You can take the kitty out of the barn, but you can't take the barn out of the kitty.

My cat, el Duque, a former barn kitty caught a mouse in our basement last night. DH tried to get him to drop it so he could throw the thing outside. I'm lookin at DH and saying, "he's a cat, he's not going to drop it". Then Dh starts chasing el Duque, who has been renamed "bad boy" by DH, I start chasing DH, and el Duque stops in his tracks, looks at both of us like we're idiots, which of course we are, and swallows the mouse:rolleyes: Guess he showed us....

Oh, i think you are going to see that ,mouse again when you least expect it......chances are it's gonna come up.

No, if he was a barn cat, he has digested those things before! He thought you were after his food!:p

I am with Diane on this one... the poor kitty thought you were trying to take away his food :p Thanks for the laugh this morning :teeth:

My cat would bring me presents. I heard it's because she thought I was too stupid to find food for myself. lol
