Well, just got a little surprise yesterday from my wife. No, not that kind of surprise

She let me know that even though we have our 2nd trip to DVC planned sometime in late January, we also must attend (darn it) a 'business' meeting from January 5th-7th for her employer! That's not all...guess where it's going to be held...at the Yacht Club! Oh yeah! Time to add another countdown to my sig below.

Boy, I'm glad that I'm getting some good news as I certainly needed it. I'm currently recovering from gallbladder removal surgery and it's been tougher than I thought it would be.

At any rate, just wanted to share the good news with my DISboard family.

Congratulations! On your upcoming trip, not the gallbladder surgery . I hope you're feeling better soon. Did they allow you to hold on to your hats and glasses during surgery?

I hope you get well soon and I am so happy for your good news. This is my 2nd year w/o a vacation in Disney (due to childbirth in Sept) and it'll probably be another year before we can go.... bummer. Wish I had your good news as well. But I'll just have to live vicariously thru the Disboards. Congratulations to you!

Lucky duck!! My husband just came home Thursday from open gallbladder surgery on Tuesday. He's slow recovering, too. I hope you're feeling great by January!

Wow, me too. I had my surgery on Tuesday morning. Since it wasn't 'open' I was able to leave by mid-day Wednesday.

But, I'm sure glad that I got this good news to 'help me' along in my recovery. You know, plannin' a little trip to WDW sure does take your mind off of the aches and pains.

I already have a "Keys to the Kingdom" tour set aside for one of the days that I'll be flyin' solo (my wife is actually there on business) so that should be fun.

Hope the best for your husband because I definitely know what he's going through right now!

He's definitely jealous that you had the laproscopic one. He was hoping that would be his case, but it was just too bad for them to do it that way. He can feel your pain, too. It's no fun, but what are you going to do? We have a little quick trip planned in early May for 2 nights. I would love to hear about your tour when you are back.
