Yo ho, yo ho, a bounceback life for me LEAVING TOMORROW 9/12!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish I was a little more organized than I am.. I can remember in past when waiting behind someone at check in at the resort and they pull out a binder and I think "man thats nice.. I need to do that next time" and then I never do

I think for my trip with DH I will do this.. actually I NEED to do this as there will be so much going on I will need to be organized..

Oh I was excited today when I found some park maps that I got last trip.. You know I have them out so I can look at everything I want to do.. :cutie:

The binder is actually a fun project that keeps me busy while the time passes before our trip. I like to be organized too and sometimes it drives Joe nuts but ...that's me. I think you will like having one. :goodvibes

I do the same thing. In fact, I keep a set of maps from a past trip at work so when I am having a bad day, I close my door for 5 minutes and look at a map. I also have the MK loop on a flash drive so I listen to it at the same time. :goodvibes

Ok, so I am way too excited not to share. :dance3: My wonderful husband gave me my birthday gift today, which is like three weeks early. Here it is:

BirthdayGift022.jpg

I of course freak at the mere thought of spending money on anything non-Disney but I was assured that it was on sale....mega sale actually, like almost 70% off. :woohoo:

Thats a very pretty ring! Id say your DH did good :goodvibes

Happy early birthday..

OMG!!!!! You're so organised!!!!!!! I live in a constant state of..........well it's not a midden, but it's definately not tidy. :rolleyes1 My mum twitches whenever she comes round (I swear she has OCD), she's already talking about coming round to do housework for me when she retires!!! :headache: :headache: :guilty:

Your ring is lovely! Good for Joe!  Have a Very Happy Birthday when it comes!

Thanks. I just go nuts when either of us spends money on a non-Disney activity. :)

Hi Di,

I try and be organized as best that I can. I think it comes from my mom being that way and from having a small home. If I'm not organized, I'm in trouble.

Thanks for the birthday wishes!

I can't seem to concentrate today. :sad1: I have picked up my Passporter 10 times to see if I can't finally decided on a place for our anniversary dinner. So far, no luck and it is driving me nuts. :scared:

Sometimes I wonder if I should just go with my instinct and with what we like or try something new? Should I pay attention to what I read or just go with what we think we will like? Do I listen to someone that has been where I want to go or ignore them if they had a bad experience? :confused3 My frustration level is incredible and right now I am glad that I have another three months before I can make ADR's because I am all over the place with my selections.:confused3

I did manage to work on our CM thank you cards and the Mousekeeping envelopes today. Did not get them all done but I did get a good head start.:flower3:

I never got around to getting my iron on transfers for dark t-shirts yet. :sad2: I have a slew of them left for white shirts from last year. I am trying to finalize what shirts I want to make so that I can get that done too. Yeah, I am obsessed with planning ahead.:rolleyes1

I also need to get in gear and talk to my brother so that he knows what the plans are for our May trip. I keep forgetting about that. :upsidedow Not sure how, but I do. That trip is over Memorial Weekend plus one day. I need to figure out when he is arriving, etc. I told him that if he isn't close to our arrival time that I'm putting him on ME. :lmao: I have that itinerary already set up and ADR's are made so I think we're all set there.

I'm still looking for dining suggestions for our anniversary dinner so keep them coming.............

Try not to stress. Go with what you think you both will like. If it doesn't turn out to be nirvana it's not the end of the world, you'll both be experiencing it together & that's what's really important :goodvibes .

Our mantra for motorcycling is "the delays are part of the journey" meaning that no matter how meticulously you plan a ride out, sometimes things will happen that you just didn't plan for. Those things just become a part of the whole experience. While I am sure that no matter where you end up having your anniversary dinner will be wonderful it will be the perfect place just by virtue of you both being there, together ;) .

Now, about that ring! Hubba, it's gorgeous...and how sweet that your DH couldn't wait the three weeks to give it to you.

Meanwhile, our 15 year anniversary is Wednesday & my better half is getting me a new pair of skates so that I can try out for roller derby :lmao: .

I think you're right. I just need to decide on a place and go with it. Right now I think it will be Spoodles. :upsidedow

DH is not good at holding on to surprises. He tends to let loose. He's the one wanting to open Christmas presents 5 days before Christmas. However, he is great when it comes to our anniversary. Surprises galore while we are at WDW. :lovestruc

OMG, I don't think I could stand on skates at this point in my life! I'd win the grand prize on America's Funniest Home Videos for sure! Have fun with them! I envy anyone that can do stuff like that!

I love your ring! What a great hubby!!

I need to learn how to do the iron-on transfers. Please post pictures of your shirts when they're done!

Hello,
I've been lurking on your thread for awhile and wanted to say hello and that I've been really enjoying it.
I love all your scrapbook pages- I wish I had the patience to do something like that.
We'll be heading to disney in Sept also for my DDs 6th birthday.

Thanks. I like it too.:)

It was easy to do the iron ons that I did last year but they were white shirts. I'm going to try dark ones this time. Once I get them done, I will post pics. There are instructions on the transfer box that tell you how to do them and I just followed that.

