How cool - we'll be there most of the same time... leave Sat. 1/17 on the 7:30 p.m. SWA flight out of Manchester, and return 1/23 late afternoon. We are DVC members, so check in Sunday and check out Friday, avoiding the high point costs on Fri & Sat. We are going to start out with Pop Century for Saturday night to save points, and just check it out. Nothing about PC appeals to me other than the price and the fact that it is on WDW property! But DH thought it would be fun to try. Maybe I'll change my mind after trying it out.

Snowgod, we will be there also from the 17th to th 23rd. We are staying the whole trip at Pop Century . I'm looking forward to it, but at the same time would like to try Port Orleans.

Back to the subject at hand :) I am so sick of ebay right now. I have sold sooo much in the last couple months, that I am just plain burned out. Has this happened to anyone else? If I wasn't for sure that I was burned out, I received TWO negatives from the same person this week. A person who paid me in two payments for two different auctions. Never requested cheaper shipping. I shipped them together, but at Priority Mail vs. 1st Class. So, I felt I did something for them. They questioned my shipping policy, I answered with an open ended response that they could email me with more questions. Nothing, just negative feedback. So, I left some for them also.

CAnn..did you notice the discount? Are you moving over to Disney property?

What discount?

I'm not even sure we're still going in February - may have to make it the end of April instead.. :(

Good heavens! Who would imagine a crow would fetch that price. Congratulations to you!

You just never know what you'll pick up. I had no idea it was valuable when I bought it. I paid $20 (and thought I'd overspent) for it at an auction and when I got it home and examined it more closely and saw the repair, I didn't think it would sell at all. I figured I'd list it once and if it didn't sell I'd just put it in my granddaughter's Christmas socking. Most of my family is getting at least two or three ebay rejects for Christmas!LOL Other stuff too of course, but they'll all get ebay rejects too.

I listed it on Thanksgiving night and the next day a real sweet woman emailed me and told me it was highly sought after and listed in some collector's book for $2000+! I about choked on my coffee. I didn't think it would get as high as it is now though, because of the repair and I doubt very seriously that it gets to the $2000 book value, nothing ever does and with the repair.....

Anyway, I just wanted to share with you all since it was this thread that got me ebaying to start with. I normally don't post as I'm a thread killer for some reason, but I hope it gives incouragement as you never know what will sell and for how much!

C*O*N*G*R*A*T*U*L*A*T*I*O*N*S!!! That is one awesome way to eBay your way to Disney!

I hope it goes even higher! Good luck!

Jennymouse......that is fantastic!!! I am so thrilled for you!!! I hope there is a major "price war" at the last minute for you...congrats!!!

Well, it took a couple of weeks, but I went through the entire thread.

I just wanted to say Hi to everyone and thank you for the incentive and information to start E-baying. My wife has been rolling her eyes at me every evening while I was reading this thread and copying/pasting information from it into a Word document. I won't know what to do when I only have 1 or 2 pages of new messages to catch up on!

Anyway, as I get more up to speed I will try to contribute to the discussions. Thanks again for all of the great information.

Congrats on your crow! More like gold than crow!

How amazing! I am sure it will bring some Christmas joy to your household and I am sure for that price, who ever buys it will treasure it.

OMG, It went over $1,000 now! How exciting & I'm not even the one selling it! :):hyper:

heehee, it seems to be between two people right now. That one.r person has had his bid in since the start and the other one just keeps bumping it up....come on, bump some more! I wonder what the final value fees will be on this old crow...who cares!LOL

I think we're all excited even though it's not ours! Can't wait to see the ending price!

Wow.... that's great about the crow!! Yeah you!!! (Now if someone would just starting thinking that my old crap...err'... I mean treasures, were "rare and valuable", maybe this e-baying would be worthwhile!! ha, ha!):earseek: :earseek:

Not alot of action at the end, but I'm very happy with my $1006 profit!...less ebay & maybe paypal fees that is. Now my Dad can quit complaining about how much the trip costs!

:bounce: jennymouse! Woohoo! That is fantastic! What a great buy for you!:jumping1:

Congratulations Jenny!
Now that is definitely an ebay success story! :hyper:
