you get invited to a school reunion , would you go?

I have never heard about any and even if I did there is no interest in attending.

Nope. My 10th high school reunion was the night after I got married so I was a little busy Skipped the 20th because by then...no thanks. 30th is coming up next year and I know people are already planning it. I'm planning on skipping again

I went to my 5th and I think my 10th. I didn’t particularly enjoy either one. I was invited to my 30th and declined. I still live in the area and was not busy, but just did not want to go. I think there may have been a 20th or 25th that I didn’t even know about, but heard about later although I’m not sure it was “official”—might have just been 20 or 30 people meeting at a bar one night.

My mom loved her reunions and helped to plan several of them.

This! When I heard about mine it was only because I was Facebook friends with someone planning it, and was added to the group. When I asked other friends if they were considering attending they had no clue about it. It’s all about being invited and who you’re friends with. That’s a red flag to me.

There were no posts if “hey, we’re missing info for the following people…. Connect us!” My dad who graduated 30 years before me, same school did that. But that was back when things were mailed out. Instead we got “tell your friends”.
