Yet another land/sea question!

Hey everyone,

Just a quick question regarding packing clothes for the land/sea vacation. Me and my dd are going to be in WDW for 6 nights prior to the cruise and I just learned that there are laundry services on board or you can wash your own clothes. B4 I knew that, I was considering packing seperate bags for each trip and after the land portion, sending the dirty clothes home to wash later. Do you think it's more practical to just pack my casual clothes and use them for land and then on the last night/morning of my trip do a load or two of wash OR should I do a load while on the ship OR just send a bag home? I'm confused about how to make this work. I just realized after doing some reading that bathing suits and casual wear are what people have on most of the day and then a couple of decent outfits for evening!!!

Any suggestions are welcome!

We usually do a week at WDW before the cruise. First, I pack one bag of "cruise only" things--I don't need dressy stuff at WDW. Then I pack a bag of casual things for both. I do laundry the last night at WDW as the laundry facilities there are more plentiful than on the ship. That way, I start the cruise with everything clean again, and usually don't have to do it on the ship. Has worked for us on 10 cruises.

We are going on our 4th sailing all have been land/sea 3 land 7 sea here's how we pack........put everything in your suitcases that you think you need..........then take half back out!!!! It sounds crazy but you still might have too much!! Yes, laundry is on the ship and DW prefers to do some sailing so she doesn't have all that dirty stuff when we get home.....plus my DDs enjoy buying themselves tropical outfits at the ports for the different dinners.........Good lick!
