YIKES we need to add one to Cinderella lunch!

We are going in 2 weeks and was originally a trip for my best friend , her DD 5 and my DD 4. We have a lunch res at Cinderellas Table. My friends DS 12 broke his arm and now can't go to camp, so he is coming on the Mommy/Daughter trip with us. My friend couldn't get him added to our lunch res. Are we SOL on this one or is there a chance they can take him when we walk up...poor guy. I don't think my friend wants to leave him on his own while we eat which I understand.

The only other time available that day for 5 was at 9pm, which is too late for our little princesses. SIGH.

That could be tough. Adding a fifth person means a bigger table. If you were looking to add a fourth to a group of 3 you would probably be fine, but 5 is a problem.

Might want to think about changing your dinner plans for the evening. Or at least having a back up plan in case they won't take him as a walk up. Which could be a problem because you have to cancel ahead of time I believe or you lose your deposit.

Phone WDW-DINE and explain the situtation to a CM there!

I had phoned WDW-PLAY to cancel our Segway tour now that the kids are most likely coming with us. I explained why I was cancelling and mentioned that now I had to try to hunt for ADRs for 4 people. The CM I spoke to offered to ADD the kids to our dining reservations!!! I couldn't believe it. Unfortunatly I had cancelled most of them already, but still had my Garden Grill ressie. I checked it later and sure enough he changed it from 2 people to 4 people. Same date, time and reservation #!!

Friend explained the situation and they were very sorry but they are completely booked and can't add more people due to fire regulations.....oh well.

We were able to get dinner at Park fare so that is our backup.

I am bummed we never stay onsite and don't do the dining plan so when we eat its out of our pocket...when I go with DH, we think CRT is too much. I was hoping this would be OUR TIME...maybe it will maybe not. We do love Cinderella, so its all good I guess.
