I posted this in the YOAMD thread, but did not get any replies :confused3
So, I'm hoping perhaps it just did not catch the interest of my fellow Canadians!!

Here's what I'm after...
It's costing me $0.92 (plus taxes) for the stamps... let alone the cost of post cards. I'm starting to wonder if it's worth my while to mail in...

Any Canadians won anything by mail yet?!

I mailed in only two post cards several months ago, but no luck:sad1:
I bought a whole pack of stamps with the thought of mailing a couple a week, but with planning the upcoming trip, I never got around to it.
Maybe we'll be extra lucky and win something when we're there in a week:banana:

I won a lanyard back in the summer. I don't remember how many postcards I had sent in - I'll have to go back and check my stamp receipts. I ended up getting mouse ears instead. I think whoever was packing my box wasn't paying attention - the customs label said there was a lanyard. It's really too bad that Canada Post doesn't have a post card rate like the US does. I stopped sending them in after a while because I started to miss my morning coffee :)

I sent in 10 post cards in May/June. At the end of August I got a phone call from a Disney representative saying that I had won and that I had to answer a skill testing question as I was from Canada. After I told her the correct answer to the mathematical skill testing question she told me I had won a lanyard and two pins. They came by Canada post registered mail about 3 weeks later.

The silver lanyard has "Where my dream came true" written on it in blue lettering. The pins are Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Goofy and Donald Duck and has the castle in the center and reads "where my dream came true Walt Disney world year of a million dreams"

Just recently I sent in 5 more post cards hoping to win something bigger, like DVC.

I won both a pin and lanyard set and a pair of dream ears different months. I was mailing post cards in every day (Monday to Friday) before I changed jobs since there was one on my way to the office. It worked out to me pretty much winning 2 prizes in 4 months. I'm trying to find a mailbox close to my new work so I can start sending the cards out again! I never win ANYTHING so this was exciting to me. I'm glad I did it too since we didn't get any dreams on our September trip.

Thanks to everyone for the replies - will be showing DH :goodvibes

I had been watching the other thread for wins, but almost everyone was US based... so this helps!
