's closer we'll figure out what you want to do. I'm up for just about anything. :goodvibes San Antonio is a great city, it will be pretty hot at the time so keep that in mind. I'll have to take you to my favorite Tex-Mex place to eat. :goodvibes

I think I know where that is....:thumbsup2

Finally caught up and you got some great shots of the flowers. I know I tried my best to get that shot but not sure if I succeeded.

Ah Yes Armando- I do believe I had him as a waiter myself, need to see if I ever got a good picture of him.

Goodness, how did I fall behind here? Oops! :)

Probably because I surprised everyone by posting all of a sudden. :rotfl: And then I sort of did three different posts, that must have really confused everyone.

Ahhh I'm so in love with Epcot during F&G, what a great time to go! All the beautiful photos of the floral arrangements bring back great memories of the one and only time I've been there for F&G.

I have to agree with you, it's such a beautiful time to go. Hoping the trip we take together will be during this festival. :goodvibes

Mackie's Perry tee is adorable. I know what you are saying about cartoon/character/pop-icon images on clothing. I've never really been one to pick out those types of things unless it was Disney related! :)

I don't know what it is, I just have never been prone to it.

Via Napoli.... they are never short on handsome Italian young men are they? And the food isn't bad either.

Since I haven't been there before I'm not sure, but I'll take your word for it. The food was actually pretty good. :thumbsup2

Your mother/daughter photo at MK with Mackie sitting on the wall is cute! You look wonderful!! Seriously! ::yes::

 Thank you, Ms. Brenda. You are so sweet. I don't know why we couldn't get Mary to join, I think she was just being camera shy at that moment. She comes around in my next TR. :goodvibes

Camille, so good to see you on here posting on this TR again. You have been in my thoughts and prayers. I pray you are doing well.;)

Thank you Bob, I'm so glad to know that I still have readers. I know it's been a up and down thing for me to be here posting, I just hope now that things have settled more and I'm able to be here and focus on the TR.

Thank you so much for your prayers, it really means a lot to me. Just when I wonder how I'm getting through the things I've come through over the last several months the Holy spirit reminds me it's due to having so many praying for me and my family. I don't know where I'd be without all my friends. :thumbsup2
I'm actually doing pretty well, I've had some ups and downs as you've probably read, but things are finally coming around where I feel I can start getting back to a solid place of normality. Have I mentioned I hate drama and upheaval in my life?!? I realize there's bound to be some, but over stuff that I've separated myself from, healed from and left behind isn't okay with me.
I think I'm actually starting to gain some momentum with being my old self more and more though, once I no longer have to deal with my family I'll be home free, as sad as that is to say.
My one big concern right now is that my birthday is coming up this week and that's when I'm wondering if it's going to really hit me that my mom isn't here and how big the falling out with my family is since no one outside of my kids, my husband and his parents will be acknowledging it. It won't just be the loss of my mom, it's my dad too.
I know that sounds silly and maybe even childish, but birthdays are a big deal in my family, or at least to me.
I'm sure it will all turn out fine, my in laws and son are coming into town to celebrate with us. :lovestruc

Thank you, the pictures turned out pretty well this time. :lovestruc I think I captured the feel of how beautiful it really is.
I'm so in love with the F&GF, you and your wife are really going to have to make an effort to go one year, especially during the start of May. May is not nearly as hot as the later half and or the summer months. :scared: And who knows, maybe we will be there at the same time and we can all meet up for a snack or lunch or something! :goodvibes
And I know just what you mean about where does the time go, although I think you'll be hitting that empty nest moment a couple of years before we will. :worried:

Beautiful Epcot pics. How I wish I was there!

You and me both. :lovestruc And thank you for the compliment. :) How are you? The winter getting to you?
We're finally getting some wonderful spring weather that seems to be sticking, we've been doing this warm trend and then cold trend for the last month or so, it's been great having the breaks of warmth, but I'm ready to be able to plant my plants and tomatoes and be done with this cold nonsense.

I think you are right, Lana. As much as I would like to be in WDW when the weather is cooler, I think in the end I just love the F&GF so much more. :goodvibes I'm just hoping my son will be able to make the trip with me, if not then I'll just have to do a solo trip and hope for some beautiful Dis'er friends to be there. :goodvibes

Crossing my fingers we can make this happen. Time will tell. Hoping to get those DVC points for a couple of nights, but then who knows. I don't even know where to start with going into all of that.

I think I know where that is....:thumbsup2

::yes::

Finally caught up and you got some great shots of the flowers. I know I tried my best to get that shot but not sure if I succeeded.

Thank you! :) I'm sure by all your past photos you more than got a great shot or two of those flowers. :thumbsup2

Ah Yes Armando- I do believe I had him as a waiter myself, need to see if I ever got a good picture of him.

I don't think he waited on tables the day we were there, he was the one busing them and bringing people the things they needed when the servers were really busy. I'm curious as to what other pretty waiters you might have captured though.

Hey Millie! Just wanted to let you know I have booked 3 nights accommodation in San Antonio :cool1: Checking in on 18th September and checking out 21st September, so I'll have 2 full days there.

