Just checked with the local Post Office and ALL contents of the package must meet Media Mail rules. No extra stuffed animal or clothing, etc...

Media Mail cannot contain advertising. " www.usps.com


As for the length of time it takes to you reach the customer it can vary--I've never had it take 6 weeks to receive something sent Media Mail--maybe it got "lost" and just took that long to "find" it... The longest I've ever waited was 7 mailing days at that's what they claim it will take from coast to coast. I know sometimes the Postal Service can be very slow...hey, on an item that's only 6 oz. it would be $3.85 Priority Mail, $3.75 Parcel Post or $1.42 Media Mail--that's quite a savings! (First Class is how ever only $1.52 and claims 3 shipping days....) I guess it's just up to your customer. I usually try to ship the most economical way that way it keeps them coming back to me!

Once you have filled for your fees, you are free to relist. The fees should show up in your account almost instantly

Hey LinK- thats my nickname in some circles- related to my last name- isnt that funny...
Anyway, my sales have been nearly nonexistent for the past 2 weeks. Very frustrating, I keep checking and checking- at this point, I have a huge pile of things I want to list but I dont want to list too many things at once (I try to keep it below 30 auctions) to keep it manageable.
Im getting very frustrated...Especially b/c Im ready to buy Christmas presents and was going to use Ebay money to do so!

hi i have a question. i recently had a item up for auction and the reserve price was not met. the highest bidder and i made a deal and he decided to buy the item at a set price, not through ebay. he paid through paypal.I recieved an email from him today stating it is not what i said the item was and wanted a full refund. this item was very expensive$162.00 +$20.00 shipping. i stated i used the picture from the company but if any one wanted to see more pics of the item i would take more and send them.So now I am at a loss as to what to do, HELP!?!

Giving a refund is up to you, if you described the item etc. But I would deffiently require that they ship the item back to you and I would only refund the actual purchase price, not shipping and handling.

My personal opinion is both of you made the deal outside of ebay and that's that. If he is a real pain, I might refund once he shipped back less the shipping, if you think you can sell it to someone else. Otherwise, sorry Charlie. Item sent as stated.

Did he purchase the paypal guarantee?
