Yet another DDP question.

Can you add DDP to an existing booking?

Can anyone tell me the pros and cons as everything I've read is so confusing. We're going for 21 days, will be spending lots of time on site and in the resort but will obviously be going off for days e.g universal, sea world etc.

Can you use more than one credit on one day? Can you choose anything of the menu or is it a special menu in each place?

Thanks!

25 days to go!!!

You can add it to an existing reservation.

You can use more than 1 credit a day. When you go to a signature restaurant, you use 2 table service credits. We also spent some days at Universal, but still used all our credits. It's just a matter of organising everything (all the table services) before you set off.

You can choose anything off the menu, there isn't a seperate one. Appetisers aren't included though, which is a bit of a shame, but sometimes it's worth paying the extra to get it (we did so at Le Cellier).

In theroy you can still add the DDP to your booking. Who have you booked with?

The DDP can only be purchased as part of a package, and by that they mean Room & Tickets. This must all be purchased from 1 supplier.

We book it for convienience rather than to save money as we stay and eat mostly on site.

At the moment the basic plan allows for 1 table service, 1 quick service and a snack and can be used in whatever order you like. If you want to use 3 table services in one day then there is nothing to stop you. The basic plan does not include a starter or tips with the table service meal.

You can use the DDP in most if not all food outlets at Disney and you will be given the standard menu to choose from.

For some the only down side is that you have to plan and book well in advance for the table service meals. Lots of people book 180 days in advance. If you decide it is for you, you should give DD a call and see if they have any reservations available for the restaurants you would like to eat in as this might make the decision for you.

Have you had a look on all ears.net as they have menus for all the Disney restaurants.

Thanks so far.

We have booked our main ADR's in the places we want to eat - actually we've booked quite a few.

I don't want to lose any money that's all!
