You ever meet this Disney Character...

How cool, Nat!! I've never seen Scoop but will have to look for him next time I go.

Pin people scare me though.... ;) :p ;) :p

That is so cool. I had never heard fo him and I do some pin collecting. I too will have to keep that in mind next time I go down :)

I don't know if I've seen him or not. I guess I'll have to go to WDW to see if I have or not.:teeth:

NHMickey, your gardens are incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!

Thank you Laura. Next to Disney collecting it is my next love...

All right, already! You can be CHIEF Assistant Junior Editor for the Main Street Gazette! I can't decide who's more deluded, you or that darling Darlene Dinglinger!

Although I appreciate the publicity, my editor is starting to think things are a little fishy with you and me. Why just the other day there was a Letter to the Editor about the very seminar you write about, but characterized quite differently. In my three years at the Gazette, there have been one or two nice letters about me (Thanks Barbara!), but never a letter "expressing concern"!

The writer felt The One O'clock Pin Talk was not a seminar at all, but just a gathering of me and a few dozen of my close friends, all of whom I knew on a first name basis, and to whom I arbitrarily tossed out multiple Scoop pins.

So now there's a trader out there somewhere who very well may abandon pin trading because they didn't get a pin!

Oh, how I can sympathize! I've felt the exact same way because of some people. It was difficult, but I told them to their faces, and they still didn't fire me.

Thank heaven my editor loves to share feedback on my material. We've agreed that my taking other assignments would improve my odds for more favorable reviews. But then you go and run your article again, and I remember how wonderful so many of your gentle readers are, and how out of control the rumor mill can spin.

So Brother Nat, I want you to know that I will be on Main Street every time you come home to visit. I am not only committed to the One O'clock Pin Talk, I'm committed to making it the BEST of the BEST Friends! (Incidentally, there's a fella calls himself an "Imaginineer" and some other show biz types talkin' of gettin' their hands in it. They ALL agree they can make it better!) And it will be impossible for me to quit outright giving away pins at the seminar. I've found sharing a special pin is quite magical even if there's no audience. And a Magical Moment turns into a Magical Half Hour if you sit and visit and watch me hand enamel a pin for you.

It's really important to me, Nat, that you know I still know the right magic for the right occasion. Even if no one else reads your article, it sure was just the right magic for me!

Thanks Nat for your persistence. It's nothing short inspirational. This is especially true since there are still some people out there who will say just about anything to get a little attention. Thankfully, there has only been one (so far) who will WRITE anything and stop at nothing to obtain a pin.

If any of your faithful readers save their old copies of the Main Street Gazette, maybe you could direct ALL your gentle readers to the original Press Release about the Scoop PTP. Or perhaps someone could try to explain what a Magical Moment is. Like your flattering article, it might be some good news we could use.

My Editor, Mr. Eisandears, needs to pass it on to one of our subscribers. I suggested it wouldn't be a good idea to send it along in a LBE. Or should he?

See Ya Real Soon! (In TOONTOWN!)

Your Pin Pal!

Hi, Scoop! Glad to see you in this little corner of the World Wide Wire. :)

MeanLaureen and I can't wait for the next time we get down to WDW. Even though we've been to your pin talk many times it's still fun to see and a great place to meet different traders. We recommend your seminar to everyone we can.

Why don't you stop by the DIS Pin Chat sometime? Thursday nights at 9:00 PM Magic Kingdom time. The link to the chat room is here.

I'll stop by and chat after the BBQ some night. I have to be at Fort Wilderness till 9. My cousin Tumbleweed Will needs me to be there faithfully for moral support. (Someone might have a pin question, and he knows NOTHING about pins.)

See ya real soon!

There's some neat stuff here. Thanks for helping me find it, Nat! Everything happens for a reason.

Your Pin Pal,
