Yo Ho, Yo Ho, A Pirate's Life for Three... C 32, P 39 - The End...Or Is It?

Okay, I might REALLY end up in the papers if I get that same TSA agent when we fly down there. I am notorious for being UBER SNARKY when snarked at.

Who'll bail me out?!

What a carptastic reentry to the real world. I think they need a reentry program for Disney go-ers. It's cruel to throw us back to the sharks after a blissful, magical vacation!

Seriously. They should include it on the flight with the airplane safety brochure.

I had a snarky TSA agent at Orlando airport too! She was giving me a hard time about a tiny trial size tube of lip gloss that I took out of my bag but didn't have a plastic bag for!! They pulled me aside, made open the lip gloss, did some kind of pH paper test on it and finally decided that it was indeed a Think Pink lip gloss freebie from Sephora. And she was rolling her eyes the whole time. Oy indeed. :headache:

Your mom and nana sound like smart ladies. Looking forward to your Dec adventure!

Ugh. It's so frustrating sometimes.

Mom and Nana are great. Not to say that we don't clash sometimes...:rolleyes1

Me, me, me! :rotfl2:

Ugh! carppy snarrky!

I once tried to ask a security guy I knew what it was about me that caused me to set off their "profiler" alarms - at the time I was a single 20-something blonde, single, flying alone, round-trip passenger, no record to speak of - not even a speeding ticket, it was pre-9/11 but after gulf war (so moderate screening but not much) I flew a lot, and I was always pulled aside at the metal detector for further screenings - even if I didn't set off the alarm -

I must have hit the trifecta of some stereotyping terrorist/drug dealing checklist or there must be a really scary Rebecca Myers out there somewhere

whatever it was my friend wouldn't tell me - he must have taken a snarky oath to get the job :rotfl:

Anyway, I am rambling... sorry your report is about over - good thing we've still got "Royal me this" to look forward to!!!

Well, my sweets, we've reached the end.

Which is really only the beginning. Savvy?

This trip was more than I could have ever imagined. And no matter how many times any member of my family may work in a somewhat less than nice comment about how we kicked everyone out and took this vacation on our own, I just won't let it make me feel bad.

As a matter of fact, I don't feel bad about it all.

I don't feel badly about taking a trip just the three of us.

I don't feel badly about spending the money on the Wilderness Lodge.

I don't even feel badly about some of the struggles we had with DS while we were there.

Because it's all part of life.

It's all part of the great circle, part of the choppy waters, part of the mystery.

It's Disney. And it's one of the best things I do with my family.

And this was truly, hands down, one of the best if not the best vacation I've ever been on. The only thing that comes close is my honeymoon.

Just me and my boys.

A Pirate's Life for Three.

Now you're probably all wondering, is that it?

Is that really the end? Or is there a little surprise at the end of the credits. A little teaser of things to come.

Well, if you really stay all the way until the end, you won't be disappointed. Because as I said, the end is only the beginning anyway.

Now bring me that horizon...

Fantastic wrap-up, TK! It certainly sounds like it was a magical vacation and I've loved being along for the ride. Now on to new adventures! pirate:

Okay, in my "falling-all-over-myself" rush to get over to your PTR (only to end up on page two ;)), I forgot to comment on your great closing.

I am so glad that despite the bumps in the road you had a great vacation -- and I am so stoked about the next one that you get to take. :goodvibes

WAY cool ending!!!!:thumbsup2

Which is, of course, not really an ending at all. Whether you can see it yet or not, there's always another adventure right around the corner.

Savvy?

(hey that's some good advice, I should apply it to my own life, huh?!!:rotfl: )

.

Okay. That's it. How did I miss this too? But at least it explains why I missed the PTR start and why I was regulated to Page 2. SOB!

I guess that is the hazard of DISing at work, I have to be distracted by work and not give the DIS my full attention.

I am so happy that you enjoyed your Pirates Life for Three and I am super glad that you don't feel guilty because you shouldn't.

Treasure your memories!

Thank you, CP. It really was a wonderful vacation, and even more wonderful to have all of you along as I remembered it.

WAY cool ending!!!!:thumbsup2

It is good advice.

Trust me, every now and then, I come out with a rare jewel like that. ;)

Treasure your memories!

That's it right there.

"Not all treasure is silver and gold, mate."

Hi TK! I just watched Pirates for the umpteenth time today - I love that last line - and yours. :thumbsup2
