I guess I wasn't clear, sick kids could go in on Mon & Tues, just not at the same time as the well-baby checks (the little ones) on Wed morning... if you got sick Tuesday after hours, you had to wait until Wed afternoon or go to the ER...

That makes more sense definitely...

...because invariably it's a Friday afternoon...late in the day, or middle of the night on Saturday, or even Sunday morning (or some other off time) when suddenly true sickness arrives...I'm not counting a cold, since those visit so often in this germ infested world of ours. All winter long, it seems, like my DD brings one home with her every Sunday from Sunday School (as if she were bringing a friend over for lunch) - or turns a corner and finds one in the supermarket with her mom while shopping (like those pesky gotta-have, impulse items in the checkout line) - or she even has the nerve to pick one up that one of her brothers just finished with and gave away...to her (darn those hvac systems that filter and recirculate the same nasty air throughout the house, schools, stores, planes or offices we live and work in).
