I have been thinking.....
hopefully my reservation will go back to the original time that I booked 7:30 am. But if it doesn't...............
I was wondering if they would be willing to change my day of travel? When I spoke with the USAIR rep she told me when it got closer I could either get a refund (really not an option) or they could put me on another flight (connecting or at another airport). I really would like a non-stop flight, if at all possible, and I really don't want to go to a New York airport.

I was wondering if they would be able to change the dates and fly us out a day earlier? anyone know? Beverly Lynn, do you know?

That way I would get the room for another night, without extending our package and we would be able to enjoy the resort, go to downtown disney, etc... just a thought. I am trying to figure out an alternative game plan.

Our original trip was 5 days WDW, 3 day cruise, and I wouldn't mind at all going a day ahead of schedule. You know what I mean!

I appreciate all the replies for my previous posts. I have said it before and I will say it again, These Boards are great.
Thanks again,
Debbie

In the event of a schedule change, the airline's only obligation to you is to issue a complete refund or put you on other flights on the same day as originally ticketed. You could get an agent who will accommodate your request, but they are not obligated to do so. Considering that US Airways has only one daily non-stop on your route, I wouldn't count on it.

Just curious as to why you don't get a refund and re-book on Delta, which has 5 daily non-stops. If they have a schedule change, they will have other non-stop options for you. With US Airways, you have no other options for non-stop flights.

there will be other schedule changes before your flight date on usair and more than likely it will go back to the original schedule that you had. and they will change it to the flight that you would want instead of what the computer picked on the change. I bought a tkt for winter travel and it went thru many changes and in the end I ended up back on the original flight I had booked.

TravelSheryl: When I do a search on Delta's site I do not see multiple non-stop flights. Maybe if I were flying out of NY instead of Ct. they would offer more non-stop flights. I saw connecting flights to MCO, and a non-stop back home. Plus, all these flights are more expensive than my USAIR tix I got in Jan.

Beverly Lynn: I guess I will just wait and hope for the best. I hope it goes back to my original time. Although leaving a day early was starting to sound pretty good

I have been checking all flights out of Bradley for the 9th & 10th of November. I have also been checking into Jet Blue, which flys out of JFK in my area. The tv's at each seat sound pretty cool. Plus, there fares seem pretty reasonable. I wil wait and see..........keep your fingers crossed.
Thanks again,
Debbie ;)

Delta has five daily non-stops each way between Hartford and Orlando. I found them on Travelocity. It may just be easier to give Delta a call. They'll give you the schedule and prices.

I guess cost is relative, unless it's a whole lot more expensive. Peace of mind has a price. :)

sometimes the individual airlines websight is updated while it takes longer for the other travel sights to get the actual schedules. this is why its best to always go to the individual carriers sight instead of travelocity and expedia etc. are you a frequent traveler member of one or the other carrier? if you are trying to gain enough miles for a free tkt then try to stick with the carrier which best suites you and your needs.
I have also heard nothing but great reviews of jet blue. Leota from here also flies them for her trips to MCO and she loves them! Since they don't fly from pittsburgh I have no personal experience to speak of. good luck on your final decision.

They let me change my dates when I had a schedule change that didn't work for me. This was last August.
