I don't refund on uninsured packages. The person had the option and YOU are not responsible for what the postal service does once you leave the packages. I will admit I have gotten one neg on an item the person says didn't receive. But they opted not to insure so they took the gamble and lost. Of course this is just my opinon. And I know others will refund (fear of neg feedback?) but I don't.Originally posted by avdeane
What do I do in this case?
I had a buyer win several of my auctions, (videos). When I invoice I put the option of insurance if it is available. (In Canada sometimes we aren't given the option of insurance for small packages.) Anyway, this package was bigger so insurance was available. Now here's the problem...the buyer contacted me today stating that she hasn't received the package yet. It did not have insurance on it so there is no tracking number for it. It was shipped on the 19th of August and she should have received it already. Since she didn't request insurance am I responsible for refunding her if she still claims that she hasn't received the package? After reading so many stories about people being scammed it worries me that she may just want to get her money back.
Any ideas or thoughts greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Vicky
Can't you add to the desciption if there is a bid? I know you can not change it but i thought you could ADD to it?? Just add a little note saying, due to error that it is not an actual test but 3 TIMES the sample questions. Playing up that they are getting MORE sample questions then they would on a "actual" test.Originally posted by CarolJ
I have a dilemma. I put down in my auction which ends Sunday that I would include with a study book an added bonus of an actual test with a study book. There are 5 bids on them. A friend asked to borrow it before I sold it and told me it was sample questions rather than an actual test. It's better because it contains 150 questions, most which have been used on the test, while an actual test would only contain 50 questions. However, I don't want to deceive the high bidder or future bidders so what do I do?

I just feel like sometimes we should go with our guts and give people a chance. So often new sellers on this thread worry about whether a new buyer is trustworthy, or if they should be ready to doubt. Yes, there are jerks out there, but I really believe that they are far outnumbered by really nice people.
