You have unlimited money, how long would you stay at Disney?

where can i find that post about this mother & daughter living at wdw for a year and a half at the poly or GF?

(how did i miss that one!)

I was looking for it too....

Since I never gain weight while I am DW I have often commented that I would love to go for a full year and come home a new one, happy and skinny!! If it were not for the grandkids I would probably never want to come home though.

The house in Celebration sounds like the way to go. I love the houses with little to care for in the way of a yard. Courtyard is the way to go, small, easy to care for and private as well!!

"I think if WDW became your reality, then everything else would really suck!" Never truer words were spoken. Is why we spend so much time on the Boards so that we can feel close to our 'real' lives!!

I just had another thought - as far as the mother and daughter who are supposedly enjoying a very extended stay.

With the price of nursing homes and such I am willing to bet that even staying at a deluxe resort at DW is cheaper and has a much better view and is handicapped accessible. :earsgirl:

Two weeks in the parks would be plenty for me. I get overloaded after awhile.

BUT...I could stay at the GF for a month or two without getting bored or tired of the luxury.

And if money were no object I could visit all the other deluxe resorts too. OK, so now I'm up to a couple of months,.......lol

I AGREE !! :Pinkbounc Disney would be my ideal retierment/nursing home. Think of the nice walks around EPCOT -- the days out by the pool..... ahhhhh....... only 20 years until retirement...

One week. I get sick of it after 6 days.

But after a week at home, I'm ready to go back. ;)

Definitely two weeks. But would I stay all in one deluxe hotel, or split it between several? Obviously I'd love to stay a week or so at the GF, but I LOVE WL & AKL, so the decision would be tough!

I think I would stay 11 months out of the year...Don't like Hurricanes..so August, I would ...hmmm not sure...Leave FL...and go.... :confused3

:scratchin Money no option.
I would plant the biggest camper @ Camp Wilderness.
Only resort that my :cat: :cat: can stay.
Oh, by the way I'm here to stay. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Well, if money were no option I'd have already bought a vaction home in FL right next to WDW so i could go anytime I wanted..lol! But I have never been there..is a wish of mine to go..maybe one day..:)

i'd stay forever and ever and have no care in the word
get the most expensive room at the most expensive hotel and then pool hop to swim in different pools
yay

I would purchase an apartment in the top of Cinderella's castle. My departure date would be the day after never!

I'd buy enough points with DVC to be able to stay wherever I wanted to for the whole year. My home resort would be Boardwalk Villas- I'd have a Grand Villa for us to live in, and we'd take 'mini vacations' at other resorts throughout the year. We'd have our own private staff of CMs who would pamper us. :cloud9:

I would do a year, come back to where I live, and back to Disney! Never been there, only Disneyland, but I am sure I would have no regrets. I would keep on alternating between the two (DW/DL and home). Oh, and concierge style as well!!! :boat:

Zach :earsboy:

I think 3 weeks would be perfect. Enough time to see and do what I wanted, but not so long that it got old.

That sounds about right for me too. ::yes::

I would buy the DVC points.....paid up for the next 25 years. and Also buy a house in Celebration....my DD still has to go to school. :rotfl: And we have to have a home for our puppies. :teeth:
I would plan to stay at BWV at least for a week every month. (We've always wanted to stay at BW, but never had the opportunity.) Would love to be able to walk to MGM and Epcot.
But we would have to spend a week at Poly every couple months or so....love to watch Wishes from the beach! :goodvibes :goodvibes
