Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek !!! I hate these new ebay invoices !! Absolutely, positively, HATE them !!!!!!!! (Did I mention that I HATE them ????)

I just went to send an invoice to a repeat customer of mine and guess what ? Every single thing this person has ever bought from me since last APRIL is on that invoice !!!

Why? The items have been paid for and shipped MONTHS ago - so why do they have to include them on the invoice?

I have a feeling these new invoices are going to cause major, MAJOR problems - but how can I avoid using them? If I don't use the ebay invoices, then I can never file for my fees if someone doesn't pay..

Why do they insist upon "fixing" things that AREN'T broke - yet ignoring the things that ARE ?? Like having to keep signing out and then signing back in again everygosh darn time I want to delete something from my selling page.. GRRRRRRRRRR..

What's with that anyway?!? I thought it was just me...how aggravating!!!

I haven't had anyone buy more than one item yet since the new invoices. I usually hope they do...now I'm hoping they don't!

I am thrilled because I finally got my DH to go through his GIGANTIC D&D collection ..we listed a bunch this weekend(he took 1 solid week researching how to combine them into lots and such...)
And as of this morning 9 of the auctions have bids! WOW!
He is so excited he is tearing through aall of his other Collections now.

I spent 2 hrs loading millions of listings into my TurboLister and when I tried to upload I had a mandatory update....so I downloaded it and now my turbolister won't open!!!! I can't upload! ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH

It says runtime error Pure virtual function call

Any ideas?????????


I REALLY don't want to retype and upload 1 at a time!!!!

From reading the ebay discussion EVERYONE seems to be complaining about the new invoices. Being I'm a newbie seller and don't sell that many things I guess it doesn't matter to me one way or the other. But, from what I read if we all complain to ebay about this new invoice, they may change it back to the old one. So I'm heading back to ebay's live help and give my complaint about it.

I personally feel that this is just taking a long time because it is Media mail to Alaska.

Did you use Delivery Confirmation? If not, you can get DC for only $.13 if you use Shipping Assistant to preprint your label. For such a remote place it may take 6 weeks since Media Mail is the last thing loaded on trucks.

I have someone who wants to bid on my auction, but is in Norway. I only ship to the US. I suppose I would ship overseas. How much harder is it to do? Is it a lot more expensive? It's a pen set, so it's fairly light.

you could ship it Global Priority Mail....the small flat rate envelope (6" x 10") would cost $5.00 to ship....a pen set should fit in that. You can pick up the envelope at the post office and you will need to fill out a customs form also....they have them there for you as well.

Non-Paying Bidder question for you???

Today is day 10 for me to file for my final value fees. To do that I need the Item #. I can't find it!! The auction ended on 8/27/03 so I can't even get to it in MyEbay page. Paypal manager also only goes back 30 days.

Any ideas????

If you have not left feedback yet on this item, you could click onto your "feedback" tab, click the "Leave feedback" button and you would be able to find your item and it's number that way.

You can click on search, then seller, put in your ebay name, and all, and all of your sales will pop up from the past 30 days. You'll see the number.

How %#$% is this? I had an item up for auction and it sold for 51.00 + shipping. The buyer never paid nor contacted me, so I filed a NPD and FVFC. Got the FV back and relisted. It now sold for 9.99. UGH!!! I'm so mad about that. I didn't do the second chance offer, I should have. IF EBAY WOULD CHANGE THEIR RULES and not allow a NPB to be able to file feedback, I'd have a few choice words for that NPB on her feedback.
Now I also have the exact same item up and I started it at 9.99, I have 4 days left and there's 1 bid, so I wouldn't end the auction early. I should have done a reserve price...Oh well, should've, wouldve, couldve.....Live and learn...

Anyone else having problems since the new required update?

Lots and lots of folks complaining on the Discussion Boards on eBay. I've done everything that ebay has "suggested" - to no avail...

It's going to take me forever and a day if I have to list everything on-line via the Sell Page - not to mention I don't want my auctions starting in the middle of the day!

I don't think I'll ever understand why eBay continually "fixes" things that aren't broken..

IF EBAY WOULD CHANGE THEIR RULES and not allow a NPB to be able to file feedback, I'd have a few choice words for that NPB on her feedback.

You have 90 days to leave feedback, as does she, so count your days and leave it on day 89-90. She most likely wont have time to give you a Neg back. Or if she makes it a habit of not paying then Ebay will boot her after 3 NPB.

I too have received that message when I wanted to edit something, but I was able to upload it to ebay. Hopefully, they fix the problem.

Otherwise, I have been doing really good on my auctions, got quite abit for my nintendo games.

Must be a good shopping week. I've been having good luck with my auctions as well. Lots of Buy-it-Nows! And, all but one have paid immediately with Paypal and even that one indicated she will be paying tomorrow.

I just placed a bid on a halloween costume for my daughter. It said I'm the high bidder (actually, I'm the only bidder, so far) and that my identity is private. This is a first for me to have that on an auction that I bid on. Does anyone know why it would say that. Maybe I clicked on something that says I want my identity unknown/private and didn't realize I did.
