I have just had an email from Rosa at Paramount travel. 30 Fun in the Sun is now available. Adult price $311, child $251 plus $30 delivery. :bounce:

What's the best way to order the FITS tickets. Should I phone or email Rosa ? What's the procedure you would recommend.

Thanks
Holly

Rosa's email to me:

The adult price is $311.00 and children ages 3 - 9 $251.00 plus a $30.00
delivery fee.

To order the tickets you could call us at 407-472-0008 or email your
information to us ( name, mailing address, phone number, credit card number,
expiration date and how many tickets).

Thank you,
Rosa

When I ordered them last year, she needed a photocopy of my credit card faxed to her before she could issue the tickets. They then arrived within a week. Great service and Rosa is very helpful and freindly to talk to.

Although I don't relish the faxing etc that I did last year, is it safe to send credit card details in an e-mail?
If it is, it'll be much easier... Presumably we'll still need to fax the credit card imprint. I seem to remember last year Rosa asking me to fax both sides of the credit card. I refused on security grounds, which Rosa (and Paramount) seemed to accept. Although I did fax the front to them.

bought our FITS tickets through Rosa, and faxed both sides of my credit card as requested.

I highly recommend Rosa, as nothing is too much trouble for her.

Yippeee ............ another step closer to Disney !!

I've just asked my DH (who is in IT), and he recommends Faxing credit card details rather than email, as it is harder to intercept.

Holly,
It's not so much it being intercepted that worried me, but if an unscrupulous person in Florida got hold of both sides of your credit card, including the 3 digit number on the back, they could fraudulently use your account. I'm sure that Paramount are legit though, and there won't be a problem.

We've had problems with fraud on our return from the States a couple of times, once in Chicago and the other in Florida. Luckily the credit card company spotted something dodgy and the card was cancelled before it got out of hand. After a few months of investigation accross the Atlantic, it was sorted.

We now have a credit card put aside for US holidays only. We use it for flights, attraction tickets and spends. After each major transaction we pay it off and put it away until the next time, this way we can keep a track on fraud, should it happen. I used the card this evening to pay Rosa and as soon as the statement arrives I'll pay it off - but in the meantime every other day I'll check the account on the internet to make sure all is above board.

Thanks for the info.

I rang rosa this afternoon and bought 3 tix, gave my amex details over the phone. She e-mailed me a letter of authorisation to sign which only had the last 4 digits of my card no. on it, which I signed, scanned and e-mailed back to her.

Easy Peasy (I hope)

At the bottom of the letter of authorisation, did it ask you to send a copy of your credit card (front & back) ?

Thanks
Holly

I have just ordered mine and they don't need a photocopy of the credit card anymore. They send through a form by email to sign, you can either fax it back or scan it in and email it back.

Many thanks for the heads-up on the FITS tickets. I've just ordered two for my parents this summer.

Regards
