YOLO Part Cruise: Land, Sea and Halloween! Updatedx2 4/27 TRIP VIDEO

Oh my goodness, i can't imagine the headache of keeping up with whose dining/snack credit is whose with a family as big as yours! I'm good with managing 3 people's credits! :rotfl:

ahahah, the awkward moment of running into entertainment cm's out of costume!! :lmao: really though, it always takes a while to recognize them without the make up and wigs, it's happened a few times to me and it's just weird! Even some of my actual friends are completely transformed out of character lol!! hilarity!

Ahaha, the ddp really is enough to tear people apart on vacation!! I was fine when it was just me & Mom, or just the bff & I, but when we went with a group of 4 it was ALWAYS a "you don't have that, that's mine!" kinda thing, and it's just awkward!

Love the shots of the mural!!

Also just have to say that I'm SUPER excited for May when I finally get to MEET YOU!!! :yay: hahahaha! :)

It was weird because he knew we were but didn't think that we knew who he was. Oh but we did!
Us 4 are always good about who has what but when it comes to our family it is a whole other ball game.
I am SO EXCITED about this upcoming trip...it is sooo close!!!!!!

Oh my goodness, i can't imagine the headache of keeping up with whose dining/snack credit is whose with a family as big as yours! I'm good with managing 3 people's credits! :rotfl:

It should be easy because it is 2 separate rooms so it's not like all these credits. But for some reason the last day is a nightmare. Disney needs to now just split up the credits per person on the magic bands.

Walking Right Down The Middle Of Main Street USA

For some reason we thought it would be better to walk to MK instead of taking the monorail.

On our nice walk to the kingdom we were still in the Mary Poppins mood and started singing Let’s Go Fly a Kite. We tried to sing it one word per person but failed terribly at it.

It was getting HOT! The walk always seems like it would be short but it ends up taking longer than anticipated. We made it to the gates and onto Main Street.

First thing we did was get a group photo in front of the castle. We were discussing whose phone we were going to use and the photopass CM stepped in and said that Disney wasn’t Universal and took all our phones.

Our next stop was Starbucks. Alicia and Brittany had one last snack credit to use.

Get the largest size possible…still only a snack credit

I didn’t want to be left out so I got something as well.
With starbucks in hand we made our way down Main Street towards the hub

Classy starbucks and castle shot

Lets all notice the fact that I left Brittany behind as you can see me walking ahead

Once we made it to the hub we took some photos in front of the castle

Shadow selfie

We grabbed some snacks for Ma and Gma from a nearby cart. Ma wanted cotton candy and Gma was some glazed almonds. After stocking up on snacks we headed back down Main Street and to the confectionary. There Brittany purchased some of her favorite snack in Disney…the Minnie mouse bakeshop cookies.

Then it was time to say goodbye to the Magic Kingdom.
So we hopped on a boat and headed back to Fort Wilderness

When we arrived back at the fort Alicia and Andy played a friendly game of tetherball. It was quite amusing

Our last moments soaking up the cuteness and homie feeling of Fort Wilderness

Of course we had to take our mandatory sister photo in front of the sign

But this time Brittany decided to photo bomb us.

We found our family and gave Gma and ma their snacks.
Gma took no time at all and started digging in

We all got on the bus back to the front of the resort. While on the bus we discussed how we use to stay here when we were little. Ma said it was good for us since we are a big family we were able to grocery shop and make our food rather than spending big bucks on Disney food prices. (Now a days however we get the dining plan because we all pay for our own) Then we talked about how we then had to stop staying on property because Kiss was born and we didn’t fit in a cabin. That’s when we moved off property. But as Ma and Pa always say “You may have had to share chicken nuggets or stay off property but at least you got to go to Disney”

We got off at the bus stop and headed to the check in area. We were waiting on Danielle and Adam…because they are always the last ones to show up.

Before we left fort wilderness for good I wanted to get a photo in front of the real Fort Wilderness sign, this time including kiss with us sisters because it was his first stay ever. Unfortunately our Disney Family vacation wouldn’t be complete without Danielle and Adam showing up late for the Magical Express…which means the photo op never happened.

Instead we got our luggage and headed to the bus

We said our goodbyes to Alicia and she was on her way. I believe her roommate picked her up.
Goodbye Disney it has been a MAGICAL TIME!

It All Comes To An End...But One Last Plank!

After boarding the ME we took a ride over to Riverside to pick up other guests. On the ride there the driver was telling us that the CM was lying to us about Southwest being down. They lied because we had too much luggage…

We made it to Riverside and waited for the other sad guests to load onto the sad express…not to mention that it was a cruise line bus. Let’s go to Port Canaveral instead!

This was the point of the trip where Andy gets quiet and doesn’t talk

But then he yelled at me and Brittany because he didn’t want his picture taken

Pa had a man to man talk to him…about what who knows?

The moment we left Riverside was the moment our next countdown began. Brittany and I knew that we would be returning to the riverside in May after our graduation with her parents. SEE YOU REAL SOON RIVERSIDE!!!!

The ride to the airport was not exciting nor entertaining.
Once we arrived to the airport the nightmare began. Lugging all that luggage around was literally the death of me and I had no fun what so ever. But our luggage got checked and we headed up stairs to check the ear-port.

Snow white you are so beautiful…

And then this happened :rotfl:

We browsed the shop and Kiss ended up purchasing a Mickey watch.
While everyone was making their last minute purchases we decided to hang out with Goofy

Brittany thought it would be a great idea to plank goofys leg…and the first time she almost flipped right over to the other side

But she stuck her landing

Then for some reason we all hung out in front of the ear-port before going through security

We headed through security and it was literally a maze. They had so many lines that split so we all split up and played a game of who came back it through the scanners first.

