Yesterday my family was at the

library and it is two stories, the kids stuff is on the second level. and the adults is on the first so my husband goes to the adults and I go with the kids.

me and the kids got the books so we went down to look for my husband. and we found him and my oldest had to use the bathroom, so we went to the info. desk to find out where they moved the bathrooms they completlely redid the library. we found out them

and so i took my oldest to were it was located at and my youngest was behind.......... us so i thought.......... when i turned he wasnt there, i looked right and left. i started to shack. I thought maybe he went back to his dad, so i went back to my husband. No Jacob. I really got scared I think I was yelling his name in the library.

I retraced my steps and found him in the elevator. he want to ride it cause we didnt use it earlier. (I will only go on one if I have too). I dont think I every been so scared.

I'm glad to hear he was safe. My children have a tendency to wander off too so I know how scary it can be

I had to read where you were from to realize it's not our library you were talking about. The adult sect is on the 1st floor, children's is on 2nd, then we have ground level where the front door is and the basement where there's a conference room for events, etc. If not in use the basement is locked off on the elevator.
We have had children enter the elevator, go out the front door and into the street. Thankfully this goes into the side street and not Main St. Usually either my coworker or myself do run after the kids. It doesnt take long for kids to wander off.