Looking forward to experiencing some Tex Mex :thumbsup2

Lana, this is so exciting!!! :yay:

We'll have to PM with one another on the details of where you are staying so I know where you'll be and possibly help you plan accordingly. Do you have any idea of what you'd want to do while you are here? We most certainly don't have to do SeaWorld, it was just a suggestion. There are so many places I'm sure you'd want to explore. :goodvibes Do some research and let me know and then we'll go from there! :thumbsup2

Did I mention how exciting this is?!?

Millie, it snowed here today. I am sooo done with winter. Three different guys called my dh yesterday just to talk golf. Everyone is ready for spring. My mom's cancer may have returned. She goes for biopsies Friday. To my surprise, she is relatively optimistic. The med she has been taking for her many years of back pain has been working well and she feels alive again. She plans to do chemo this time wheras two years ago she wouldn't even consider it.

Great updates! You look so stinkin' cute in that flower outfit! So fun to see you in your TR! So nice Maroo could join you there! You crack me up trying to take sneaky pics of the pretty man! :lmao: He's probably used to it. ;)

Great job on the flower and water pics:thumbsup2 I think they came out beautifully! Miss photobomb thinks she is quite the comic, doesn't she? :( I love all of the topiary pics - so fun to see the magic they work for F&G!

Oooh Ms. Debbie, I'm so sorry. I can't even imagine what all y'all in the NEastern states are going through. It's got to be tough going through such a rough winter. I'm hearing reports this is the worst winter on record for most of the NE states. Thank goodness this sort of thing ebbs and flows over the years. :worried: I'm not one to buy into the junk science, garbage of global warming. :rotfl:

I remember last year being a strange year for a lot of people when it came to the winter weather extending well into the spring months. JediJill had snow, in May when she left for her WDW trip.

I'm hoping the reports about the possibilities of cancer are negative, that's the last thing your mom needs right now. Although, I'm beyond thrilled to hear she's having a great result from her pain meds. It's amazing what a person will be willing to go through and deal with if they aren't in agony. Bless her heart. I'll be praying for her results to come out to be a big flop! :thumbsup2

MAGICFOR2;51082660]Great updates! You look so stinkin' cute in that flower outfit! So fun to see you in your TR!

 Gwwarsh! You make me blush. Thank you, Tammie.
That was a fun day. :lovestruc

So nice Maroo could join you there! You crack me up trying to take sneaky pics of the pretty man! :lmao: He's probably used to it. ;)

Maroo was there for four days. :) Cracking you up?!? You should have heard Maroo and Mackie going at it as I was trying to take the pics, between the laughing and telling me what a horrible job I was doing of not being inconspicuous. :rotfl: It was pretty funny.

Great job on the flower and water pics:thumbsup2 I think they came out beautifully! Miss photobomb thinks she is quite the comic, doesn't she? :( I love all of the topiary pics - so fun to see the magic they work for F&G!
[/QUOTE]

The flower vista, <big happy sigh> :cloud9: So pretty, I could spend all day there looking at it. And I probably would have if it weren't for Mackenzie nagging me about leaving or getting to something else.

Miss photobomb thought she was hilarious. If I had known about it, it would have been worth it to me to follow her for a bit and have done the same in kind, little brat. :rotfl:

Last I left you we were making our way to MK for our dinner reservation. We had just finished up a day at Epcot. A bright and early morning there, with fun rides, a wonderful lunch at Via Napoli, some exploring around Epcot's beautiful F&GF, taking in the Seas Pavilion and then finding our way out of Epcot so the girls could make their way to MK. I made my way over to CSR (which was an event all on it's own ) to get us checked in and then made my way back to MK to meet up with the girls for our dinner ADR. :goodvibes

Now that we had thoroughly used our photo-pass (just picked it up before heading to MK) it was now time to make our way into MK and make our way to our dinner ADR. The last picture I have of us at the front of the park is at 5:45, our ADR was at 6:15, so no time to dilly dally. Welllllll, maybe a little dilly dallying....

The walls outside of the new Mine Train area were just adorable. This is what makes Disney so special, they don't just put up walls, they put up walls that will entertain you. :goodvibes :lovestruc

Next we check into the podium and excitedly wait it out. :yay:

Byyyyy doing this...

(I think by the pictures you can tell where we are eating. :) )

:rotfl:

Poor Mackie, she had had enough of people, it was time for an escape.
Maybe to some this may seem rude or seem out of place, but when you are not a people person 95% of the time like I am, you have to find your way to escape when you can't truly "escape", so she would hide herself in a book.
My baby brought a book into the parks almost every single day we were there, I begged her not to weigh herself down with a book in her little bag that mickeystoontown-Lisa had made for her. But she insisted and here was why. ::yes::

Mary couldn't resist teasing her...

But then quickly got bored and ventured to other things.

She's so cute. :goodvibes

Finally, we were called in...

And no I don't know those people. :rotfl:

And this is where I'll leave it. Since I did an update last week I don't feel so bad cutting this one off a bit on the early side. :)

I need to jump off of here because it's.....Hammer Time! For those who aren't in the know, this is my way of saying it's my time to get to my workout. :rotfl:

Be blessed y'all. :grouphug:

Such a tease!

:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

I love your photopass pics in front of the MK.

How cute is Mackie reading a book to get away from "people" and your Maroo playing around to pass the time.

Can't wait to read more.
