You are invited to the Northern Meet: July 24/25th

Hi all -

it's time to start planning for the next Northern Meet. This is a chance for friends from both The Dibb and the Disboards to get together on the beach and have a beer and a chat.

The meet will once again be held on the beach at South Shields, with accomodation available at The Little Haven Hotel

Approximate plan of the weekend - quite likely to change:

Friday Evening: meet up in the bar at the Little Haven
Saturday: Asda run, then onto the beach while praying for dry weather
Saturday Evening: to be arranged, but we will all convene somewhere for dinner and more drinks

Sunday: Back to the Beach
Sunday Evening: Curry Night


I have family and double rooms reserved at the Little Haven, please contact me directly if you want one

For those that live further afield, there are reasonable flights from Gatwick, Heathow (both ba) or Stansted (Easyjet), and we can arrange collection from the airport or the train station.

We've got our flights booked from Stanstead! Flights are about £6 per person each way....plus taxes of course!

no, I think it is £6 + tax, about £36 total
