Magic Kingdom
We really enjoyed the breakfast at Crystal Palace. We also enjoyed the breakfast in the castle but I know how hard it is to get priority seatings for it. We usually pick up a hamburger and some chicken strips at the restaurant in Fantasyland. I can't remember the name of it right now. It is the old fashioned building that is connect to IASW.
Epcot
My husband and I just love Epcot. It is our favorite park.
The only character meal we do is the Ice Cream Social at The Land. You get admission via a priority seating. It is usually around 3pm or so. Farmer Mickey, Pluto, and Chip & Dale are there. They serve you really big ice cream sundaes and it is very affordable. I think it is $6.99 (I corrected my original price per another websites menue) per person. We always ask for ice water instead of sodas to keep the cost down also. Another tip, ask to be seated in the upper level. This allows you to watch the characters interact with other families as well. You get a ton of time with the characters since this is a smaller event. I think each of the characters stopped by our table three or more times. It is a great event for a smaller cost.
Let's see, as for other food. We usually get a quick early lunch in the restaurant on the left just after you pass under Spaceship Earth. Again, I can't remember the name.
After the Ice Cream social, we tend to eat our way around the world showcase. We get Kaki Goris, School Bread from Norway, desserts from France, Turkey Legs from American Adventure, McDonalds french fries, a bucket of popcorn, the layered margarita from the stand outside of the Mexico (caution, don't drink these to fast), and then we usually try at least something new to eat also. We rarely do any big sit down restaurants during our trips. Although, I would love to try LeCelliar some time. mmm
Happy eating!
