I have been very, very busy today with all of my Disney planning.
I took a break from my TR and decided to get movin' on additional planning for September.
I called Disney today to get details on all of their cruises.

I want to be prepared so that I can just call on the 90th day and get it set up fast. I am calling to do the tour first then I will call and do the dining. I am just hoping that I will not lose too much time while scheduling the tour and then get closed out of some of our dining choices.
FIrst I called dining to find out if Kouzzina has an opening date yet. She said that so far, no, but it should be some time in the fall. I really want to go there and check it out.
While I had her on the phone I asked why there is a new option if you are making CM or CRT ressies. She said that so far these two places have not been switched into the new dining system so if you need these ressies you have to be sure to press whatever it is they tell you to press during the recording.
I also asked her what, in her opinion, are the three hardest ressies to get right now. She shocked me with Chef Mickey's.

She also said the obvious CRT and Le Cellier. I asked her if she thought that free dining would make it even harder and she said that it would for sure.

She said that while people do cancel, free dining means longer waits on hold, etc. I am a bit freaked aobut it but what can I do?
I then called and talked to a really wonderful CM about the Wishes cruises. I told him that I want to surprise my husband

for our anniversary but that I wanted to get every option down before I call back on the right day. I am going with a 10 person pontoon boat at $319 which includes tax.
I asked about having a cake delivered from GF Bakery. I told him that I read that you have to eat there for them to even deliver anything and he said that if we get the GF dock that they would deliver it to the boat. He said that when we book they will give me the number for the GF Bakery and catering so I can schedule all that. I figure that if I can't get it delivered there or if it costs an arm and a leg to do so, I will just get the cake at dinner and then tell him then that we are going on a Wishes Cruise right after dinner.

I just hope that I can get the ADR at a good time too so we can go from one place to the other, especially if I am hauling around a cake.

and the cake that I want, to boot!
I have also spent the last couple of hours working on the mother of all spreadsheets. It outlines a ton of information for me including where we are going on what day, what meals are oop and what are on the plan and for those oop, what is the discount, what is the tax, etc. I now have to add a last column for the approximate tip. Going through all this and having the free dining package I now know for sure that the dxdp is definitely not worth it. When I look at the TIW discount and all that, it seems that the total OOP should be under 400 but if I add the dxdp it would be $576. It's a no brainer for me.
