Do you think they'll allow the winners a bottle of champagne or wine to celebrate thier evening in the suite?

Planning on winning something????

Allow? What? Are you a law abiding citizen now or something? :confused3 Just take it in!!!:thumbsup2
My question is what are they going to do with the suite after the YOMD? Will anybody be able to rent it out for a night for a kabillion dollars next year?

I don't see why/how they would not allow you to bring wine or champagne (or have the butler fetch it for you!). After the YOAMD celebration is over, they are allegedly going to use the suite for fantasy wedding packages.

But they don't have alcohol in the MK. :confused3

I would LOVE to win, but sadly, I think I am ineligible. :sad1:

They don't SELL alcohol in the MK...I see no reason why they wouldn't let you enjoy some in you room (even if it is IN the park).

OK, when will it be available for the fantasy wedding packages?
And is it heavily guarded, or can you sneak out and walk around MK after it closes?:yay:

Perhaps we should put a list of questions together and email them to Guest Services at WDW? :teeth:

The MK is a "dry kingdom". Walt wanted it that way.

When DH & U got married in WDW 10 years ago, we looked at a wedding in the MK. We were told there could be no alcohol at weddings in the MK, because there was "NO alcohol period" in the MK. You could have non alcohol options though.

Not sure if things have changed or not. But they still dont sell alcohol of any type in the MK.

That is why we want to know if you can have a drink in the Castle Suite.

I've been wondering this, too.

I'm a little iffy on the whole castle suite thing to begin with. Being shut inside a room (even if it is luxurious) without the option of leaving to go to a restaurant or wherever would make me feel a little..... trapped. And isolated, too, since no other guests would be around.

Alcohol of some kind would make it a little more tolerable. ;)

Ooh, ohh, I want to be "trapped!"

Being locked in a room in Cinderella's castle and not being allowed to venture out? I'll take it!
;)

Side note: You're puppy is ADORABLE!!

How do you win this suite stay? Do they pick you out of a crowd like other dreams won this year...or is there an official contest you have to enter?

GASP...I DID hit 2000 posts (and then some!) Yay me! How did I miss that??

I believe they said that you will not be able to wander around the park after hours and there will be security, however you can be escorted to and from the castle if you want/need to leave it (got to PI for example).

Even though the castle is IN the MK, it is being treated as a hotel room. Therefore alcohol should be permitted...and sex! You can't have sex in the MK either but I can't imagine they would "stop" you from doin' it in the suite!

:lmao: Can you imagine the security having to monitor that?
