And I thought of another good reason to vote for Bush. I want to help the doctors in our country. In PA we are having such problems keeping our doctors due to malpractice suits. I love my Ob-Gyn and he is still here, but the insurance premiums are really making it difficult. My FIL just had a Quad Bypass and the surgeons were amazing, but they are finding it hard to stay w/ all of the problems. So my DH may not be able to find a doctor if he needs surgery one day.

Edwards is one of the more influential lawyers who is responsible for this mess. Seems like a nice, charismatic guy, but I don't want a malpractice lawyer in charge of our country, esp. one who supposedly spoke as if he was a fetus and one who made his millions off the backs of our good doctors. So a vote for Bush is a vote for our doctors! And maybe if I decide to have another baby, I will have an Ob-Gyn and a hospital to help me deliver.

I have to admit that dh and I are voting for Bush for mainly economic reasons. I hope that doesn't sound selfish of me.

1. I like the tax cuts, i.e. dividend, marriage and death.

2. Kerry has already said he will raise my taxes.

3. I am impressed with how the stock market has rebounded since 9/11. Well, actually it was starting to fall before that.

4. Dh is a physician and has seen what frivoulous lawsuits can do to a medical community. It would be hard for us to see Edwards in office.

5. I think Bush stands by what he believes in. I believe he truly wants what is best for our country.

6. He is pro life. His values mirror mine moreso than Kerry/Edwards.

7. I think he is the best person to handle the war on terror.
