We were in Disney over the weekend and were able to ride 3 times. I have to say that right before "lift off" I was ready to take off right out of the pod we were in, but boy am I glad I didn't. This ride is truly amazing. I've seen a lot of posts where "pooh" sized people are concerned they won't fit, but there is more than enough leg room, the instrument panel just tilts toward you. I would say that if you fit on RnRC, Mission Space would be absolutely fine. The shoulder restraints will accomodate most people, I am small at 4'll", my DH is taller at 6'2", and my DD is about 5'3", none of us felt like we weren't secure enough in there. The ride is much smoother that Body Wars or Star Tours. My DD said it was even smoother than Space Ship Earth, no head knocking against the seat as you go backwards!
I think that's just a ploy to keep you awake.
As far as motion sickness, I think that's all individualized, but I had no after effect at all from it, my DH and DD said their knees were a little weak for a moment or two. We had the most fun trying to lift our feet up during the "sling shot", it was like magnets were pulling our feet down. I think it's a ride everyone should try at least once. The feelings you get in there are indescribable. If you have question, just ask, I'll do my best to answer. By the way, Gary Senice (sp?) was great in the preshow.
