but I never see good prices on Viking. For instance, their "case" of #4 bubble envelopes is slightly cheaper than bubblemailers, but Vikings case only has 25 envelopes and bubblemailer's has 100!
Viking has three brands..check out the case prices and the non brand. If you compare them to the most expensive name brand, it won't be cheaper. However, I didn't think bubblemailers were the name brands either...but I have to admit, I didn't look at the brands..just the prices, I just got a Viking catalog today, and I compared..and Viking was less on that size. However I also buy when they have buy one get one case.
My
best buy, and I posted it here the first time I found them, and many took advantage, was in the clearance area of Quill. I did just look, since I got some there last month (4 X 6 1/2 side load for .06 each), but they don't have them right now..they come and go. I also posted when Viking had their buy on e get one sale.
Right now (expires feb 21) a case (500) of 4 X 8 (which is the 4 X 6 1/2 inside) bubble mailers at Viking is $69.86, which is .129 at Viking..at Bubblemailers, if I'm reading it right, it's .13.6. The biggest difference, is I usually buy when it's by one case get one free (regular prices, of course)..then it's 1000 for .106...or sometimes lower, since the actually have them lower than what they call "list".
I have also gotten the free luggage, the free brief case, etc, which they often offer on the front of their catalog, which I then sell on eBay and hey, I've cleared $10 on each item LOL. I also get "special" deals, as a previous client..they send me special prices for the items I buy, if I haven't bought in a while..so sometimes I get the envies for even less.
The bigger sizes, are a penny and a half more at Viking..for the price they are now..but again, I reiterate, I buy them when they are buy one get one..for a far greater savings.
Of course If Cann needs them right now..she just has to compare and see which is the best for her..as anyone has too. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with this company...I used to buy frm them all the time. I think their service is great. I just happen to make out better elsewhere now. But I also buy and store in advance. Heck, I dont' even need insulation in my attic, with all the bubblewrap, popcorn, and bubble envy's I have up there!
