but it looks like, just with echeck. I only spend that much, if I can use my charge card for protection..paypal won't care if you send me an empty envelope, (not that I am suggesting you would, believe me)..if you can prove you shipped it, paypal without a credit card offers no protection : (

and on Sparedollar, and I believe they are programmed with some different criteria available. For example, I have my Sparedollar counters set up to ignore my home IP address, so if I go in and look at my listings, my hits don't register there.

OK - I haven't finished reading thru the new posts yet - but if it isn't posted - can you tell me how you did this?

OK, I have a confession to make, and I am 50/50 embarrassed and amused... I live in a rural area where garbage collection is not part of local services, so we "go to the dump". Actually, my DS19 does it almost all the time. A few weeks ago I went with him... most dumps have a "Treasure House", "Swap Shop", or some other such place where you leave things that are too good to throw away... and if you find something you want, you just take it. Well, it's been at least 2 months since the last Yard Sale I found up here in NH....I confess, I was in withdrawal... I took some things out of my dump's Treasure House, and listed them on eBay!!!

And now one of them has a bid!!!! A second item is being watched by multiple bidders. I listed them as part of the SD98 promotion, and it seems like it will be fairly effective. The amazing part is that I started some items for .98 that were worth alot more (IMO), and here they sit bidless while the astrology book from the dump is going to sell!! Go figure.
So, if you have something you think nobody would want, and you're tempted to throw it away, try listing it first!
Gee whiz, I just LOVE eBay!![]()

Wow the buyers are out in full force the past few days! Most of my clothing has bids on it and out of the 15 video games I listed, 7 sold at Buy it Now! I've already made over $100 and I have $90 in bids going.![]()
Thank you Mrs. Snowgod. My DS has grown so much this past year!

You're not alone, Joy!
I was making a quick run to the store one night when out of the corner of my eye I saw a light fixture sitting on top of someones trash by the side of the road in my neighborhood. I braked real fast, backed up, and looked again. It was a beautiful OLD light fixture! I got out of my SUV and snagged that baby! Someone was out walking thier dog and gave me a funny look! I brought it home and my Dad asked me where I got that and I told him. He said "My daughter the dumpster diver, I'm so proud."LOL I didn't care. That light fixture sold for $43 and now he's been eyeing the trash on the side of the road for me!LOL

I have a question for you Disney fans...What do you say if someone asks for original packaging of a figurine you are certain didn't have packaging when you bought it at the Disney store years ago. Remember when the Disney stores used to sell the same loose ceramic figurines that they sell in the parks? I have a person insisting that Hades from Hercules came with a box and I know he didn't. I don't want to come off as pushy, but I want to tell her that there was no original box, aside from the generic Dsiney store box they put it in.
What to do?

Love it! That's great! I hoped I wasn't alone... we can call it very effective recycling.
Hey, Jenifer, I liked that photo of you that was in your signature yesterday (?). You look way too young to be a grandmother (of 2, no less)!

Hey everybody, I'm thinking about offering some information products, or possibly services. I do Powerpoint presentations for work all the time, and there are people who really seem to value that skill. Any input from some of you out there who may sell these types of products? Opinions? Would anybody purchase a service on-line?
