Yet another Crocs ?

I love my Crocs. Wore them this past weekend in Disney and my feet never hurt! However, I wore socks with them because it was chilly.

The nubby things on the soles bother me. Is there any way to get rid of them? Scraping them off or something? I want to wear them when we go again in June but it will be way too warm for socks.

The nubby things bothered me too when I tried Crocs on. That's why I wound up with Airwalks, they don't have any nubbies.

Hi Michele! The nubby things bothered me too at first. I found that the more I wear them, the less they bother me. I bought the Airwalks first too but I just really didn't like them as much - the plastic is not as pliable and they made my feet sweaty. Try wearing your Crocs around the house and see if you can get used to the nubbies. I think they wear down a bit after they're worn for a while.

There are also things like Air Pillow soles or other types of shoe liners you might want to use.
I don't know if any of these actually can be temporarily affixed to the shoe bed as I have only used the slip in type for my regular shoes.

I was thinking about insoles actually. I'm not sure how well they will stay in. I might buy some and try them.

Any other ideas? Can you heat the soles and smooth them out? Anyone try that?

They felt strange to me at first but they were so comfortable that I wore them. They do wear down after a while of wearing them. Try to wear them around and get used to them. You probably won't even notice the nubbies after a while.

Also, depending on where they were made, they have different nubs. I have some that were made in Canada and some made in CO. Some have bigger nubs and some have none at all. That doesn't really help you now, but something to look at in the future.
