The dates are already set for June 24th-26th 2004. This is a great way to meet all kinds of e-Bayers, they have classes you can attend and an Exhibitors Hall, but one of the best things was the pins and trading cards they give away. It was a fun way to get to know others!

I'm so sad that this years is over and I'm back home If anyone was there and needs a card to finish a set I have a few extras, PM me and we'll see if I can help!

Hi Robinrs!

It was absolutely fantastic! I got there on Thursay afternoon and was given my goody bag (trading card checklist, e-Bay Live pin on a purple lanyard with a star print, e-Bay pen, Passport, a Nikon pin, e-Bay writing tablet, e-Bay Community Conference guide and lots of promo cds from places like Stamps.com, etc)

I attended a few classes. They had all kinds and it was hard to choose what to attend, but I made it to the Nikon class, eBay Stores Overview and Advanced Selling Tips.

Unfortunately on the 2nd day my DD slammed her finger in the car door (it's healing fine now!) and it ended that day short! They had Weird Al sing a song at the Keynote address, which I missed! I found the lyrics on the e-Bay boards:

I've been shipping with priorty mail but now I downloaded the Shipping Assistant and was hoping to use parcel post insted so I don't scare off the buyers with the high shipping price but I must have DC. Also how much is DC for media mail if using the S.A.?

Yes you can print Parcel Post labels and they will be $.13 for DC same for media mail.

Its supposed to be included in what Half charges for shipping.

It didnt sell right? I'd relist it with the Buy It Now again then email both of them so they can bid. Dont shortchange yourself because he supposedly forgot to bid for her.

I agree with Cinders. Asking to buy it for the listing price is a way of getting around ebay's system. Relist it and then email them the link. Tell them if they want it to bid on it or use buy it now. Good Luck!

I have a ? for everyone about something I bought. I bought a set of sheets and bedskirt a few weeks ago from someone and it's really been a nightmare transaction, IMHO.

First of all, I e-mailed before I bid to ask about shipping as it wasn't listed in auction and she sent me a quote back. Then, when I won at the end of auction, she sent a figure for shipping that was nearly $2 higher. She agreed to split the difference with me. When I got the items, two of corners in the fitted sheet were torn (easily fixed, but the items were listed in "gently used but wonderful condition.") Also, the pillowcase was so faded and stained as to be nearly unusable. To be fair, she did send me another pillowcase which was marginally better.

THEN, I went to put the bedskirt on the bed the other day and it is a FULL size bedskirt, not a twin which is how it was listed in the auction. I have asked for a refund and I will send the items back. She says that she will refund AFTER she receives the item. I feel she has given me no reason to trust her and I won't get my refund if I send the items back first. What's everyone's opinion on this. She has left me pos. FB, and I have not left FB yet. I could probably sell the bedskirt and find someone else with a twin one listed. Sorry to ramble, but I just wanted to some other opinions.

As a seller, how would you handle the situation. I try to always be accurate and honest in my descriptions etc., and if I quote someone the wrong shipping price, I will eat the dif. I can understand making a mistake, such as missing the tears near the seams, but the rest seems like dishonesty to me and not "Just a mistake." Any help appreciated. Thanks.
