Yet another ticket question!!

Ok I will need one AP to get the AP discount at CSR. I was thinking of getting FITS passes for my DH and DS's. Now do you think I should get an AP or a PAP. With the FITS pass the rest of my family will have unlimited access to the water parks and DisneyQuest.

Do you think it would be more cost effective to get the PAP or just pay my way into the water parks and DQ? The PAP just seems so expensive, and I'm not even sure I'll be able to use it again within a year.

How many times do you think that your family will visit DQ and the waterparks? The cost difference between a PAP and an AP is about $75. If you think that you would spend more than that on admission to DQ & waterpaks combined, then a PAP is still the better way to go.

Just to help you do the math, a waterpark admission is $33.02/adult before the AP discount (which is $3). And DQ tickets can be purchased in advance from Ticketmania for $24/adult. They're $30 with the AP discount at the door.

AllEarsNet says an AP is $403.64 and the PAP is $531.44, that's almost a $128.00 difference. $531.44 just seems like a lot of money. I really would like to just get the FITS for me too, but alas I was able to snag an AP discount for my room.

Ooops! Sorry, I was looking at the wrong prices (renewal price for the PAP and ne price for APs).

But, you still would need to decide whether you would spend the difference on admissions to the waterparks and DQ. You're basically talking about a minimum of 5 visits combined in order to get past the break-even point.
