Yippee skippy! Finally booked our flights at just 2 months out!

I have been waiting and waiting for our flights to drop on AirTran. Well, just one. The flight down has been sitting at $120 for months and months. But the flight home has been $85 then higher, then back to $85 for a while now. I just didn't want to pay the $120 down. Well, after checking daily (several times usually) I just jumped on and the flight down was at $95. So I bought! WHEW!!

So, for the 4 of us including seat assignments was $853.40. And I had 2 Little Debbie discount coupons so paid $833.40 total. Not the cheapest we've paid (that was Sept 2001) but I'm happy as today is August 14th and our flight down is October 14th! Now if only the rental car rates will drop!

Oh, this was LEX to MCO and back on AirTran. Nonstop both ways. Exact flight times we needed.

Congrats! That's great price. I'm always a little nervous until I've booked both my room and my flight. I usually book my room for a few extra days and that way once I book my flights I can adjust my room stay. Of course, I need to do this 45 days out and for me that's Aug. 24th. Just checked on SW and for 3 of us, RT, from California (ONT) to MCO is just about $900 so not too bad, especially with 2 free bags per person. Now I just have to see if my DM will be staying the whole 10 nights or going home earlier?

Forgot to add we will be there from Oct. 8th-18th. F&WF here we come with free DDP SC to use!
