At least your assured he'll leave the Positive FB

I can't be sure of anything..you would not believe this guys letters. I finally blocked him, both to my email, and ebay.

tried it! I listed 6 items & sold 4! very happy, just now need to get the $$ from the winners! going to try & email paypal some ?s
think that maybe i should sign up with them. What do most of you do? personal account? what type of payments can u accept with personal or business acct? thanks

iNTeNSeBLue98: I just measured my daughter's bracelet that is on her doll. It measures just over 3". I think it's a little small myself. It could be just a tad bigger. Hers came with her American Girl Doll. It has a clasp on it, and it is a pain to put it on. I would suggest making them elastic all the way around. If you made them for the dolls it just gives you more exposure. American Girl stuff is just really popular. If you were going to make them personalized, you can go to the American Girl webpage and get the names of the dolls. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks for the measurement Madi100. I was just discussing this with my boss, who buys AG for her 2 girls. I don't know how I would manage making a bracelet that small with a name for the dolls. I have 3mm pearls and seed beads, but do they make small letters? I'm thinking I could make an 8" or 10" strand and the AG could wear it as a necklace. :) I went to AG.com and they did offer a 10" strand as a necklace so 8" might work...my DD has some 14" porcelain that I could use as "models".

No problem. My daughter got the newest doll, Kailey, and she came with a necklace, anklet, and bracelet. I don't know much about the bracelets and beads, so I can't help you on the size. Maybe you could just do one letter for their initial.

I know you all have probably had enough about my ebay purchasing laments, especially as this is supposed to be a "selling" thread, but one last quick question please!!!!!!!!!!!!

As a buyer, how long do you think is reasonable to expect to wait to receive an item paid for with Paypal? Should the fact that it is Christmas time make any difference (other than the fact that mail delivery is probably a few days slower)??

I purchased/paid for an item on 12/2 from a seller with LOADS of positive feedback. I have emailed several times. The most recent time (today) the email came back as undeliverable. This item was to be a gift. If I don't receive it in time for Christmas would it be reasonable to request a chargeback from Paypal? After all, by Christmas eve it will have been 22 days since I purchased the item.

PLEASE GIVE ME OPINIONS!!!!!!!!

(Since this is the THIRD item I seem to have been "taken" on, I am feeling like an ebay jinx!!)....................P

C.Ann I downloaded that song a while back for my mom, who is a certified Ebay addict.

Funny thing about it is, the song is not too far from the truth.

pjilla - Have you tried to get their info? Maybe it would be worth a phone call? I'm having panic attacks because DD's doll clothing hasn't shown up yet. One was sent ?Tuesday? and I don't remember if that was Priority. The other 3 were sent together Priority but not till Wednesday. We must have better outgoing service -my outgoing was still taking only 2 days. I was hoping that the PM ones would be in my box today but no such luck - maybe tomorrow.

Still no payment from those last two - I guess I will do the NPB on Sunday nite.

I think the fact that you have waited this long is wrong. If I don't recieved something with in 14 days of paying for it, I really start to worry. Check there feed back, I have a feeling, that you are not the only one waiting for something from this person. I bet you will find some negs. And bet they are all trying to get a hold of this person, same as you. That is why you get e-mail them, their inbox is full.

Yes, I think by now you should be getting in contact with Ebay and Paypal. For Ebay, to let them know that they have a bad seller. For Paypal, to get your money back.

Good Luck!

PJLLA -

I recently started selling things on ebay and believe myself to well educated on most things ebay/paypal. When I sell an item, I let the bidders know that I will mail either UPS or USPS 1 - 2 business days after payment is rec'd via paypal. I always e-mail to let them know when their package has been sent and in some cases, give them the UPS tracking information so they will know when to expect their shipment.
Usually, the seller should tell you when it would be shipped and the fact that an e-mail was returned doesn't look good; that happened to me with a small item that I purchased (only $7.00) and I didn't have time to pursue - the seller completely vanished - couldn't find any info on ebay about him/her. I don't believe (but perhaps I am wrong) that paypal will refund your money - you need to get it resolved with the seller and get your money back. If needed, you can contact SQUARE TRADE to act as the mediator between you and the seller, assuming he/she is still reachable. Your can either ask ST to help w/o incurring any cost yourself or pay $20.00 for a more in-depth approach. Good luck - I hope you get your $$$ back - I know how disappointing that is - you could always try to e-mail the seller once more and let them know that you will post negative feedback if they do not respond but I do hope that you can post - on that item I referred to above, since the seller disappeared, I could not post any feedback - it does get frustrating. Good luck and let us know how you make out:)

Well......I have "some" good news. On the item I bought from the guy with lots of feedback. He did finally contact me and said he was sending another item immediately. Gave me the impression that perhaps it was mailed previously, but didn't reach me. I will believe that for now.

Regarding the DVD I bought. Finally received it today. It is an obvious bootleg copy. That doesn't bother me so much as the fact that the quality is so poor that it is un-watchable. It constantly stops and skips. I have emailed the seller and gave them the choice of sending me a better copy or refunding my money, but considering that he/she is disreputable enough to sell bootleg DVDs, I figure I've got a snowball's chance in "an oven" of seeing either. LIVE AND LEARN!!

Regarding the Pal Mickey. Last night I called the number I got when I pulled the seller's contact info. The person answering claimed to be the seller's dad. I was quite polite and let him know that I was "waiting" to receive an item I bought from his daughter. I left my name and number, but am not surprised that I didn't hear from her. Would you call someone if you had screwed them??? Will try calling again in the morning. (Or maybe even now, although it is late.) I did find my copy of the money order. Does anyone know how to start the process of a stop payment or refund? .....................P

It should say on your copy how to do it. If I remember right there is a fee to do that ($10 or some outrageous amount) that in most cases it makes it not worth the time and effort or may even be more then the value of the money order

Hi all, can someone post the link to usps shipping assistant. I need to download it again. I went all over the usps website and for the life of me I can't find it anywhere. TIA

I don't think that's fair. It almost always takes 3-4 weeks to get payment from a serviceman in Germany..I would have waited a bit, or pulled the contact info before selling the item. It's the price you pay when you accept bids form apo. It takes a while for them to get our packages too.
Remember, they may be on a ship or in the middle of nowhere, and have to wait for mail service.
The postmark on the envelope from Germany was 18 days after the auction ended. It actually only took 7 days to arrive, had he answered any of my three emails, I wouldn't have relisted the item.....I had 10 non paying bidders this month alone! I emailed him and told him I could send the item (found one at ToysRUs for $10.00 more than he paid) or his cash back since it would probably take too much time to get it there for Christmas, he opted for the cash, said he can't cash international money orders where he is! It was not an APO delay, actually the mail was fine...it's that he just didn't mail it.

Would it be against ebay rules to include a link to my website containing a form for feature selection (for personalizing my bracelets)?

C. Ann, haven't been on in a few days...just found the thread about Weird Al's song. CAlled my huby in & the kids...turned it up...now hubby wants the song...I'll have to see if I can find it

ON EBAY!