Of course I chose the wrong line but it was ok because both Gma and Andy got stopped and had there bags search. Why? Because they put the lovely FE gift Animators Palate butter knife in their carry ons. The funny part about this was that Brittany also but the paintbrush butter knife in her carry on and wasn’t stopped. Everything worked out and they were able to keep them.

We traveled as a pack to the monorail to the gate

When we arrived at the gate we found some seats. Gma showed us what she received in her FE, which was different from what we received even though exchanged with the same group of people. She got a cute Disney countdown (which I would assume was for Jackson, but Gma kept it). After that I uploaded more photos and videos onto my computer and enjoyed some Caesar salad Ma had left over.

We boarded the plan at 5:30 and soon we were ready to take off.
The pilot was telling some funny jokes while giving the safety spiel. It made everyone listen carefully throughout it and made it entertaining. One thing he said was about the oxygen masks, how once you have placed yours on and you have more than one child choose the child who has more potential.

I slept pretty much the whole way home and woke up shortly before landing.
We touch back down to earth and our trip finally ended. We got off the plane and headed to baggage claim. There we met up with Brittany’s mother. Her parents ended up giving me a ride home because whoever picked up my family didn’t have enough room.

When I got home the Disney depression set in and it was time for me to book another trip.

This concludes Yolo Part Cruise
This trip was a trip of a lifetime! I cannot preach enough how much everyone should go on a Disney cruise at least once in their lifetime. We STILL talk about the cruise and how I need to get back on the Dream. I like to say you haven’t done a Disney cruise until you’ve done a Members cruise they literally spoil you.
I would like to once again thank Poison Ivy and JohnnyQuest for getting us on the Dream.
Here’s to another Disney family vacation in the books and more to come in the future!

Thank you all for reading along! Until next time :wave2:

thank you for writing. as always, it was entertaining, humorous, had lovely photos, and of course planking. what is a YOLO trip without planking? before i had no interest in a cruise. but after reading your trip report i am slowly coming around. have a good and safe trip in May. hopefully there will be a trip report forthcoming.

What a fantastic wrap up!! I love the extra little bit of time in MK, even if its just to walk down main st and pick up snacks!!

AWE MAN!! We were originally going to stay at Riverside in May!!! But when we changed dates for the 24hr event the cost jumped WAY too much (plus we had 2 people bail) so we switched!! SO CLOSE to being neighbours lol! I do hope I get to stay there again!

Great wrap up!!

I cannot wait to read all about your next trip and hopefully actually meet all of you guys!! It's going to be an awesome time!!! Also, your cp's all start in May, right? When do they end? I don't start til Oct lol!!

Another great trip report, thanks for sharing!

Heading to MK one last time looked like a great way to finish off the trip.

Ahh the post Disney depression is the worst, but at least you get to go back real soon!

Great wrap-up. I will be on the look-out for your further adventures.

Thank you for sharing your vacation with us. I look forward to reading your next trip report.

Just finish lurking and I loved it! You guys look like so much fun and I love seeing other people my age put up reports. I've been dying to get my friends together for a trip but no such luck yet. I also love the shoes. I started a toy story pair a few months ago but have yet to finish them. Thanks for getting me even more pumped for my trip in May!

Wahhhh I can't believe it's over! I think this was my favorite trip report of yours so far! The cruise was just awesome. Can't wait to hear about your next trip!

Thank you so much for sharing your adventures with us!! I love it. And I love how important it was for your parents to take you to WDW as you were growing up...I have the same mentality!!

Hope you had a great 22nd birthday and last day of student teaching! I know you've been singing "22" a lot...I hope your year is more magical than miserable!! :good vibes I suspect it will be with your upcoming CP!!

Another great TR, Sam!! I really enjoyed following along, as I don't follow many Cruise TRs and I am really trying to convince DH we should drop the bucks on a Disney cruise instead of another cruise line. It seems like y'all had so much fun!

Just loved your report, helped me relive the DVC Member cruise! Last week, I went to the Disney on Broadway 20 Year celebration, Josh Strickland and Ashley Brown were there, as part of the show. I felt so fortunate to have seen them perform on the cruise. Good luck to all of you in the Disney College Program!!!! So excited for you!

Thank you so much. My birthday was lovely and it was nice to share it with my students on my last day. 22 will now be my anthem for the next 363 days :rotfl:

Thank you so much! YES! It is so worth it...I mean I have never been on another cruise line ship but a Disney Cruise was so worth it.

Thank you so much! That must have been an awesome event. Those 2 are my favorite and I am so happy that I could watch them all perform live. Thank you so much I am excited to see how that experience goes!

Oh my gosh its SOOOOO SOOON like, legit! Jenna & I are going to the audition the Thurs before the 24 hr event so we're coming down earlier than I thought we would and it's creeping right on up!!

YAY!!! Okay, we definitely have to meet up more than once between Oct and Jan then!!! :cool1:

As always, what a wonderful TR! I'm so sad it's over. I have to say that the leaving part was especially sad when I read Alicia was picked up by her friend and you guys were splitting up. For a moment there, I forgot that she wasn't going home with you guys. But since it's already late May, I'm super happy that you are going back so soon especially since you graduated! Congrats! Hope to see more pics on IG while you're there! I feel as if EVERYONE is there now or going soon, and hubs and I don't have a trip planned. So sad~ oh well, guess I'll have to live through all of your excitement!
