You can choose any Resort! Where do you stay?

I'm going to vote for AKL. Sitting out on the balcony with a cup of coffee, watching the sunrise over the savannah with the animals starting to move around was just beautiful. The theming is great...and everywhere. Lots of activities, too...and almost all are free including a tasting tour of Boma.

I certainly wouldn't pick a moderate over a deluxe, but my bank account does! :rotfl:

We have stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort several times ( I think five now...) and have loved it every time. It's fun, the rooms are good sizes and it's convenient to everywhere we want to go. Plus at Christmas, you can hear the Candlelight Processional.

Poly or Contemporary - whichever you can get at a decent rate. If you only have 2 days and intend to spend time at the MK, definitely go for a monorail resort. I think WL is beautiful, but that boat takes forever!!!

The Grand Floridian, castle view is my choice. I have a serious thing for Victorian Architecture and I just think GF is in the most perfect setting.:cloud9:

My vote goes to YC for the closeness to Epcot, and all of the restaurants, and the Boardwalk OR if money is no consideration at all, GF Castle view for the magic, ambience of the GF, and convenience to MK. Plus, tons of wonderful rest. at the GF

I love Poly, stayed there when I was younger w/my fam., love the feel, but, every evening when my family gets back from the parks, we love to soak our tired selves in the hot tub and relax, I have a real problem, no matter how convenient and cool it seems, with paying the deluxe prices and not having a hot tut to relax in back at the resort. May seem silly but is a deal breaker for us w/the Poly.

I love the Boardwalk Inn. I love the proximity to both Epcot and MGM, the fact that there are plenty of places to eat and last time I was there, I had a room that I could watch Illuminations from the balcony.

are you able to walk to MGM too? I've never considered staying there but Epcot is my favorite park, it could be fun.

Polynesian! It is so beautiful and relaxing. Fireworks from your resort cannot be beat. Dining is fabulous as well. I am hoping to take my mom there next year.

GF! If I am splurging and really want top of the line for a special occasion with my wife. Poly or CR if it was for a special occasion with my mom.

I would LOVE to stay at the Polynesian - because it transforms into two vacations. You are a quick boat/monorail ride to the Parks, yet it seems that you are in a tropical oasis with the waterfalls, and lush greenery. I've never been to Hawaii so it may be what draws me to this resort.

Poly with an MK view would be my choice.

I've always wanted to stay there because of the convenience and theming.
Ah, someday...........

I didn't read all the replies, but I read enough to know that I'm in agreement with several people above -- go with an Epcot resort! Only 2 days there, 2 adults (I think), so I'd go with either YC or BWI. That entire Epcot area is gorgeous and convenient to walk into the Epcot countries each night for dinner! Beaches & Cream for ice cream treats by the pool! Drinks on the boardwalk at night! Relax on the beach by the water! Gorgeous and relaxing.