Hi Dawn :wave2:

:welcome:

Yay :yay: a new reader!!!

Scrapbooking relaxes me so when I am super stressed I tend to spend the day (as long as it is a weekend) scrapbooking. I've only done it for about a year now and hope to get better with more experience. :)

So when are you going in September exactly? We're putting a DIS meet together so let me know if you are interested!

Thanks for joining!

Hi Sophia,

I agree with Nina - go with your gut, as long as you're together and the food is edible......it's all good!

You'll get good & bad reviews of every restaurant as everyone has different likes/dislikes, just go with what feels right for you. :wizard:

As for Nina - you go with the roller derby!!!!!! :woohoo: It'll be great fun! My fav programme at the moment is Dancing on Ice (like Strictly Come Dancing - I think you call it Dancing with the Stars) but on ice. It's great - that's my dream - to be taught ice skating by Torvill & Dean and get to do all the fancy moves!

Di x

I agree to go with your own gut feeling on the dining choice.. Its so hard to say because what one person thinks is good, another might not..

I think there are tons of wonderful places to dine at Disney and Im sure you will be happy with whichever place you choose..

Hope you're having a great weekend.. Your trip will be here before you know it..

Thanks! I'm now wondering when Cat Cora's place is going to open. I'm really looking forward to trying her place. I'm Greek and love the food so it looks fabulous from what I have read. It's replacing Spoodles which is where we ended up decided upon for dinner so we'll see.

Sophiaaaaaa

I'm back!

Sorry for my MIA status

Congrats on the weight loss & the new ring. Lucky woman ;)

I cant wait for CM on the 13th. let me know when exactly & I'll be sure to book our reservations this week :)

I *love* your cards. I wanna make up some for us now too. Its such a cute idea!

I also love the fact you are all about the Passporters too! he he. I carry mine everywhere! (I'm obsessed.... yeah..) :rotfl2:

I promise not to drop off the face of the Earth again & I cant wait to meet you :mickeyjum

Yay, you're back!:yay:

We're looking forward to meeting you too. There will be three of us and Jenn had four, counting Jack, who doesn't count....if that makes sense. :rotfl: Jack is under three. :) It's going to be great to meet you on the 13th. What a fun way to start our trip!

Not much exciting news to report this time but I feel like talking to myself or anyone that is still reading along with me. DH is sick of hearing it already. :scared1:

So, Photobucket is my nightmere right now. It seems that I can no longer access my account. I log in and it times out. I am working with their support techs to see what the issue is because I can see everything fine from my work computer. :confused3 When I go to my PTR or any of my ther TR's, I see giant white spaces where pictures should be. I don't get the photobucket thingy that says that the picture is no longer available, blah blah blah...just a giant blank space and it is making me NUTS. I worrry about not being able to post any more pictures here or on my future TR's which is making me mad. I hope that they can figure it out but for now they are saying that they cannot replicate the issue. I just asked if there are issues reported with any Windows updates...maybe that's it.... :confused3

I did get my customized maps yesterday! YAY!:banana: I was doing the dance but DH could care less. Says we don't need maps. :confused3

Friends just returned from a 4 day trip with no planning done before they left. :scared1: I thought for sure they were going to come home and hate it. Thank goodness for Facebook....I kept sending messages with suggestions and tips! Turned out they LOVED it and now my friend may surprise his wife and take her back over Memorial Weekend.

Question for any AP reader out there. I can't remember....can you book more than one room off the AP discount and does the AP holder have to stay in the room? I am thinking if not, I can see if there are any more deals at POP like the one I was able to get in case he decides to go for it. :)

This weekend for sure I want to get my t-shrits at least started. Mom, DH and I went to WalMart and got all of the iron on transfers. They are the only place around here that even has the darn things. I also got a ton of t-shirts...well, maybe not a ton but 9 white ones and 3 black ones. Not sure how to make the black ones because I have to invert the page and stuff and that is so over my head. :sad2: Gonna try though and when I get ours done if my friend Jenn tells me what she wants (hint, hint) I will make hers too....and gee, maybe I can deliver them when I go and visit her next month. ;)

Oh, I got a Mickey statue for my garden. Interesting thing...I saw it on line for around 25 bucks. I got it for $6.99 at a local discount store. :woohoo: I was hoping that they had more than one kind so that I could get a few for my garden this year. Very cute. I'd post a picture but you know that story already. :sad1:

I was talking to DH again about ADR's. Special conversation...to say the least! I asked him about our anniversary again because I keep obsessing about it and his response was.......how the he** do I know what I will be hungry for on September 17th at around 6 p.m.? :lmao: Apparently I am making him nuts with all of this obsessing.

Any one come up with any more ideas for an anniversary gift for DH? I am thinking another stein from the Germany pavillion and if I can do it....an Illuminations cruse for all of us. I really, really want to do that...big time! My mom wants to take a tour but I'd rather do a cruise this year if we can afford to. Mom's getting me Disney dollars for my birthday so who knows,,,,,,

That's it for now.........:dancer:
