Yet another FP WOC question . . .

We're staying at the DLH, so we can get in line 1/2 before the park opens, correct? My understanding is that they will scan our tickets, let us in and then we go get the FastPass.

My SIL, her dh and dd are not early morning people. They wander into the park at around 10am. We get up early and like to be there when it opens. Is there any way to get FP for them as well so we would all be in the same section?

If not, I'm guessing our next best option is to buy the picnic meals, since we're definitely not doing any of the dining plans. Any other ideas as to how to get the FP in the same section?

All of the people getting WoC FPs have to go into DCA, after that they don't need to stay with thier tickets.

To do that early entry you go through the Grand California entrance.

So they will need to go early. Or you could do the picnic meals. Despite what people have reported about the cost for the picnics many people excuse that they are going to spend money on dinner anyway.

Your are going too fast skiingfast! ;) What you are saying is not entirely correct. You can go into DL at 8AM (or 7AM with MM) and that is good enough to get WOC FPs as well.

The more complete statement is that in order to get WOC FPs (or any FP for that matter) each park entrance ticket must be scanned at either DL or DCA first.

If you want to try and be clever and get the tickets scanned without the person present, be careful! The CMs will not do it without a person. The next option is for a single person to go into DL or DCA, exit, and then re-enter with a different person's ticket. Besides being against the non-transferrable Disney ticket rules, the other person may not be able to get in later because they would not have a hand stamp.

Well, but in reply to momtotwolittleones question, skiingfast is right on. She specifically stated that the rest of the people in her group are not early morning people. So it is safe to infer that she is asking about going into the Park before the others have started their day and getting FPs for everyone. Without breaking Disney policies, this cannot be done.

Therefore, skiingfast's reply is right on.

I'd just all get FP at 10am or whenever they get there. Or do picnics. Picnics avoid the line completely (if you don't show up to pick yours up at 11:30am). The picnics aren't worth $14 but you do get a reusable bag and in the kids meals, a glow bracelet that's the on/off kind, not the dead tomorrow kind.
