Trying to catch up on everything.

Great introductions. Can't wait for this report to get started!

Just finished reading your last TR and came here. Can't wait to read all about your trip...your other reports are great!

Thanks! Always nice to have someone around that appreciates fine literature. Or whatever it is that I'm tossing onto the page. :rotfl2:

Thanks! I hope to actually get around to the first update soon!

The last TR has the TOC at the bottom of the first post. I actually remembered to reserve post 2 on this thread for the TOC - not that I have anything to put in it yet. :rolleyes1

I've been following along with Kathy's Girl's Trip TR with you and your daughters - you've got a couple of cuties there!

Wow, let life get in the way for a few days and you end up here. At least I didn't miss anything important....like a picture of Tim.... :rolleyes1

Looking forward to reading along.

Welcome Brian! Good to have you along. And no, there will not be any pictures of Tim. I'm not sure they will get by the DIS' censors. :rolleyes1

I have to apologize for the lack of updates I've had here. Some other DIS related projects came up that needed my attention. Namely, being challenged to run the Walt Disney World 1/2 Marathon in January 2013. In all my life, I've ran exactly one race - the Susan G Komen 5K race in Milwaukee in September of 2011. Tim (that's nice) challenged me as a way for both of us to get back into shape, as well as squeeze in a nice long Disney weekend in January. So if you're feeling up to it, check out the PTR/Training Blog we have going:

Nemesis Challenge: It's OK to Finish Next-To-Last, As Long As I Beat HIM

Now that we have that started, I should be able to shift my focus back here. Thanks for understanding!

I'd be careful about shifting your focus away from your training program. That might be all the opening Tim needs to take advantage.:rolleyes1

Should I change my choice of words ?? Humorous ?? Hilarious ?? Witty ?? Droll ?? Laughable ?? Does that help ??

Thanks again!
I generally expect folks to use the second definition of “funny” when discussing my work.

Now if you’ve survived my “627” TR…
And still haven’t run off screaming into the night…
Might I suggest that you also give my current “NYC” TR a perusal?
(But do so only at your own risk; I can’t speak for my sanity, so I can’t be responsible for that of others).

Cool!
I do believe that I’m the first person to hijack Barry’s current TR in a shameless plug for one of mine (and it’s only on page five, but then again he mentioned one of my other ones first… so thanks for that Barry).

Already signed on to that one.

While I’m thinking about it, are you up for and experiment?
See how many pages along we’ll all follow you TR without you actually having to post an update to the story.

I will have to check that out, thanks.

Hi,:wave2: I have lurked on your last few TRs. They were so much fun! I am looking forward to hearing about your cruise. I am wondering if a Disney cruise would be Disney enough for me and "other stuff" enough for my DH.:confused3

Subbing!! I haven't read any of your TRs yet, but have a feeling I'll be going back to read all your past ones and the brand new Marathon one! :goodvibes

Hmmm, I guess I am already behind before getting started. Time to get the nose to the grindstone...

Thanks and welcome to the TR!
As far as "Disney" enough - yes. There's just as much magic and characters, etc as at Disney World. And enough "other stuff" - of course! Theres tons to do on the ship and the islands. We were there for 4 days and didn't scratch the surface.

Welcome! If you do go back and read them, try not to let them cloud your judgement. This one will actually be good*. :thumbsup2

*As judged by me, but I'm probably biased.

I'm in! From the responses it looks like this is going to be a lot of fun!

Off to read your other TRs while I wait...:cool1:

Kristen

How can this one the the 1/2 PTR be at the same place page wise and the PTR started yesterday. :scratchin

Welcome Kristen!
I see from your signature that you're a pretty avid runner. I'll be attempting my first Disney 1/2 Marathon in 2013. Check out the link in my signature for the PTR/Training blog. Any advice you would like to share would be awesome!
Thanks!

Well, the other one has a co-writer, so if you look at it on a per-writer basis, that one is only at 2 1/2 pages... Math for the WIN! :woohoo:
